BPM is not a successful platform. Too many people scamming. Too many catfishers. Was not successful at all.

I wouldn't say BPM is personally responsible for these losers who sign up for this service. Unfortunately, it just give these guys a platform to try to seek out their next victims, and to spread their dysfunction. Ladies beware of the following men on BPM, everything from psychotic liars to abusive to sex addicts, or financially unstable: SIX2ONE90N10, sikeknight, jnay1972 (just had a baby), SquiresPsyD, Leoism---CoolLVTQMTKN- he's a sweet guy, but almost 50, and still lives with his uncle, and doesn't have stable employment or reliable car. Please run in the opposite directions with: RAMELL5000, he lies and tells you his name is Ramello Lundie, and he's a lawyer, and never been married and has no kids. All lies, he is recently married, and has children, and he's behind on child support. He has been convicted from everything from rape to fraud, his real name is Melvin Lundie---beware!

I've been on this site for about a year. As a Black female in the 40-60 age group is just down right hurtful, horrible, deceptive and disgusting. I have never in my life been so stressed up and depress from this site! I don't know why the FTC won't get involve and investigate this horrible site! You have men who put up fake profiles, indicating their divorce, seeking marriage or serious relationship when most of them are already MARRIED looking for a sidekick. Some claim to be bankers, loan officers, when they are car salesmen. They are abusive verbally and many have criminal records especially DUI and Domestic Violence. You got players on there in there 60s married trying to date 5-6 women at once that live nearby while also married. You got those that are in prison that have cell phones and they try to hook you for when they get out of prison they have a place to come. Most of these men have recently got out of failed marriages and are bitter. There're looking for one night stands, they do drugs and are alcoholics. It's a sad sight it's disgusting. If you find anyone who looks half way decent they do not live in your state and many have serious fake profiles. I have never in my life been so disappointed and hurt from the results. Fraud and Deceptive practices on this site needs to be reported to FTC for investigation because you are paying your money to find someone and none of them are trustworthy. Liars and practices emotional pain. This site either needs to clean up its act or be shut down! It causes more problems of sadness than happiness! You have to watch out for the Kevin Jenkins 61, looking for marriage, serious relationship out of Chandler, AZ who claims to have just relocated from Texas last 3 months! Big lie! Kevin Jenkins aka "Closer 56" name on BPM is very married of 21 years to Regina Jenkins, Real Estate Agent at Century 21 in Gilbert, AZ and yet he claims he's divorced so he can pull women on the side. Closer 56 claims to be a lot of things but he's a car salesman at Henry Brown GMC in Gilbert AZ and will try to manipulate you into getting a car. Once you meet him he's a charmer at first then he turns nasty on you and starts with emotional and verbal abuse and he really lives in Queen Creek w/wife. Been living in AZ for the past 5 years from TX and just watch out for him and his kind because if you don't you will be sorry after you find out you have been taken advantage of in the worse way! Ladies be cautious on this site these men are horrible! Take it from someone who has experience the evil side of online dating! Never think you are the ony one may one of 5-10 other women! Oh yes they light to ghost a lot and gaslight a lot very abusive men!

I just joined BPM. I am a white female, attractive, hardworking & excellent mother. I was on this site a week and realized no good if your looking for anything other then sex. Men try to come off as gentleman but don't last. I met one guy ( GRACEWALK) and he had the most attractive profile & pics very handsome supposedly divorced w 4 kids. A YOUTH MINISTER FOR YOUTH! This part was true I googled his name. Found that he APPEARS to be a reputable local minister. He was looking for a WOMAN OF GOD... 1st day we chat, he's insulting me right off bat saying I sound like a smoker, I don't smoke, asked me if I had teeth bc I wasn't showing them in my pic, implied I was 400 lbs because most of women her met were heavy and he can't have an "obese or ugly woman", ask me first night we talked on phone 1 day after meeting he asked me to come meet him for an hour and asked if I could twerk! I am a 34 year old grown woman I don't twerk! I bet some of the disadvantaged youth he ministers twerk though. Then reveals he has 2 adopted high school & college age daughters, one of which was gonna be staying w him for summer! Yeah I bet! So I use VOIP app because I don't know this man so I used Talkatone figured if all went well would give my real number later. He instead of asking me went did Google search then got nasty I didn't give him my real number gee now y'all see why! Asking me if my children are mixed or white. So after being insulted by this man and him already PROBING me first couple days was enough red flags for me. I messaged him told him something was off about HIM and I wasn't interested. Was meeting him Friday for coffee but that's off! Ladies, be careful here especially if you have children. This man works with youth that's a scary thought. Beware! This man is a wolf in sheep clothing! And, I read one of his Bios online he did 10 years in prison for something. Probably using ministry as a front for something sinister. Oh put cherry on top he said he was looking for a white wife but he's on a site that is predominately black and made for black people. Lmao! Ladies be careful! Good luck! The company has an advertisement to try for 1mo for $10. So I say ok and filled out and read all the small print. When I checked my bank account this company took $69.93 from my account. REALLY! So I unsubscribe in a FLASH got on there site and guess what no phone number... wonder why? So I send through there so call email message BULL$#*! RESPONSE I already unsubscribe. WHERES MY MONEY... so I call the Bank and address the issue Chase put me on hold came back and told me what to say and the company phone number. Their represenative tells me they are going to refund and to look for it in 3 to 5 days. You know I askedwhy so long it didnt take you a second to take after you have a misleading website. She acknowledged the $10 for 1 month and want me to agree I said HELL NO I DONT WANT IT IF ITS FREE. GIVE ME ALL MY MONEY. The bank told me if they didn't return in the time frame they will refund my account and do an investigation on this company. I TRUST THE FEDERAL RESERVE will get there $#*! about their money. So i did get my money back. Lesson learned is to: NEVER TRUST THESE DATING SITES... MORE OF A HEADACHE THEN THE PERSON YOU TRYING TO MEET. YOU CSN MEET HIM OR HER BY FATE OR FAITH.

Don't hand over your bank details to this site – you gonna be put on repeat billing. Customer support must be based on Mars, it's unreachable (and you have to reach it to stop the recurring payments!)
I've had nothing but problems with overcharges. I would estimate 95% fake profiles and outright scam artists on BlackPeopleMeet. They are exploiting the gullible trusting people as much as they can.

Paid Have you everfor six months subscription could not load any photos which meant I would not get any likes contact company. They would not even bother to answer. Asked for refund. They just ignored it money gone down the drain. I have plenty of time. I will find the parent company. And report them to the attorney general of that state!

It's supposed to be free but it's not. Numerous scammers are their biggest flaw, there is absolutely no control over scammers. They don't verify documents and social networks of female members to prevent scam and fake profiles, they don't care. Your safety and your search is entirely your problem. If you decide to use this platform, just be very careful and watch out for scammers, as there are really a LOT of them ( especially among good-looking women), don't send money to anyone, to matter what reasons they make up.
