This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
When reaching out to customer support, I get different answers to what problem I am facing. Communication is not the best, information provided is inaccurate and not static, I have to contact you guys mulitple times to figure stuff out since one person says something and the other says something else.
It takes weeks to get an issue fixed unless it is a very simple one. I have had 4 go rounds with advanced Tech Support, and I'm not sure the issue is fixed yet.
Bluehost presented as a Wordpress supporting platform, but offers NO technical support now. I was able to pay $150 a month for support when I was creating my site. Now that is not available either.
Because my sites are on it. I am seriously considering moving to another Host.
I found the whole experience extremely confusing. I have quite a bit of experience making videos and editing using Premiere Pro, etc so Im not a beginner in those aspects. However, I had a lot of trouble figuring out what to do while making my website. I did watch a lot of the tutorials too btw.
It was recommended by a Youtuber
Experiencing many issues with the auto renewing option, then a second charge to transfer a domain from Go-Daddy to BlueHost. And when I call in it seems that the customer service has been outsourced to another country. That is un-American, please consider bring it back to the States so I can understand when talking to them.
I was searching for a Christian based company. And was very happy in the beginning, not so much now!
I say 5 stars...No complaints, really. Everything is easy to find and when I did need to speak to a Bluehost Agent, each person that assisted me was patient and answered all my concerns. Thank you for providing a great service!
Overall... 'Trouble', in one way or another. Customer service generally polite, friendly and try to help. But I have not had the smooth, trouble-free experience I expected when I signed up to Bluehost.
Your shared resources hosting is so terrible that even basic website solutions does not work - it is not accordingly to your marketing and customer expectations. Only way how to solve this issue (which is as you probably know, equal to not working business due to slow page load time) is to upgrade into dedicated resources - those are heavily overpriced compared to your competitors. Whole logic of luring customers for affordable hosting and then try to sell him overpriced product is not only annoying, but seen as a unethical manipulation to get customers into a corner where they simply have to pay. What to do: Make your cross-sells and up-sells more fair.
My site does not display a coming soon page, nor is this an easy to use drag and drop website builder. I was expecting a host with the tools and applications I had previously. The wordpress block system is not user friendly.
My previous host was ipage and it appears Bluehost acquired them.
I don't like clicking through promotional marketing screens to get to my account. I don't like receiving marketing emails. I don't like being asked to take surveys. This is yet another survey. I sort of regret signing up sometimes.
Simple request takes for assistance to make a purchase from the daskboad
Takes over an hour
Longer hold time on chat
Once you make your website and go back into your site it reverts back to the old original template. I have sent hours building a site only to have it revert back to the original. I have called in and had it fixed. However it again reverts back to the original template.
We constantly have issues with email. Since the Bluehost website has been updated we have had issues logging into the admin account as well as employee emails through the Bluehost login page. Bluehost says it's on our end but I have tried from other locations including my home and have the same issue. Somedays it works but most of the time it doesn't.
I had a problem with verifying my domain name and Bluehost helped us fix the problem quickly.
The ease of working with the platform.
Frustrating to get things processed. And there are errors on the way which requires phone calls. People are professional and nice. However, there was only one person out of five that seemed to know how to address issue.
1. I got into a 3-year contract when subdomains where still part of my package. You changed it unilaterally. That's not a trustworthy way of doing business.
2. Some of the times I needed help, the support was trying to get me off the chat/call as fast as possible, and/or where giving me the wrong (outdated) information. I didn't feel helped, I felt constantly sold-to, and on one occasion my webpage even got re-set to a different framework.
Because I'm still locked in a contract. But unless something seriously improves, I'm leaving by the end of it.
I have been using bluehost for years and recently there are just way too many upsells added in. They've made the site management so difficult to use and I have to decline upsells at every corner. Just let me manage my sites.
One again you guys have jacked up the price on me. I've been with you for... i dont even know how many years and always have to be on guard and frequently have my php versions messed up bringing down my sites... so many problems and now I have to figure out why I'm on some wordpress hosting package that I never asked for and how long I've been wasting money, again.
I starting to wonder.
Hi,
Did mention the fact that photos on our hosted site are not loading proper, take time to all load
The problem still persists
What can you do to change this, make our site professional again?
Thanks
Willie
It has been working well until this photo problem
The series of basic bluehost functions and building a site is very informative for the novice level that I am. Thanks
Time in business
I have been trying to get a refund for cancelled services for months! Apparently I have not been able to jump through/understand your hoops and it just gets more ridiculous with every communication. Worst experience dealing with a company ever. Everyone should stay away from bluehost! I am moving all of my business away from bluehost for sure. I want my $1019.40 money back NOW!
Apparently I have to add a payment method again to get a refund. Whatever!?!? Let’s see if I can make that happen with all your ridiculous requirements. Nothing goes smoothly dealing with bluehost. 😩
Updates you're making to your site need to be more tested before you roll them out to the client and you have to communicate with your customers when there are issues! There are bugs, and they are affecting my business. Had I not caught the issues, you would have never told me!.
I feel blue host has gone down in customer service.
I can't easily get ahold of English speaking representatives and I'm rather annoyed at a $2000 site I've had made which doesn't seem to be what I wanted
Because that’s where I host currently
I am constantly getting locked out of my account and having to call customer support to get help getting into my account. It takes lots of time out of my day and is very inconvenient. I am strongly considering a change of web host company.
I cannot figure out how to make this domain name end. The business connected to it has failed completely. This new 3 year automatic rollover charge is likely to bankrupt me because I am not technologically sophisticated and don't know how to prevent this from going through. If it is on the mastercard it will trigger a default that will be a financial disaster for my already ruined credit rating. I have never been able to figure out how to make wordpress and bluehost work because I spend all my time and energy trying to recover my covid tanked fledgeling b&b venture. This latest charge to my credit card will be the end of it.
The landing page for logging in sucks... there isn't an easy way to get to c panel. I have to click around to get to editing websites... and I cant use semrush's bot to analyze my site... which means I will be moving my websites off of bluehost so I guess you can say the rest is mute... continue to screw your customers
