They motto is truthful. I needed to create a website for a very small event of our company and as one of the heads, I was forced to do that. I started to search for various solutions and found these guys. Terms were veeeery tight, I got to meet all the deadlines, and due to them I managed to create a beautiful website within a couple of hours, just from the scratch. I ain't know maybe i got lucky, but if I am so lucky, then I need to go to the lottery :D

I had been with bludomain for many, many years without issue. I thought the templates were great and easy to use. However, all of that is absolutely useless when you are completely ignored! Previously, I had no customer service issues, however, when my renewal came up for this year, I never received an invoice. I reached out with no response. My site was removed so I submitted an emergency support ticket and again I was ignored. I reached out though facebook. NOTHING. No acknowledgement at all. Now I have lost my entire website content, hours and hours of work, countless photos and my DOMAIN NAME. I am absolutely devastated. I have to start over completely. Do not let the bludomain website fool you, they cannot be trusted.

THIS IS A COMPANY TO AVOID. I should have learned my lesson the first time they lost my website and all the data.
In July 2017, BluDomain deleted my website without saving any of my data due what they called was an admin error'. After being offered 3 years free hosting as compensation, I foolishly agreed to accept and stayed with them and rebuilt my site again from scratch.
Just one year later, they had a major crash, no backups and lost not only my site, but all of their client's sites as well. It took weeks to reach someone at BluDomain to find out what had happened. Then to add insult to injury, they just sent me an invoice to renew. This is a company to avoid. They are not contactable via phone, often don't respond to support requests via multiple email requests. Find yourself a reliable web hosting company. BluDomain is a disaster.

I have had them for about 5 months... for a couple sites. Yesterday they went down and for over 5 or more hours. People were writing on their Facebook asking what the deal was and they wouldn't respond until about 1-2 hours before it was fixed. I got a nasty email from one of the directors of marketing because I said I was switching companies. I will not stay with BD after my year is up. I have heard awful things about their customer service and I get it now. They don't know how to talk to clientele. Just think about this too... you are stuck with the design for a full year. No way to make anything different...

I have no idea what you are all talking about-every ticket I submitted was answered promptly-amazing service and an amazing set of templates to purchase-my website is almost live and looks out of this world!

Get a website up and running for photographers in one day - This is one of the better companies I have worked with in terms letting the photographer be more creative in designs and templates. Other website template companies don't offer as much in terms of design and are usually just all flash without much creative thought into them. Bludomain is also extremely cheap relative to other sites out there. Not a bad deal especially if you are just starting out and need to save $$$

I have read most of the complaints on here and I don't really understand how or why they had so many problems... Scams... I think people should offer proof before they are allowed to write such crap! This is the 4th domain I have got from Blu... I have nothing but great things to say about them. I don't think one client has ever told me my site was down nor have I had a problem getting in touch with them. I would caution you if your looking for a flash site that has great SEO... not here not anywhere! Looking for a site that's easy to use/set up and looks great... your at the right place! You can spend thousands to have someone design your site... run your seo for you then charge you for changing a letter... good luck to you... The cost is great... the service is good, the sites are great the SEO is like any other flash site... don't want it go somewhere else... they now have HTML sites... those are the 2 I just purchased... can't wait...

If there were negative stars I would give those. As soon as I paid for my domain for another year my website gone poof. Kind of strange that they do not have a number listed. I putt in Several support tickets and nothing. Do not use them they are a rip off.

I have had my website hosted through bludomain for a few years. Each year, I receive an invoice via email, and have paid. This year, I didn't receive one at all, and then all of a sudden, my website and email are not accessible. It's been completely embarrassing, and REALLY frustrating. Not only that, but it is salt on the wounds that they are not even answering emails or service tickets at all! Not worth it at all! Do not use them!

Been with Bludomain for many years. Was happy and even purchased a 2nd site. I missed an email in June to renew and by the time I read it, they already cut me off. Multiple emails and not 1 response. No phone number available. Very poor customer service... will move on and tell anyone that asks, to stay away!

I bought a template never received any confirmation. NO ONE has gotten back to me about it I have sent 4 emails. The phone number does not work and my paypal has paid them. There is no direction after you purchase very aggrivating

Frequently took my site down without warning, did not receive bills. Had this reoccurring issue for 7-8 years before we were finally able to recover the domain and host elsewhere. Now having difficulties getting a copy of my email subscription list. Have experienced uncountable lost revenue as a result of this companies awful business practices.

Melissa's hosting was due in September 2018. She failed to pay her hosting fee, in November we gave her the final notice that we would be closing the hosting account/termination. It's now May and she would like to find some emails she is missing unfortunately we can't recover those as her hosting server is terminated.

Let me just lead with please save yourself a mound of frustration and do NOT use bludomain. Their defining characteristic is unethical, unprofessional, HORRIBLE customer service. I cannot stress this enough. Please read the reviews out there. I initially signed up with them 12 years ago and it was as horrible then as it is still today. I just kept paying the yearly fee after a while just to keep the site up, but I should have left, oh, immediately when I realized how rude and unhelpful their people were. I honestly don't know how they are still in business. The BBB has a mound of complaints against them. I'll spare you all the details, but please just find another company. Any other company. Because this one is the worst.

I had no issues getting my website set up. Easy enough process. My website and domain expired recently with no notice from blu. I emailed and it took 2 days to get a response. They said that yes it was expired. Made mention that they send out three notifications. I received not one of these. Then they said my "road to redemption" would include me paying them extra money.
Reading other reviews it seems this is a common practice of theirs.
I refuse to get scammed into paying someone more money. I have signed on with another company.
Nice websites but unethical behavior.

