This is my second time ordering. I selected a different brand because their sample swatches were a great fit for the bedrooms. Very substantial fabric. These are blackout and they do a great job. Also, you did an amazing job with measurements.The fit is fantastic. There is very little gap at the edge of the window. Made by Hunter Douglas, "My Blinds" uses a button-operated retraction that helps the blind go up fast. ( It almost feels self-propelled.) My concern is the second shade I purchased does not retract with as much power. I have to help it to the top of the window. Should I be concerned? Can the tension in the string system be tightened? Thank you.
I purchased one shade for a larger window where I could raise from the bottom, or lower from the top. I love it! Keeps my neighbors from prying into the room, while allowing light in from top. It's a very relaxing. Easy installation, smooth operation.

Very much appreciated the help from designer Paul on my purchase. He was great in helping me identify more samples to suit our needs. I was frustrated that I couldn't get the roller shade that I wanted in motorized form. Was also disappointed that despite ordering my fabric to come in vertical layout, it came standard. In the end though, we're pleased with everything. The customer service is quite good here.
They addressed the issues I outlined above by offering to replace the shade if I wasn’t happy with it once it was hung. Very pleasant rep diffused me.

I received my original order and was one vane short. I called customer service and informed them that I had ordered this online from Amazon and ask if I needed to call them to get another vane. Ordering and all was super simple, cheapest site on the internet, hands down. The only issue I've had, and ive ordered a few times is my vertical slats came 2 inches shorter than expected. On the website there a drop down that asks for exact length and Nowhere did i read where it says the slats are cut 2 inches short to account for the rail header. Maybe I missed it. BUT, I called and after some back and forth about how I measured with what seemed to me an accusatory tone, I was sent a whole new order at no charge. I only needed the slats sent 2 inches longer but was told that their policy is to redo and resend the whole order. Seems like a waste of shipping and materials to me when my current header and valence is perfect. No cost to me so I can't complain too much. Blinds.com if you're reading this review, why DON'T you just recut the slats only and send those instead of the whole order? Wouldn't you save yourself precious money in shipping, labor and materials?
