You can find the best price on items and find out where they are sold. It's so easy. I don't always find what I am looking for, but there are a few other sites, like Amazon, that are very likely to have whatever I want or need.
Promises something of value ($100),makes you work for it by answering questions, and then you find out your "reward" is 4 magazine subscriptions that are no way worth $100 (they have special rates all the time) and you have to pay $2.00 each to "process" and they are are self-renewing to boot. Scam. Shou ;d be illegal.
Rip off! Said I'd be entered for $100 if I took a survey, when I finished it said 'congrats, here are your magazine subscriptions worth $100, just send $8 for processing'?!?! Bet I'll be on a spam list for years now!
The bizrate site itself may be safe, but the surveys the site connects you to are dangerous information gathering scum! Directly after joining up, and going to a couple of surveys, I started getting bombarded with SPAM emails. I am smart enough to delete such, "rewards", emails, but I wasn't smart enough to research bizrate before signing up. In my opinion, just avoid bizrate when it pops up at the end of your online order.
Tip for consumers:
Run, don't walk, away from bizrate.
The dangle a carrot in front of you and claim that it's value is $100. All you got to do is fill out the survey. Turns out it's a bunch of magazines subscriptions that are renewing. Shame on you BizRate minus respect. You're disgusting. Tell the truth upfront gain respect.
I recently purchased a Gaggia Titanium coffee machine and it did not work. I had not even had the machine for 24 hours, it costs $700 and when I called to say I wanted to return it the service rep told me that I should've read the fine print. I have to pay for the original shipping costs and new original packaging (which has to be ordered from them) and then pay for return shipping. All this for a machine that won't work with any oily beans, which they never stated in their video about the ease of use of this machine. So if you like Starbucks beans just know it won't work with this machine. We have done business three times with this company wholelattelove over the past 10 years only to be treated like our business doesn't matter and that they make a habit of stonewalling people who are unhappy with their purchase. This company does not stand behind their products and are rude on many levels. I will never do business with them again.
Tip for consumers:
Read all the troubleshooters comments on the Gaggia machines before purchasing. Very expensive mistake!
I filled out a survey and was offered 4 magazines for $2.00. I reluctantly chose 4 and got a bill for $8. 00. 4 mags@ $2 each. That was not the deal offered. If I could put them out of business, I would. I had to click on one of the star ratings. I would have given it a minus if I could.
Basically spend 10 minutes making a "confidential" review that isnt really confidential. Under the impression you are gettung "up to" 100$ (of course you arent). Then you find out the "reward" is for stuff like a discount on magazine subscriptions and has nothing to do with the merchant you filled out the survey for. Its 2022... Nobody subscribes to magazines. They also collect some pretty intrusive information about you and your household... And they say they dont sell it. Well I made a burner email just for that survey to see what would happen. 2 months later theres dozens of spam emails in there... Bizrate arent scammers, by definition... But by principle, yes, they are scammers.
Tip for consumers:
Dont waste your time
Do not sign up for anything that's related to Bizrate if you don't want to be spammed. I made the mistake of doing so through Overstock, and now I keep getting Bizrate's emails. Even though I've I unsubscribed at least three times, their emails are still coming through. So beware!
Too many times I'm promised 750 pts to complete a survey and halfway through the survey, after getting all kinds of personal info from me, they tell me the survey has too many respondents, thank you for your time and award me 50 pts.
Just started Bizrate and took my first survey and got my 200 points and the magazine subscriptions. I said oh for $2.00 I got 4 magazines. My charge card was charged. Right now waiting to receive first magazine in the mail. But on next survey I was 10 minutes into it and glitch happened and computer froze. Lost my survey and could take it again. So 30 minutes of my life was lost. Got another survey and about 30 minutes into taking survey again a glitch. Same result. Now i am concerned about additional charges on my credit card for the magazines
Waste my time, capture my email address... only to repeatedly write, "Enter valid email address." I'm betting against the $100.0o prize, but am sure to get some ZBS spam sent to my email! Shame on. Com for partnering with this pissant, lame-$#*! outfit. The 1 rating is too generous... need a 0!
Every time I click to do a survey, it tells me that the quota has been fulfilled but I get 25 or 50 points. Even when I do the survey, it still only gives me a few 25 or 50 points, even though it promises up to 2,500. It's a waste of time and effort.
