This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
Dear Team,
I hope this email finds you well.
I wanted to provide some feedback on the interface we've been using. While it's aesthetically pleasing, I've found it to be slightly complicated, particularly when it comes to assigning custom names to folders. Additionally, I've encountered difficulty in assigning these folders to specific domains, and even if it's possible, the process seems overly complex.
I believe improving the usability of the interface in these areas could greatly enhance our efficiency and user experience. I'd appreciate it if we could explore potential solutions or improvements together.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
I have many years and 4 servers with you!
Tech support has deteriorated over the past several years. The hold music consists of three songs that play for hours on end. I have them memorized. If holding for a long time, I don't want to hear the same songs.
The domain renewal dates are listing under European conventions, so I can't tell whether I am looking at months or days in the second column. I just missed a renewal date because of this. Very annoying.
I chose it years ago.
I have used Bluehost for 23 years, and I had no trouble until I recommended to use Sitelock. I have had to chat 8 times in the last 3 weeks to get my A records pointed to the right place. Five days in a row I woke up with an error 22, and I spent a half-hour chatting.
Website has been in existence for decades. Blog for nearly as long. But blog developed an issue over a year ago. It didn't allow me to add anything, but the years of existing content was still accessible. I've been sick and haven't done anything about it. Now, the blog is totally inaccessible. I can't even get into it via my FTP app.
Had a problem with Bluehost technical advice because I changed my password in Bluehost and outlook emails would not work. They told me it was an outlook problem and not something they did. I hired a computer expert and he tracked down the problem to the changed mail password on bluehost. He also said they should have known to fix it. Next I decided to migrate my hosting to Go Daddy. Big problem. When I contacted bluehost who was hosting the site they said that ENOM had the password for migration. I called ENOM and they said the authorization code was with IPAGE/ owned by Bluehost. Called back to bluehost and somehow my website no longer worked. Called I page and they said they would send the authorization code. It has been 2 weeks, numerous phone calls and still no authorization code and website is a mess, which they say is not their fault. Funny thing is it worked for 12 years before I called them to migrate. Horrible experience.
Irrelevent question since companies change. Better put is why do you need a survey to tell you what you already know... Your technicians and service is really bad.
I am delighted that my past content is still here after lapsing for a short time (about one month). BUT, after restoring my account, I have had to call twice to fix an error preventing edits to the site due to incorrect configurations. The delay of weeks is frustration. It's a simple, one-page site. Help.
Because this is where I have the content from last year.
I need one very simple, flat web page. I want to put one link in the text for a questionnaire. I want to put one payment link in the text for people to pay me via PayPal. THAT'S ALL. None of the options seem to give me that. I'm struggling to make the Blog option work. I thought it would be simple and closest to my goal, but it's not going well. I'm frustrated.
You were recommended as a good value for basic domain and hosting services at decent pricing.
Ever since you migrated to Webpress from CPanel the ease of use of the site, the clarity of information, and the reliability of your site and services has degraded terribly. I regularly have things like auto renewal checked off for a reason get re added, there were multiple accounts created for me, which customer service couldn't understand at all both in how it happeend and in helping me with it, and even the way alerts were generated have been confusing and misleading for which account you're trying to contact me about, and on top of this the prices for hosting keep rising and with all this going on it seems to be in the wrong direction.
Well you have been my first host provider and ive been with you for close to what 20 years and I know im a beyond small time user but beleive in loyalty and a return on investment.
I was just told that my IP address was blacklisted. I provide support to over 25 domains for my customers and I cannot login into my own Blue Host account nor can I log into anyone of their accounts unless I go to a another location where there is a different Internet connection.
I didn’t. I’m an existing customer
I've had SO MANY issues with Bluehost. Last time my website went down, it took me 2 tries with customer service to get it back, and the second time they wiped all of my settings without re-adding them or letting me know. So my business email (where I make my money and run my life) wasn't receiving emails. They cut off my email service. Now my Google DNS tag is gone too.
I knew someone with a code.
