You can find the best price on items and find out where they are sold. It's so easy. I don't always find what I am looking for, but there are a few other sites, like Amazon, that are very likely to have whatever I want or need.

Promises something of value ($100),makes you work for it by answering questions, and then you find out your "reward" is 4 magazine subscriptions that are no way worth $100 (they have special rates all the time) and you have to pay $2.00 each to "process" and they are are self-renewing to boot. Scam. Shou ;d be illegal.

Many years ago this site was invaluable for finding good online merchants, but something has happened to them. Now they make it difficult to check the ratings of particular merchants by name, and the link to go directly to merchant ratings is very small and near the bottom of their pages. When trying to rate a particular merchant, it brings you all the way through the "interview" process only to tell you at the end that an "internal error" has occurred. They seem more interested in being a shopping portal and directing you to stores that have no ratings (despite being around for a long time)... but of course the "rate" part of bizrate seems to be broken. Some of the most frequently rated (on other sites) online retailers are featured right at the top of bizrate's listings, impervious to the threat of acquiring ratings there themselves. As such, its become almost the opposite of what it was.

Don't take their survey! I was told if I took the survey I would be eligible for a $100 Rewards card. I took it once, and once I submitted all my answers, I got the spin (hour glass spin). So I refreshed and started over. When I finished, I got the message "Sorry, your interview cannot be completed at this time, Please check back later." That's not going to happen! I just know I have been entered on every spam list there is!

Misrepresentation for sure. Promising $100 then giving you a selection of magazines and expecting you to put your financial information down for two dollars. Despicable! What a waste of my time! I am so angry!

I would award zero stars! This is a scam survey site as far as I am concerned. You hardly ever qualify for their survey. You sometimes waste 10 minutes and more answering questions before they inform you that you don't qualify. Points are not added if you are disqualified, even after you answered 10 minutes worth. The questions are often ridiculous. What else can I say! Don't bother to join!

I bought two things online tonight and after each one the bizrate pop-up came up and I took the second one because it was worded as if I took a survey I would be entered to win $100 or something like that. But it's actually just a ruse for you to sign up for magazine subscriptions. That's the prize that's worth "$100"... but they want you to pay the shipping fees for them! DUMB.

The site gathers your survey responses, then tells you you don't qualify, even if you have spent 45 minutes to an hour. It takes many hours to get to the 5000 level of points to obtain a reward, which is likely not worth anywhere near what your time is worth. Total rip-off!

They offer you $100 to fill out a survey, then after you are finished you find out that the reward consists of four magazine subscriptions that you can only get if you pay $2 for each and give out your credit card information. And the subscriptions renew automatically unless you remember to cancel in time. I would not trust this dishonest company with my credit card information.

I joined and have a total of 1800 points. I have taken too many surveys that end with "Unfortunately, you did not qualify for this survey." I did my part, and should have been compensated for my time invested, or, at least told not to bother because I don't qualify. $5 gift card for 5000 points I may never be able to complete, maybe after about 24 hrs. Of wasted time. I will unsubscribe to this scam!

After purchasing a $1000 item online at a reputable site, they partnered with Bizrate which offered me a "$100 Reward" for filling out a survey. After giving the survey the offered me 4 magazines, "A $100 Value"; that's fine, I get it, but then they wanted me to pay for "Processing". What a joke! Don't waste your time with this scam.

They lure you in with something free. Its magazines and you have to pay for them.

The oddest thing about the site is it keeps saying login at the top of the page despite me being logged in.

I did enough surveys to redeem for an Amazon gift card figuring I would only do a few to check if its legit. Its been almost two weeks since I redeemed and I have still yet to receive anything.

I reached out to customer service and I heard nothing back.

This seems more like a scammy data fishing website. Don't use as it will just mine your data.

This site is a scam, ripoff, waste of time, you name it! Fortunately, after I "took" my first survey, I saw through the fake rewards system. Others have spent hours finding this out. Check reviews of any website before spending, wasting, too much time on them.

This site is totally ridiculous don't wast your time. They will entice you with a few min survey worth say 250 points and ask you about 10 mins. Worth of questions which is most likley the survey. Then one they get the info they were most likely looking for they tell you the surveys quota has been met and give you 50 points for your trouble. Then good luck trying to redeem your point. If you finley take the time to run through the gauntlet of advertisements and who knows what you find out you need at least 5000 point to collect a $5.00 discount on products that you can buy for $5.00 bucks or junk no one would take for free. DON'T WAST YOUR TIME!