We placed a Clinique order on-line and thought the $100 gift for completing the survey was going to be in Clinique products. As we completed the lengthy survey and got to the end we saw it was magazines, with automatic renewal and shipping costs so we backed right out. Guess what happened -it still went through even we had not completed the survey and backed out. This verges on fraudulent activity.
We called Clinique as that was the only source for credit card info and even their Corporate Office could not help. Clinique stated we would have to Google Bizrate as they have no phone number and take it up with them. We explained this survey was part of our order with them and they should be taking care of it. Clinique refused - they have lost a customer of 35 years and should be ashamed.
As far a Bizrate -stay as far away from their surveys as you can.
Disappointed customer -Kelowna BC
I just took a survey that Bizrate Rewards emailed to me. It says, "Earn up to 750 Points by taking a quick 15 minute survey.". So I take the survey and it takes about 10 minutes and when I come to the end of it, I get a message from Bizrate saying, "The survey has reached it's quota... 50 points will be added...". WTH! I just took time out to answer questions about my healthcare and then I get a message saying the quota was reached. This isnt the 1st time this has happened. Why answer questions, if you only get screwed by Bizrate in the end?
You need to change something or you won't have anyone to take your surveys. This isn't fair to people who take time out of their day to answer questions.
I was just filtered through what I considered to be five surveys, none of which was worth any points, to find out that I didn't meet the criteria for the point bearing survey. The screening surveys are seldom brief. I was redirected to another point bearing survey that had two screening surveys to get through to determine if I was a candidate. The whole process took an hour and a half. I finally finished the point survey, which took another half an hour, and was awarded a total of 250 points.
Considering you have to earn a minimum of 5000 points to even qualify for a $5 gift card, your time is worth pennies per hour. Do this only if you have nothing else to occupy your time.
All they ever do is entice you with big rewards for surveys that you do not qualify for. They keep you in the loop by offering survey after survey that you do not quality for and just collect as much personal data as they can.It is a big rip off.
I was solicited to take a survey regarding an on-line purchase I had made. I was offered the "chance for a $25 reward". The "$25 reward" turned out to be only if I subscribed to $25 worth of magazines!
What a scam!
This site sucks. I did hours and hours of surveys and all I got is a couple thousand worthless points. I can only redeem 5000 points. I just looked up that all you will get for hours and hours of surveys is $5 gift card with those 5000 points. I wasted my time. It is a scam.
I did a review for a company I bought a product from states free magazines for doing the review. Checked my bank statement today and I was charged $61.00 for a subscription. The credit card I used to pay the $2.00 shipping fee was used to renew my subscription without my knowledge.
You older stuff never come and they take money out your bank card and your stuff never come. They do not have a phone number to call only email and they lie say they do not take money out.do not older if you want loss your money. I loss $125 my older never came. I older stuff like 2 month ago never came.
I went on the Kids Footlocker website and Bizrate popped up. The pop up said fill out this survey and win enter a $25.00 gife card. Once I filled it out they refused to accept my email address. So I filled out a survey for nothing!
Eyeglasses dot com uses BizRate to " endorse " their web site. Eyeglasses dot com is a foreign owned Chinese manaufacturing company masquerading as a USA company.
While BizRate endorses Eyeglasses.com they are both shams. Avoid.
I ordered some stuff from a site at end I recvied from bizright take this survey and rec a 100 gift card to para cord planet at the end of the survey they said choose 4 magazine's for 2 bucks an issue totalling 100 dollars. It clearly states take, this survey and rec 100 dollars to the merchant I've informed the business about what there doing as well. They should be shut down
I placed an order with E. L. f. Cosmetics to be immediately taken to a Bizrate survey. I was promised $100. At the end of the survey I was offered 4 magazine subscriptions totaling $100. What a scam! I don't need magazines! I need $100
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from Bizrate Surveys don't waste your time!!!
I ordered a puppet for my grandson, He really wanted it. After several weeks they informed me it was no longer available. BizRate was quick to blame the vendor, They accepted NO responsibility, NO accountability, why would anyone use this service, it is horrible. The fact that they use the word Christian for there scam is not acceptable. Please NEVER< NEVER use this vendor
I found an ad for washers on the site for 49.00 dols. The site was invies.com. I went on to their web site the rep. Told me to buy a amazon gift card to pay for purchase of the washer when i was done they sent the copy of purchase order then notice for shipment I never received the the washer lost 49.00 out of the 50.00 dollar gift.
