This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
My website, BlackBeltBanker.com, kept getting redirected to a malicious website, even after I updated Wordpress and plugins as Blue Host support personnel advised.
I have been using bluehost couple years ago.
Access to the free info, great. Only, things have been upgraded, hence academy info would serve if it's based on the upgraded stuff we're interfacing with.
Blogger recommended.
One star for a couple reasons: (1) you make me click through a page trying to get me to upgrade every time I log in instead of letting my go straight to Control Panel (where I'm trying to go) (2) you keep showing me pop-up surveys even though I've clicked "not interested' multiple times. Try to focus on the customer - not on your marketing needs.
I didn't. I chose it years ago. But I may be un-choosing Bluhost when my contract expires if you keep focusing on yourselves instead of clients

This experience with Blue Host has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE! My website was deleted due to non-payment (which I was unaware of). NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever before it was canceled then deleted.
The biggest issue I have had is with building the website. It seems to be very difficult to change things and update post. Between trying to use Elementor and the blue host editing tools things dont seem to work. I.e. The about page isn't automatically linked to the default about page so I have to jump in and out of pages grabbing links to get things working properly. Additionally, I have had nothing but problems trying to get a news letter sign up to work properly. It seems to get stuck with blue etc. I chose to use Blue host because of feed back from others that promoted the product. Since using Blue host I have gone more gray and lost hair due to frustration. Customer service is hit or miss as well.
No Help document for creating a new website. Shopify and Etsy are a lot easier to build a website.
Too much advertising of plug-ins, etc. Please focus on customers.
I had to hire a web designer to build my website only because I can't figure out how to use Word Press and tools here.
FYI. I built my commerce website on Shopify and Etsy without problems.
IDK. I am reconsidering it.
At the moment I am satisfied with the service, the only thing I understand that needs to be improved are the server crashes that were very frequent and this greatly affects the websites and leaves losses because the vast majority of their clients live off their websites.

I've been a customer for many years and customer service has declined significantly over the past couple years. I frequently require multiple calls now to correct simple things. In the past a single call/chat would get it resolved. Sometimes the chat feature doesn't even work - I've been cut off, stuck in limbo, and redirected to random Bluehost pages so even the ability to get in touch doesn't always work consistently.
I'm starting to wonder...Been a customer so have stayed, but don't know how much longer I will honestly.
I have had issues with this account since the beginning. First it was finding support for the website- every time I needed help- I was referred to the site building department. I understand if I needed someone to build/design, I'm asking why the templates provided are not working on my site that you provide. Then the annual billing, every year around this time, my email and website stop working for 2-4 days. Every year, its currently not working and when I called in the lady got frustrated that I needed further explanation of DNC and why if my account is set to renew in July would my site be down in March. As it has done every YEAR! Now I'm waited for my site to be up so that I can continue business- telling clients 'I don't know why i'm not receiving your email.' WHEN IN ACTUALITY MY HOSTING COMPANY NEEDS TO 'FLIP A SWITCH' OR 'DIG DEEPER INTO MY ACCOUNT' OR 'ITS BECAUSE YOUR TOKEN IS DIFFERENT THAN PROVIDED' OR 'DNC' OR 'ANNUAL MAINTENANCE'
I chose you 3 years ago and it has not been an enjoyable ride. I just wish someone from your retention department would reach out to me and assure me that this is the last time I will have to deal with this, because we don't want to lose you as a client and we know it has been difficult not being able to do business with the services that you trusted to run your company with.

Chat host helped my through in the end but the whole experience was unnecessary as it seems the bluest "system" changed my user ID randomly which caused a whole lot of unnecessary confusion. Since the "system" changed my ID, it seems (according to my chat host) that the "system" cannot be corrected in house.

I had a terrible experience trying to cancel my membership/subscription today. Instead of answering my questions and helping me to cancel my memberships/subscriptions, the agent instead kept asking me all kinds of questions and didn't direct me properly. Also, there is no direct link to help you cancel.
You keep changing settings for my site which is making it impossible to use my blog composition software. I have to call and you say you don't know what I'm talking about but 30 minutes later the problem goes away. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING TO CALL YOU ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.

I have the forced landing page trying to drive me to buy products. I also cannot get to the cpanel because of the poort design of the slider will not let me scroll down enough to see the link the cpanel. The cpanel should be in the left navbars.

I've worked with Bluehost for 15+ years, and this is the worst service I've ever had with BlueHost. People drowned out the first person I spoke with, talking so loud that I could not hear the person I was speaking. He spoke to me as if I were a nearly-born child while repeatedly asking him to repeat himself because I could not hear him. The direction given to me on how I needed to service myself. Your service was non-existent.
One of my websites that was created on Bluehost 15+ years ago disappeared.
Have sent many emails to BlueHost.com asking to cancel the order I made immediately after ordering. No replys. Called accounting and they couldn't figure it out either. Had Chat help me and they said they did, but not.
Now I am being billed for that same payment I made in Jan. 2024 again this month. It said it was automatic. I again replyied that I had already paid for the extention of www.pony-chincoteague.com in January 2024. SSL
And last year I found out that two other smaller web hosting companies have also been into my business. And they have been billing me also, right along with BlueHost.com
O am being charged a fee for a service I never asked for, called customer service for when I saw you were going to charge me for, & they cancelled. Today, I was charged $2.49 for this. Sha is the person that I spoke with.

The new user interface is a giant step backward. It's hard to find things intuitively, every time I log in I get an ad for things I've had for *years* before I can get to my dashboard, support has gone rapidly downhill in the last year or two. I used to love and endorse Bluehost, but I'm looking at new providers.

VPS, what a laugh, it wasn't moving, constantly falling, suspended and whatnot. I moved to a another service, no VPS, the website flies, no downtimes and I pay a fraction of the price.

Asked 3 separate times for MX records to be fixed after installing spam experts and losing send/receive from all IMAP accounts... Nobody could help. I fixed it myself. I also asked for Spam experts to be cancelled and it has not. I am still getting charged yet have no mx records pointing to Spam Experts because it stuffed everything up to start with. Pretty poor service.
I am considering going elsewhere.