Oh and to top it off, I received an email message Error! That my unsubscribe failed to go through! Are you kidding me!

Bizrate as an extension of Jo Malone purchase on their site:. Promise of $100 in "free" merchandise or some such. You give them all of your personal information just short of SSN and at the end you are offered "free" magazines but not so free with a "$2.00 processing fee"! This is a scam at it's finest! You are left wishing you could go back and erase the whole thing. Also, the magazine subscriptions are set up to auto-renew so down the line you will be forced to cancel them or renew at an exorbitant rate. Shame on Jo Malone! A luxury brand associated with a used car dealership mentality company.

I have answered Bizrate surveys for months, finally accumlating enough points to redeem a $5 gift card (which they were going to deliver to my e-mail account). Never heard from them again (other than to take more surveys lol) and nowhere does their website allow you to contact them to inquire about why you didn't receive the reward. Big waste of time for zero reward...

I was inly able to complete 1 survey. Got bored one night, so figured I'd do a few. I went thru 10 or more surveys answering my demographic info anywhere from 5 to 10 questions only to get the message I do not meet the criteria. Once you open a bizrate account, they ask you all your demo info. What a waste if time. Deleted my account

Tried to correct delivery address with company as I had it wrong. They referred me to fedex with tracking number who would not change it. It had to come from shipping company. Called back to company and the guy told me his guy had been on hold for over half hour doing what I should have done, quit calling as I was tying up his lines, would not listen to me, yelled at me on phone then hung up on me. I would NEVER BUY anything from this company again and that employee needs anger management classes and how to deal with public. Horrible public relations and a rude person. Have lots of friends working on their vehicles and people who repair cars for a living and told them not to buy from this company...

Spent countless hours answering questions to find out I don't qualify for pretty any surveys ever. It took me a month to get 400 points which I come to find out is 40 cents or something ridiculous. What a scam.

They invited me to take a surveys, however after answering a bunch of intrusive questions I didn't qualify. The points they offer are worth next to nothing if you do actually get to take a survey. So you may be getting pennies per hour for the time you spend.

Have pay my money y for useless "reward"magazines. Every time offers me $100 reward for purchase survey. After wasting time I get rewarded with chance to give my CC and pay for some useless magazines or "just" shipping. Pretty sure I would get signed up for that crap automatically and after some time would get charges & be a big hassle even to cancel. It's scam for sure

I chose to write a review for a website via Bizrate. At the end of the review came the scam. A $100 reward. Pick a magazine for FREE! Nothing in this world is FREE, so I tried to bypass the Reward and submit my review. OH, NO! It would not let me continue to submit my survey without getting stuck with a magazine-none of which I want to read. Been there, done that! NO MORE! Once the FREE magazine subscription ends, you get billed for a real subscription. Don't do the surveys!

After you buy something from some sites bizrate offers you to take a survey for a free gift $100 value. After the survey they offer you to pick a year worth of subscription for up to 4 magazines, on a next screen they tell you that they actually will charge you $2 per each magazine and ask for your credit card info.

Made a similar mistake as many others on this message board. Made the mistake of giving away information for the '$100' for my online store experience. I think I even thought it was for the store I had made a purchase at. They directed me to another site where I was to pay for $2 per prescription for up to 4 magazines. Was a narrow selection, not to mention the seemingly independent website which I was to Pay for my Free $100 gift. I thought this was ridiculous so I exited the website. After making another purchase a few days later, I was offered a free $25 gift for a review of my purchase. I don't think they need any more of my personal information. This appears to be a scam, and it worries me that its being linked to online vendors. I've read some reviews from others who did the Nigerian prince/air crash/relative-like thing and they did get there magazines (for the $2 each) but could not cancel.

Tip for consumers:
Don't get suckered in. Find way to block site with an pop-up blocker or something.

They offer an incentive for taking a survey. The incentive is pushing other products that you typically don't want and audio is played telling you that you can claim this award. I was on the train so I close the page. Never a good experience with bizrate.

It's been three years since I joined Bizrate up to now I only have 2775 points! It takes forever to accumulate points. Email that I receive for survey always say quota has been reached even though I just receive the email 4 minutes before I do the survey.

Just as soon as you get the 5000 points to claim reward get rid of your Bizrate account.

I purchased an aftermarket hood for my BMW 325 from PatrsGeek.com and I have to say, it was very cheaply made. I did have a chance to speak with one of their managers and she was actually very professional, no complaints there. My only complaint is that the part itself truly is junk and so this is more of a buyer beware review.
