This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
I used to be able to log in with my email address and password, but all of a sudden it started requiring a user id that I didn't even know I had, so I had to do the "forgot user id" email thing. Never had this problem before. Also, the fact that every time I log in I have to click "No, thank you" on the stupid upsell and then it takes me three clicks to get to my wordpress site has been annoying for a while.
We have been partnered with Bluehost for over five years; however, we are currently encountering significant challenges with their email service. These issues are having a substantial impact on our company's operations.
I continue to have issues with bluehost having failed to renew a domain despite having charged me for it. It has taken over a week to try to get a corporate domain working - in the interim I have been unable to receive any written communications. This is not reasonable.
I would not choose bluehost again.
Since you change the site's interface, it becomes almost impossible to get anything done.
You don't fix something that's not broken, unless to improve it.
What was done was make it unusable, especially for me who have been using BLUEHOST for almost a decade.
I will suspend all service related to you. I sent to migrate the few clients I had on this server, I will not make 1 payment to renew even if they give me after that payment, 10 years free, bad technical support service
It's simple, my website has be deleted and I pay for your services just for the domain. And it's real a big change to redirect it to another page. That all. I very...
I don't understand why you added a login when I already had an email and two way authentication to login. I was almost locked out of this account and I have been locked out of another account for another website because you guys keep changing the login criteria. What's the point of it being safer if I can't even login because of your stupid policy to continuously change the method of log in?
You're charging for privacy even though you e been hacked a few times and my account password HS been brut forced and it's unclear what you're actively doing to keep my website, that I pay you to host, actually running.
I have been receiving almost on weekly bases spam emails in my email purporting to contacting my school using the "contact us" feature on the school's website
Horrible experience with Bluehost. You messed up my website and in turn my business. I do not even appear professional without my site. Bluehost has been trying to fix my issue for 4 weeks and continuously keep telling me 24-48 hours to fix it but they have been saying it for 4 weeks now. Horrendous experience with no resolve yet.
I will never use bluehost again or recommend the same.
I have a website that is constantly down. I call and it gets fixed and then its down again. In addition, you've raised your domain registry rates and hosting a ton since I started with Bluehost. They're no longer competitive.
It's a little difficult to learn the difference between Bluehost and Wordpress. Maybe there are some tutorials I'm unaware of. I don't think its a bad reflection on Bluehost, though. I admit that I've been working on this only sporadically for months. I'd probably have a better understanding if I could dedicate a solid week or two to it.
I manage 9+ websites and today and another time this week all 9 sites were down for approx 10 minutes. Spent 30+ min in chat session with your Rep and he could not find any issues. Please have this resolved else you will force me to move my webistes to another hosting company.
I spoke to live chat 4 times to get my domains assigned to my hosting plan. Answers varied and it still hasn't been resolved and had to be escalated - answer still outstanding.
Once got into control panel I'd like to see advanced panel to access things as we used to. Unfortunately, I can't find my way around to advanced settings, setting root password, generating secont cpanl access to specific domain. All gone
It looks like many years of Bluehost use is useless now. It was my mistake to choose. Will be looking for a serv er, I could manage with advanced settings without moving around panel to panel as Bluehost used to have
After the last update everything is messy, the whole menu is not even organize anymore, all takes more time to find where the options are, and is not user friendly. Get back to the old model or make better UX changes because right now is not
Overall pretty good. Somethings I am still having a hard time figuring out and making my site what I want without having to pay for a bunch of themes or add-ons etc. It gets expensive!
Heard about it through a colleague
It is irritating to log-in into my account and instead of landing at my account's home page, I'm marketed with a web page trying to sell me your web services. Please revise your software to direct my log-in to my account without your marketing.
My business website has been down all day and the extent of assistance from Bluehost was that I was told to verify my license for a plugin. I am a business owner and not a web developer. When I asked what if my site being down had cost my company tens of thousands of dollars in potential sales I was told Bluehost is not responsible for third party plugins. My site has been the same for several years and has not changed or been modified at all.
The Bluehost dashboard has become increasingly unmanageable. It gets harder and harder to accomplish simple tasks forcing me to call customer support to accomplish things such as a 303 redirect that I used to be able to do myself.
I have multiple site on bluehost
Multiple glitches that support cannot seem to correct.
I have multiple sites noted as Unverified.
So far I'm still developing my site. There were enough themes and templates to get started. I am finding it easy to adapt them to what I envision. I started out installing different editing packages but ended up uninstalling them and just using the built in editor from bluehost. I felt that the 3rd party products were more focused on upselling features that I could already access with the built in editor
Price and ease of use. I watched many reviews on many different wordpress hosts and Bluehost seemed like the best value... and so far so good.
I can't express enough how grateful I am to have discovered Bluehost for my hosting needs. From the moment I signed up, their seamless interface and intuitive tools made setting up my website a breeze. But what truly sets Bluehost apart is their unparalleled customer support. Whenever I've encountered an issue or needed guidance, their team has been there every step of the way, offering prompt and effective solutions with a warmth and professionalism that's truly commendable. With Bluehost, I not only have a reliable hosting provider, but also a dedicated partner in my online journey. Thank you, Bluehost, for being the best option for me, and for always being there to lend a helping hand.
Today, I chose Bluehost because of its unmatched reputation for reliability and outstanding customer support. As someone who values seamless website management and prompt assistance, Bluehost stood out as the clear choice. Knowing that I can rely on their user-friendly platform and knowledgeable team gives me the peace of mind to focus on what matters most: growing my online presence. With Bluehost, I feel confident that I'm not just investing in hosting services, but in a trusted partner dedicated to my success.
When things go wrong, the teams are not helpful in sorting it out and it takes a lot of pushing and time on our side to follow up on every little aspect. Not only did you leave us with no website and emails earlier this week due to errors on your side, but we are still waiting to find out why it happened and how we will be compensated appropriately. We lost business due to this and also we wasted so much time pushing to get everything back online - was not a good experience.
Terrible customer service, my domain was transferred (Sept 2023) and is still unavailable in my account. Every time, I was told it takes time to show up. I am still unable to repoint my host server to Cloudflare. There is no option for a hardware security key in 2-factor authentication.
Originally switched from GoDaddy based on Cloudflare's advice - big mistake.
My tier 2 ticket got canceled because I did not respond within 2 hours... it was not specified anywhere within the email or anywhere on the Bluehost website that I needed to respond within 2 hours. Then everytime I called to talk about my issue, I spent over 40 minutes on hold during the whole duration of my call with no resolution.
