This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
Forced to create a pin with a default character count disallows me to use a common pin I like to use across the board thereby I forget and have to go thru hell getting access to what you claim is "MY account"
I am done with all these online account barriers I cannot control because it is a headache and takes up my personal time to appease your rule.

Though I've been paying for hosting the last several years, a majority of the time the website is hosted with a different company. The data is on another server. I need to move my google workspace, and remove my hosting from bluehost, because we have a customized website not using any of the features offered on bluehost. I would keep my google workspace with bluehost, if they were willing to let me continue without usage of the hosting services.
Incomplete system, untested. Prone to obvious errors that wouldn't have gotten through testing. Zero confidence and trust in the ability of your systems. Bait and switch marketing strategies the list goes on

From someone who had no experience working with website design to having a somewhat functional website this experience has been great. I know it could be better and I work a little at time on the site while putting out content.
Wordpress and Bluehost has made this process so much easier. With top notch help articles to easy and friendly customer service. I am so glad I went with Bluehost and Wordpress.
I started with another company and was struggling and then I should have had a free SSL cert but it wasn't and they wanted me to pay for that. So I looked into different options and Bluehost had fantastic reviews. THe customer service team made it easy and helped so much getting things switched over and off the ground.
Dedication means nothing to you! I've been with you since your domains cost nearly nothing. (Since around 2008)> Now you have jacked everything up so damn high it's ridiculous. Now I have to pay extra for emails? WTH? Everything that once was, is no longer. I will be looking for another hosting service. I can't take your price hikes any longer. You've become so greedy, just like everyone else! Good luck to you when everyone goes elsewhere! Staying with you all these years got me nothing!
I had no choice, you shut down my websites and email addresses, then held me hostage to pay an absorbent amount in order to put my site back online. I would have chosen anyone but Bluehost but I didn't want to lose any customers. Shame on you for being so greedy! You're not for the people, just yourselves!

Harder to use the large boxes with no preview per site. Better just list down the sites that i own, with clickable links going to my last links that i have visited
I do not like this new login system., and I certainly do not like trying to be sold unnecessary stuff when I try to login to my hosting panel. Going to be seriously considering moving my hosting.
Used for hosting for several years but at renewal time prices increased significantly and they wouldn't give a better offer. Now that I've changed hosts they have started to offer new hosting plans at 20% of the cost on the renewal so clearly they could have offered it earlier to keep me as a customer. New host also has new features and doesn't charge extra for them. Site downtime has also been a regular problem over the last year with no compensation or explanation
To remove my final domain from Bluehost as price to renew is too high and regular site downtime
I like this place because I was with register/web.com and they were far too expensive for my needs, I came here mostly to hang onto domain names. I had a website here but you wanted to charge me far too much so that's gone now, basically I just need domain name renewal, and maybe a 1 page static website to show I own the names.

Many bugs, sometimes support breaks stuff, slow performance. Overall the willingness is there and apart from the wait times for serious support, and the accidental breaking things, the support level is generally good

The chat response is too slow sometimes, and the representatives often claim that they've solved the problem, but after I rated them, I would find that new problems were caused by them, I don't think some of them are
doing things carefully and responsibly.

You have too many nag screens trying to upsell your customers who just want to make a payment.
Plus the payment process now has many more steps than before you changed it.
Plus it's very irritating when you automatically add a $200 + hosting fee into the shopping cart.
These are shabby money grubbing actions - - If you don't change it I will start rating you one star on public rating websites. You are wasting your customer's time. And if you don't respond to customer's opinions they will leave in droves.

Bluehost has been an horrible company to be attached to for the past 10 years. There was never a time I was happy with their service. You get stuck with these hosting companies due to the challenge of switching providers. I finally made the effort to backup all my sites and databases and finally escape their inept clutches.
God what a pain it has been trying to deal with this company. They are not proactive at all. Their support is very unskilled. They pull every trick in the book to prevent you from leaving. There are so many competitors with much better services that have been created over the years. Im happy to be with a capable company now in hostinger. They do everything right. I very strongly suggest not going with bluehost. You will regret it!

I don't understand why you have a chat box if you don't even respond to it. You guys claim you're there 24/7 but when I attempt to get assistance via the chat box, it goes without answer. Your customer service deserves less than a star but since you don't have a negative rating, I gave you the lowest this would alow.
I ask myself that often.
My site is not live. The backup is not installed. I have had numerous email communication with BlueHost Technical Support and no action has been executed to resolve and restore my site.
In addition, you blame the client when the issue is with you as a provider.
This situation has been on-going for over a week. Terrible service. Terrible support.
I will not be choosing BlueHost in future.

The control panel is cumbersome. I don't like that an account was created for me with a random series of characters so that I had to change everything in the WordPress installation to my name. I do not like that you can't access the core WordPress account to manage the password there.

There's been much confusion on numbers to call and who to speak to from your representatives. Yesterday I was passed between several reps and phone numbers until finally someone was able to assist me. Also, I requested changes to my website on February 15 and as of yesterday none had been made.
Not happy with the service, Bluehost is constantly changes prices, packages. I have created an account and paid for unlimited websites - now I get only 5 and they ask for more money for the same services. Website GUI is also constantly changing and making things harder to find, as if they force you to to "buy" the ulimited, full, mega extra package for 1k+ USD per year.

I've been trying to get help to set up my webpage for a while. I end up on chats that go for a long time. 2 days ago, after explaining myself for a while, it was arranged that someone would call me the next afternoon. I waited until after 6, but no phone call. Another chat with a lot of apologies. A call was arranged for the next morning. I waited all day. The phone number was definitely correct. Also, each and every chat is supposed to end with a survey. The chat assistants ask if you can wait, sometimes three or four times, but no survey ever arrives. I think 3 minutes is long enough to wait before ending the chat. Often I'd like to compliment the chat staff. Do their ratings affect their work assessments? If so, it's very unfair on them.
