This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
The customer service is terrible; that's the only word I can think of. The domain privacy link hasn't worked since I signed up. Every time I call, and I have called numerous times, I get a different answer from each person. Even when I ask for a manager. After signing up with you, I was told that is a huge problem and that's why people switch to another company, which is what I plan to do, soon.
Had to redo a lot of content on my wordpress-built site when I transferred it and the original offer of help from Bluehost, well: the chat was useless, I just got directed to a help page I'd already seen. The live representative phone call that was scheduled there at the beginning of my signing on didn't happen (no call at scheduled time, and two hours later a rep' called mostly to market services I don't need. But otherwise, seems all right...
My website is down. When I attempt to open it, I receive several error messages: "Deprecated" then a lot of code. I don't know what is happening as I am paid in full for my hosting account. I cannot reach customer service to get tech support. Frustrated and shocked about it.
Tech Support
Customer support is in names you cannot type and so slow I sat for minutes in between responses and never got anywhere why I have a $216 pending charge for blue host.
I didn’t. I tried you guys and your Wordpress site that is so easy to use is anything but. I used another place and built a site in 10 minutes. I only want my domain and nothing else from you guys
I'm having a lot of trouble getting my site to update and I often have trouble even accessing bluehost (not today, but frequently throughout the time I've used the service).
But it's way too expensive for me to renew it again... but I'm sure in a future will work with you guys.
Always solving my problems
I've tried several hosting services and this by far the best 👌
Constantly needing to contact support for issues with my sites. Support is nice but they ignore some questions and mess other stuff up, like putting a slash after "home/" making my page not work.
I have 3 websites and I was charged for 7 times. My experience has been terrible. Stealing from your customers is a bad idea! I want my money returned to me today for the 4 websites that I do not have.
I thought it was a good service. I was wrong. You are defrauding customers.
The support team doesn't know what they're talking about.
Support team made changes in my account without my consent.
The international number doesn't work.
Waste of time and money, resulting in a loss of circa £600.00
Thanks for helping me access my account and add email services
Some quirks of Bluehost is preventing a 3rd Party platform to accept settings to make our emails Google friendly.
Helpful and quick service.
Generally I am satisfied with your services, but in the last 8 months I have had many accommodation problems with you, problems that are not resolved quickly, three or four interactions to resolve the problem. Currently, all my pages are down, this is the second time this has happened in two days, I had an interaction with the customer service department, they told me that they were going to investigate and that they were going to send me an email informing me what had happened, the email never arrived. Now 48 hours later I have exactly the same problem, all my pages are down. In the hosting configuration I also have problems, when I install WordPress through its installer, Divi or Woocommer does not work for me. Now when I do it through those Sophoculas in the control panel I never have problems, it accepts me and everything works. Linking my store with Printful.com or similar sites also has problems. These things didn't happen a year ago.
Because we have problems and I'm going to see if support fixes the problem
Difficult to find answers to questions and how to contact BlueHost to get answers. For example, I have been working with FullStaq Marketers program. When I started, I accessed Wordpress through Bluehost. Then apparently something changed and I can't find how to access Wordpress anymore through BlueHost. What changed?
There is no direct link for me to manage my site. It would help if you add a direct link to cPanel and maybe some other things. At the moment every time I have to go through a long process of actually managing my site.
Also, I have been struggling to use/access the database. Whichever username/password I use does not work. A bit frustrating.
Wanted to try a different company
I've had continuous problems since migrated my website here. Some has been solved some hasn't. I've had to contact the customer service multiple times with the same issue. My emails don't work and everytime I call I have different answers. I even had someone being very rude telling me to delete a website that wasn't mine.
Had very good reviews on Forbes and other places and I thought it was perfect for my small staring company.
BlueHost has not managed my personal identification information properly. I submitted a license to verify my identity, and someone mistakenly used the issue date as the expiration date and disqualified the request to update my email address. Meanwhile, they are using my email, name, and phone number to request confirmation of my identity. An unauthorized person's email is still on my profile. BlueHost has not updated it despite numerous attempts to do so.
I asked how to redirect a domain, and the rep did something that I found out four days later doesn't work. I tried to purchase hosting, and when I tried to remove unwanted features, my cart emptied entirely. I noticed a spelling error on the page too. Get me out of here!
Years ago, Bluehost was strongly recommended by Michael Hyatt. I remembered that.
For the most part, it's pretty easy to set everything up and maintain. However, my site goes offline for about 15-30 minutes each week and I can't figure out why. When I ask customer service, they don't know either.
It was easy setup and recommended.
I mistakenly entered the inxorrect name in the domain name field when setting up my shared server. I have corrected it myself several times and also have called in and asked a bluehost associate to correct it. In either case, the domain name continues to revert back to the original incorrect domain name that I entered when setting up the account. The same thing happened with my mx records. They reverted back to bluehost's default mx records multiple times despite me changing them to the correct mx records. This caused the email to stop working and many emails were not received as a result.
The service is great but I do not like how they trick customers with special offers and then double the offer next round of subscription. I think it is a devious way to solicit business.
The website interface is not as user friendly as it used to be. A pop up menu opens each time I log in. Customer service technical support used to be on point previously. It appears now that most of it is out sourced not in the U.S.
Presently have site hosted on this account.
Web builder is down way too often and when it goes down, it generally takes weeks to get back up and running which is a major inconvenience for my business, as i need to update my website almost daily.
Bluehost was great for quite a few years but this last year has been the biggest headache. Terrible customer service, i was given fake support emails and when i confronted the next agent they told me they don't exist. I have spent hours sitting on chats waiting for responses just to have the solution barely be solved even though it's been done before. This is on top of having my website deleted by someone as well as all the login issues I have daily.
I'm not one to complain but I have just felt so done with Bluehost lately and it is not the same as it used to be. I'll likely be going somewhere else when possible.
New layout have many issues. Also support staff are not good. They are giving wrong updates. We ask them to do changes on server about disable and enable or installation, they told us that we have done that please check after a hour or few hours, and when we are checking after time given then after its not done, it is working like before. Support team are not giving correct solution. We need to contact support multiple times for that.
I have old product which was in Bluehost with old layout and its stable so I choose bluehost.
I hate the stupid popup about "open your online store" whenever I log into the control panel. I don't want to open an online e-store. Stop offering that.
Also, the SpamExperts filtering doesn't work very well. I get way too many emails that are clearly spam and/or phishing.
