This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
Just issues site speed and SSL not updating in time so that it doesn't affect site integrity. A lot of robot txt so many posts from the beginning we're not searchable. My site was not being crawled, and so, not "seen," and I didn't know. It really set me back.
Wordpress. Moved from GoDaddy website builder, which was outdated at the time.
I am trying to change my primary e-mail address: I did it yesterday with a customer service person on the phone with me, but today (>24 hrs later) it still hasn't changed. Also the new address I entered did not change.
I don't think it works.
I am trying to change something on my account profile. Just like I tried yesterday.
There is still outsourcing going on with your customer service helpers. When I called with a question or problem, the person speaking was hardly understandable. I felt bad having to have them repeat themselves like 3 times for almost everything they said. Hire some people who speak southern English... not an asian, hispanic or foreign dialect. That is why I left Go Daddy and moved to Blue Host. All of their workers spoke with some foreign dialect whom I could never understand AND could never help to solve my problems with their build system.
Seemed to be a good price for the services.
It started out really good several years ago, but last couple of years have been horrible getting anything done. Customer service reps are all on a different page and takes too long to resolve a small problem.
The layout is extremely confusing. Maybe this isn't the fault of Bluehost, but rather of my own lack of technical skills. I was hoping to get a blog up and running before now but that proved to be much more challenging.
I needed to find a way to connect a Mailchimp to a website that would feature a guide to Southeastern North Carolina. This eventually connects to my own website and contact information to bring new customers to me.
Patient and understanding of my problem, the representative solved my issue in one call.
Hosting at a reasonable cost and an excellent support system.
I changed computers so my user ID and passwords were not on auto.
Bluehost is constantly trying to make a buck off me by unnecessarily upgrading me to plans or offering me additional services I don't want. Please leave me alone, I don't want your stuff, if I did, I'd let you know.
Cheapest at the time. Reconsidering because of all the spam
When I log in - as a paying customer I have to navigate BS pop ups prompting me to do things I don't want. It used to be so simple and easy to use BH. I hate logging in anymore. Long time customer here...
I have to renew something
I could easily assign new domains to folder under my main account. Now I cannot do that, and I need to contact support to have them assign new domain. And the last support chat didn't work out. I cannot still access my new domains
Not sure why 'Sukruth' took a long time to identify the problem with my site. I figured out the problem while he purposely delayed our interaction. All it kept doing was stalling with 'im sorry'' and 'don't be tensed' comments. It was a super easy fix that I figured out.
Most times when I try to access my site to make a tiny content edit, the entire Bluehost Website Builder won't work unless I get on a chat with customer support and they troubleshoot for an hour. It's incredibly frustrating and a terrible customer experience. It makes me want to just rebuild my website with a different company that is more reliable.
It is not the hosting I bought, they changed it without asking to a wordpress hosting, they limited all the options, the email fails, it is no longer the unlimited pro, I can no longer add domains, they are forcing me not to renew and move to another provider that is more formal

Completely useless and obnoxious chat that auto loads.
Account management is a mess.
Domain management is far less intuitive
I know I've come across other frustrating aspects of the new interface, they're just not coming to mind
I did not choose bluehost today. I chose bluehost years ago and was very pleased with the hosting package and the cpanel back end. I'm not a fan of the new interface.
I've been having issues with accessing with my WordPress site, but no one can fix it. I kept getting answers that state there's nothing wrong on your end. I'm really frustrated. I've been patient trying to get the issue resolved. It's been a week now.
I've been with Bluehost since last year. I didn't have any issues until a week ago. When I tried to access WordPress, it would give me an error message about SSL.
As a novice, it is difficult to understand all the different options on each screen. I will need to study further just how to even get my site up and running before renewal due in July. Otherwise, I will be canceling and attempt a different route.
I chose Bluehost last July 2023 through research on the internet as to which was the best to go with. I was unable to complete set up after being locked out several times and in need of your help line. They were very helpful, but once I got back into my sight, all I had set up at that time was lost in the process & locked out again. Very frustrating.