You know when you research a company, restaurant, hotel or other establishment and you read some bad reviews but decide to give it a shot anyway? Yeah don't do that with bludomain. Stay far far away from them. I've been trying to get someone to get back to me after numerous emails about the fact that they bill me every year for a service they don't provide for me (hosting) and they still ignore me. But it's ok, as someone who works from home in front of a computer most days I'll be really good at sending the same email to them every day, every hour, over and over and over again until I get a response. I'm sure they will come back with a few lies stating I wasn't a client or that I only sent 1 email, but that's sort of how bludomain works.

We don't show any invoices going to you Sally as you are not a client of BluDomain. We also invoice our clients only & it's up to our clients to pay their invoice. That's how we get paid. The worst customer service ever. My site was suspended after I supposedly didn't pay an invoice that I never received - twice! I updated my email with them and still upon investigation, found out that it had been sent to a defunct email address. When I tried to switch hosts, Bludomain refused to provide information to another hosting company, holding my site hostage until I paid for another term with them. Is this legal? Next step, BBB

Bludomain has the worst customer service we have ever worked with. Once they set up your site, if you ever decide to leave they make you work very hard to get your domain name and server information transferred.

After 2 months of trying to get our domain name transferred we still haven't gotten it. Now our domain is almost expired and Bludomain will not give us a phone number to talk to them! It's all been by email and they are extremely unresponsive. Think twice before working with them. We use Showit websites now and its night and day difference!

Horrible horrible horrible scam of a company! Their technique is to answer your emails with non-answers and zero assistance (that is of course if they respond at all). I feel bad for the employees of this company being led to believe this is an appropriate way to do business. Poorly led! Should be condemned from doing business.

Buyer beware! Do your research: BluDomain gets an "F" rating from the BBB, and for good reason! Customers cannot proof their pictures and place orders because the site has so many design and functional defects. BluDomain is non-responsive.

I cannot say enough negative things about this company. I have been beyond disappointed with their customer service and lack of communication. I started my website with them in 2009 and every year since then when my domain was up for renewal I tried to get out of it but once they have your domain good luck getting them to try to release it to you. I was basically stuck with them until this year when things got so bad that I was forced to just create a new domain name for my company so I could get away from them. They would not respond to me for renewal of my domain name so basically my website shut down. They would not get back to me for over a week so I ended up resorting to creating a whole new website. It was a lot of work but now I am so thankful that I never have to deal with their horrible customer service again. Not only did they refuse to renew my domain name but they would not reimburse the $100 yearly fee that I paid for renewal of my website design. STAY FAR AWAY!

At BluDomain we do not have prorated hosting plans. When our 3rd party hosting is paid to renew the server they don't issue refunds that was paid in June. Very clear. We have never had an issue releasing a domain name in 20 years. Your domain is expired and that has not been paid. We can't transfer a domain when it's expired again that's the registrars rules not ours. Very sorry you're frustrated.

I might have continued with BluDomain when it came time to renew, however they were offering very low rates for first time customers and not extending those rates to established costumers. A little miffed and with a quick search I found plenty of free templates, and hosting options equal to what bludomain offers. I might have stayed with them had they extended those rates. Now 3 years later, I haven't had a domain with them but they still send me invoices for hosting regularly. I have sent multiple emails that all get acknowledged with a "thank you we will update our records". The site, email server, and all contents are all gone but they still ask for money.

Sorry, there is no way to give this company less than 1 star.

If you are in need of a website but NEVER any support, than this could be for you.
I still wouldn't if I were you.

They leave your site down for days.
They will take your site down for routine maintenance or server failure and then claim it is another matter, or blah, blah, blah...

I am pretty sure there are only 2 people working for the company.

Please whatever you do... go somewhere else

They have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They are scammers! I canceled my service 2 years ago due to the worst rude phone call with the owner when I needed help. They continue to send me a bill every year for $100 just hoping I will pay it. Stay clear!

The customer services in the very very worst I have experienced and when you actually let them know that, they pretty much laugh in your face, they sell what look like nice templates, but are they functional? Not so much, even the tutorials do not help, and the dozens of help tickets I sent were a waste of time. I asked for a refund in full and they told me "you are not getting any $ back"
I also noted I would write a negative review and they said they didnt care.
Stay away from bludomain!

I have been with Bludomain for 14 years now and their customer service has been deteriorating. I Typically receive a bill in January/February for my $100 hosting fee. This year it didn't come through and being away I didn't have much chance to look into it. Last night I received an invoice for double that amount wanting to pay for his year and next years hosting. In the morning I come to find my domain is down and they will not respond to my emergency tickets. I stuck with them after the hack in 2018 but I think this is the last straw.

It get zero stars. Why because they are liars and I refuse to do business with them ever again. In addition to lying to me about who owned my domain name they also lied to me when I asked them if I was allowed to have a second party edit my website for me. They told me that once I purchased the template I was free to make any necessary change that I wanted, and had the right to edit my site including having a someone go in and edit the actual code of the website. Wrong. They specifically code their site in such away that you cannot have access to the basic coding. Never use this site ever they are a scam.

I've been a customer of Bludomain since 2016 (this time around) and have kicked myself ever since. Everyone is right, the communication is non-existent and now, my site is gone- as in ITS BEEN ERASED, due to server issues. The problem was not communicated to their clients, instead they wait for you to notice on your own by losing business and wondering what the heck is going on. I have sent in numerous requests as to what the problem is and what to expect next. They have not responded once, only sent me a canned script of "being aware of the issue" with an apology. No solution. I am reporting them to the BBB and have written a request to sever all ties, including stopping any future billing. It's in writing, for whatever that's worth. To many (as I see here!) continuous billing seems to be a problem- even after sites are cancelled or dropped. I hope that's not the case here, we shall see. RUN FAR AWAY from this company.
