This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
Signed up with Bluehost through an affiliate. Affiliate made it sound super easy to start your own site. Found out afterwards, the information she was providing was very outdated (4 to 5 year old information) which left us, inexperienced newbies, stranded. When asked the affiliate how to fix an issue or how to do it, we were told, "oh, you must be doing something wrong" and did not provide any further information. Was informed by Bluehost that they update their site/information every couple of months. We are very upset as we feel we were scammed by the affiliate just so she can get paid. Now, we are required to pay a fee to Bluehost, to receive guidance on how to set up the site. Which we think is very unfair. Bluehost needs to be made aware that their affiliates are scamming people.
While I would Bluehost a very reliable web host over the years, here is my reason for withholding an otherwise deserved five star rating: The changes to the layout and navigability of Bluehost.com are sometimes unnerving, more clear design decisions to help your clients get to the important pages for site maintenance (like cPanel) would be helpful and appreciated.
Constant problems logging in, email goes down if you delete a site you thought was not connected to the email... like everything about this company and UI/UX is WRONG and it has messed with my business a LOT.,
BlueHost is the worst thing ever! I've had them for over 8 years and ignored the errors they've made over the years until they switched one of my domains to the hosting domain. I paid my monthly fee for the past 8 years. I logged into my account yesterday and they deleted at least 6 websites, I have no access to my emails, all my business banking are linked to my emails. My clients cannot reach me. It's just a nightmare. The representatives are subpar and doesn't have any idea what they are doing.
Bluehost Support was always great and I admire that! But the changes for the subscriptions announced by Management was really a hassle to us developers, I had to migrate 15 websites (2 weeks of work) and keep only 10 for my unlimited web pro subscription that I thought it would never change on renewal! I still need to migrate more websites to achieve the terms requirement of 200,000 inodes/files on server! Hope this strategy doesn't shake the company foundation because it might cause customers to halt their accounts and move to competitors. I believe in Bluehost but please keep in mind and heart your Customers.
I choose it because I am an old and loyal customer to Bluehost and I thank them for their renewal discount! Hope things will get better and not harder for customers at Bluehost.
Data protection is something you should provide with any service to avoid any legal liability. Other services offer that. And as my business is shrinking, I will have to switch to a provider that doesn't charge for simple automated extras.
In the past, I have used Bluehost and recommended its services to others. I have three new websites launching this year (one next month). Not sure I'll be using Bluehost or referring to others.
Bluehost allowed our domain to be sold without our consent. The Legal department and Abuse Department has been radio silent on the issue. Their tech support closed cases without it being resolved. Their tech support suggested to us that another support technician at Bluehost was involved in the theft.
It's a real comfort to know if I have a problem or issue you can reach out to a real person and solve it. My old hosting service you had to submit a ticket and wait and wait and 1/2 the time didn't get to the issue at hand. If I need help here, it's just a phone call away and 2 times so far, the issues are solve immediately!

I had to call multiple times to get a very basic email issue resolved. Your support kept sending me to other vendors when all you needed to do was check a box. Either poor training, poor management, or both.
Because my client chose you. I didn't.
Basically, the customer service chat is awful: always ready to kick you off and close the conversation if you just miss replying for a few mins.
Many iterations are therefore needed to solve problems. All this is a waste of time
It is both over whelming and too simple. I know what I want to do, I just can't figure out how you think, so I can do it. And I really do not want to get into yet another subscription service for your peeps to do it for me.
I cannot upload the SEO premium zip file. It give me a message saying the file is incompatible. I cannot set up email on my iPhone, iPad, or Mac. It says I have not provided a password for email, but I have. I paid $2000 for someone to design my site, but the cart doesn't work, I have no options for my products and no way to associate different prices for different options. I was told to retry my email setup and it still doesn't work. Same with SEO premium. I am waiting for the changes I requested to be implemented. It would have been nice to have a discussion with the person actually building the site so I could give details of what I wanted. When calling for support, I have am in queue for 30+ minutes which is taking me away from my business. So far, BlueHost has not lived up to their reputation.
I chose BlueHost because you were highly recommended as an e-commerce site and for your site development. So, I’m really discouraged right now and stressed about when I might be able to open my site.
Extremely confusing to navigate web site and bothersome to get repeated email saying you're about to lose the domain name when it shows you have paid.
I am having issues with recurring charges despite having tried several times to have my account deleted and my domain removed. The last customer service representative that I spoke with stopped responding over chat when I tried to get this issue resolved and a refund issued.
Overall service is good, but your design/tech team approach has some glaring problems. From the client side...
1. I have a hearing deficiency and the non-english accents often makes it impossible to converse.
2. The skill level runs the gamut, exceptional to fair.

I've been using bluehost since 2017, and the most recent redesign of your website is awful. I haven't found anything about the changes that I can comment on positively. You seem to have taken a 'hard sell' approach, while throwing current customers to the wolves. The site has become harder to use, takes longer to find what I need, takes more clicks to get where I need, doesn't render well on screen, and often throws errors. It's all Cons and no Pros. If you're looking for a webhost, I don't recommend this one.
I have work to do. My question is, why are you making it difficult?
Look to be honest. It's not fair as a premium subscriber that my site goes down and not accessible now and then. The customer support takes too long to respond. And the dashboard keeps changing. For every obvious services you charge extra. If that is the case how can we maintain our website and online presence smoothly and assure quality services. Hope you'll take this matter into considerations.
Bluehost is fine but since it only allows you to have one website and charges more than Hostinger who allows 100 I will be migrating my site as soon as this year's subscription is complete.

I have a customer service issue. It is impossible to reach anyone. All I get is an unhelpful bot through the website but no one who can help me with my issue. I bought Yoast on Wordpress and as double charged also through Bluehost. Pls get in touch with me.

It is has truly difficult to navigate Blue Host so far! I have had an account for several months and have yet to have a chance to blog or post anything because I am totally confused. It is probably my own fault but I don't even know where to look to find help. Oh well.

Customer support called me, and supposedly help me with my issue. They where able to *temporary* replace the main domain of my hosting: municipioomanati.com with the actual domain i want to use, is websolutionspr.com. After 15 mins in phone call, i was able to see some changes, but 24 hours later all went back the same, the old domain appeared as the main domain. So. Thanks for nothing/? I guess.
Cause is cheaper than GoDaddy, but not because is blue.
Your chat support sucks, it's increasingly harder to navigate to my content and fix issues every time I log in, I literally dread having to log in to do anything, plus my emails don't reliably send or are received in a proper timeframe. I've been a customer for almost 20 years and feel like this platform has been annihilated by garbage. Especially for the price I'm continuously paying.

I've had so many problem with this hosting company, find a different one. My site disappeared three times, the last time I couldn't get it back for a number if days, when it was finally restored (though not from backup) all the styling and features were messed up. Also anybody who tries to open a site hosted by Bluehost who has Avast antivirus gets blocked with a 'Blacklist URL'. They have a conflict with Avast apparently. Also it's pretty slow for the price you're paying.
There are so many changes and updates that i can't keep up with my hosting. I came to sign in and my userID was changed unbeknownst to me. It is super inconvenient to go from something you understood to relearning something you have no knowledge about. Since you guys upgraded the system nothing has been the same and thats unfortunate.