Every time I go to work on my site it takes me an hour just to get logged in. By the time I am logged in I don't have time to work on my site! Super frustrating! This time I tried resetting my password, got no emails for reset. Did the chat, they unlocked my login then sent reset emails. Still didn't get any email resets. Tried resetting myself again after having had it unlocked by the chat person. Tried twice on the second attempt it gave me the option of phone text and that worked. Frustrating!
Suggested for Wordpress.
I've contacted you multiple times and spent hours attempting to update my DMARC policy so my marketing emails can reach my audience. Over and over I'm told "we're working on it" and yet, it never is completed. It's been months - how many weeks can it possibly take?
No choice. I pay you already. As soon as I can afford to migrate my site, I definitely will
I really haven't had the best time with you guys. You guys are helping but then it feels like you are only given a part of the information and when the issue hasn't been solve you realise that there are more or the information you were given wasn't all of it!
Unfortunately, we have experienced numerous errors and problems that are still not resolved after contacting the support time, now 5x's in one week. We paid for a site migration that was blotched, even though both sites were with Bluehost. Then, told that we had to pay for another migration in order for them to fix the issues. Then, when we went ahead and fixed it ourselves, the website is not having issues with the http. We called to ask them to fix it, told that they did and to wait 5 hours for the site to load correctly. It has now been almost 24 hours and it is still not fixed.
I'm having financial difficulties as a freelance designer, and every time I log in to my Bluehost account, I'm constantly being pushed to upgrade my plan. I originally had an unlimited plan, but now I'm receiving warnings about running out of storage. I am considering moving to GoDaddy hosting to remove all of this craziness. Bluehost changes its features frequently and plans to extract more money from its customers. You are a business, so I understand about turning a profit, but I would put more value on serving the customers where they are rather than for extra profit. I'd rather have a solid customer base recommending your Bluehost hosting than try to earn a quick profit for a quarterly margin.
Because I already have a plan/account setup. I am considering leaving for GoDaddy hosting this coming year.
I have had problems since I migrated my website three months ago with my site. During the migration, I had to call every day for over 2 weeks to get the migration completed. Because they didn't turn something on and now. My website is all screwed up. Because a migration team did something wrong and the customer support cannot answer any questions. They can't even give me a phone number to call or direct email to reach these people. I paid for the migration and it was a complete waste of money. I wish I'd never switched over.
I've been stuck without my domain that I have paid for, for 4 days now. Initially it would be 1-2 days, then 3-4 days, now 8 days. I've been without my domain now for almost 3 weeks because of Bluehost and zero resolution. If you're on the fence about getting their service just don't do it, go with someone else. This is insane.
I have no choice at this point.
I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WEB DESIGN but had an idea what I wanted our site to look like.
This young lady took the time to LISTEN to what I had to say, not rushed me, but helped me to visualize my thoughts and implemented them to what I think is PREFECTION! I've called Staff Members, Family & a few close friends to critique our NEW SITE and, NOT ONE NEGATIVE comment! Very unusual for my FAMILY, Staff and close friends. They ALWAYS express themselves very openly!
MANY MANY THANKS to MY DESIGNER! And I emphasize MY DESIGNER! She completely knew what I NEEDED, not what I thought I WANTED, BUT WHAT I NEEDED and SHE PRODUCED IT!
THANK YOU AGAIN YOUNG LADY! BlueHost made the RIGHT DECISION when they CHOSE YOU!, or did YOU CHOOSE THEM? BOTH of you are WINNERS! Our Site is Beautiful and Functional! If I'm granted one wish by the BLUEHOST Design Family, it would be that YOU WOULD CONTINUE TO BE THE DESIGNER to make any additions and or changes to our site. Would that be too much for an ol' man to WISH FOR?
THANK YOU AGAIN YOUNG LADY FOR MAKING US LOOK BETTER THAN WE THINK WE ARE!

Paid for migration process has been a nightmare. Nearly 2 months and still not done. Support has been slow, lacking and requiring me to put in much time, effort, energy and resources despite me paying for it.
Lower cost than other host we have, but you get what you pay for with Bluehost.
Tech support was professional and quickly resolved my issues. Great customer support
Quick response to chat. Quickly resolved my concerns fully