You are just trying to rip off users. You're always leaving settings so it's tricky, so it's hard to avoid paying more. You treat your users like $#*!, like they're something to be exploited rather than support. Next time I'll try another service.
The person helping me requires it. But next time I won't
I have found the website builder to be difficult to use and navigate. The email hosting has been full of issues as well that are unresolvable by tech support.
I chose it because it was supposed to be user friendly.
I have had a ton of issues with this hosting site and anm unable to edit or change my website. I also get warnings constantly that the site will be shut down due to failed payment but im paid through 12/2026?! Very unimpressed!
Because I haven't changed services yet but am going to.
So, far, so good -- wonderblocks made the Word Press pursuit doable. I only rated 4 stars because BlueHost needs to work with their team more to ensure their familiarity with the various templates and be able to assist when contacted. Also, they should have their representative submit tickets to the various template owners for troubleshooting and not ask the client to perform that task (I only would have chosen the template because it was available through your site, so if you make it available, you should know about its bugs). Other than that, thanks for the ease of use.
I chose it through the Free Website Guys, be sure to thank them for their use of your domain/website creation services.
My site was reverted randomly to the day I signed up with you. None of the changes I've made since then can be restored. No explanation has been given as to how that could happen or why it happened. My site a records were pointed to a default IP and the SSL cert was removed. No explanation has been given as to how that happened. This is rediculous.
Wish I hadn't and may end up cancelling. Really poor support from people that don't speak english and don't know what's going on.
My assistant was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you.
I build Web-sites
I've always been able to login with my email address. Today all of a sudden I'm being forced to use a username, that I had to request for. Then the verification code doesn't arrive in SMS and instead is sent via a phone call. I generally don't answer phone calls from unknown numbers, so it took a couple of attempts.
My site has been four days in a row. Your techs say they have fixed it but obviously they don't know what they are doing. After four days my site is live again and then in the evening goes down again and is still down. Why DO YOU think you got 1 star? Not really rocket science is it?!
A huge mistake. Not one I am likely to repeat.
We have not had a good experience with Bluehost. It's very difficult to add new users, we are billed far in advance from when our services are due to renew and customer service is difficult to deal with. It often takes several times to resolve simple issues.
The message to start a online ecommerce business has not stopped popping up for me. I am not an online business and I can not find a "opt out" button. Also, I receive multiple plug-in updates to an email that I have long since updated with Blue host and still nothing goes to my formal business email, frustrating. Not to mention the fact that I will have to contact customer support again because I cannot log into my website to edit the pages... again.
Easy and simple plate form to work from, the only thing that causes a "hic-up" in the process so to speak is when you try to click and drag a photo in order to move it into position, it either wont move at all or will require you to click after it repeatedly until it decides to move. But, even with that "hic-up" the setup is still super easy and friendly to use for anyone, even myself who's never done anything like this in my life.
Simple and the price is right.
Wouldn't mind the add for privacy protection so much if the site was as easy to use as it used to be. It's also much less reliable hosting than it used to be. Emails don't always get forwarded and users often get a misdirected request error when accessing my site.
It is so hard to know how to navigate the site where to go to find how many sites are active what the keck I'm paying for and it is always confusing when I get an email telling me that I need to buy this or that or upgrade to this or that
A dcesigner sugested it
Site tools are very finicky. It's easy to cause cascading issues and hard to fix them. Right now my site is throwing off PhP errors because, I assume, of changes on your end as I haven't messed with it beyond making a new post in months.
While an initial error was ours (incorrectly entered email) this has still not been rectified. Access to our account has been consistently difficult despite contacting customer services more than once. Word Press is clunky and not intuitive. Unfortunately, we haven't had the best experience and would not at this stage recommend Bluehost or Word Press.
My last conversation with Michael, escalated support, was great. He repaired the issue. My website it up and running again and fully functioning. It took 3 attempts, but once I was referred to Michael, it all went smoothly.
The new way this is set up is confusing not liking it at all. Things that I was able to do with no issues prior are not easy anymore. I have been with you guys a very long time. This is the worst update you have had so far. It's almost as things are hidden and in different places. Not happy with it
