This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
You support is awful. I have been misinformed at many stages and if the agent feels I am going to leave them negative feedback they don't issue the feedback survey to keep their ratings high. Very unimpressed as it used to be really good
The customer service reps I've chatted with have been very courteous and obviously wish to help me. Unfortunately, I have had to visit with them more than once for the same issue. That is, the first rep assures me the issue is solved, but I find it isn't, so I must contact online chat again. So some reps are more knowledgeable than others. On the plus side, it doesn't take long to be connected with a rep and I've found that the more clear I can be in communicating my issue, the better the outcome for me. So, not a 5 Star rating, but definitely a 4 Star.

I've had major issues with signing in and I have people tell me my website isn't working. I go check and for no reason, my website will not be up. I've been very frustrated with the service chats. It take FOREVER to get through an issue because of the huge delays in them answering back. The conversation is SO SLOW! And half the time, I get no resolution and have to try to find a work around. The last time my ticket never got resolved and even when I asked again, no response. I'm looking for a different hosting platform.

Some points offered at initial purchase were not true. Such as the ability to increase disk space. For this it has been necessary to increase the entire contracted plan. Other providers have that option.

System breaks down quite often (Blue Host Customer Service) and the phone lines loop in error. No one seems to know the full product needs when we speak. Perhap all new staff or trainees, but not effective.
Got yet another message saying the original customer service person did not follow up about our https. Still not getting through to anyone.
The billing has been the hardest part with the service. Pricing matters for a new business who is trying to get web established and views, etc. I wish the web host pricing was certainly lower per year and the Domain pricing as well. However, this is a good service for hosting.
Never had issues before or it was fixed within reasonable time. Now without me changing anything on my site it started to have serious issues and nobody from your service is capable or willing to help. You all have the worse service I have ever seen of any kind of business entity I have interacted with throughout my entire adult life. Just count the number of times we have contacted you by phone or through chat.
My website, Lifelinecpa.com, keeps crashing because of server issues. Every time I call you fix it, tell me the issue is resolved, just to have it appear once again the next day. This has happened at least 7 times in the last 2 weeks. When I ask for a solution, the account representative has no clue how it was fixed. It seems like the very representative who blue host clients talk to are not the same as the same people who fix the issue. When I say fix the issue, I meant temporarily. It is a complete shame that I such a huge company permanently resolve an issue for a client that the client has called 20 times about.

I am transferring everything to another site. I can't believe you went from $12.99 to $21.99 per year for a domain. It's less to transfer my 5 webpages and 12 domains.
I initially picked Bluehost for the price. Now it's a money pit. Yesterday I had terrible customer service.
The service has been reliable over the years. It is also reasonably priced, and the website editor is pretty easy to figure out. Technical support rep's have also been skilled at resolving any issues. I just wish there was a better discount for purchasing multiple years at a time.

Support is not well, they lie a lot of time like yesterday they told me ssl is installed and it will take effect in 1 hour but even atfer 12 hours there is no ssl and this has happened to me before too

My credit card was stolen and I didn't realize I needed to update card for your billing. It would have been nice to know that you had a billing issues, which I could have corrected quickly, instead of just stopping my service.
I have been having problems for almost two months. I have felt with numerous people who left the call with the expectation set that the problems would be fixed and they are not fixed. One of the automatic updates created an error that made my site unreadable. I reached out to tech support and spent an hour chatting with them, they said they would call me on Thursday or Friday of last week. I waited over 12 hours for a phone call that never came and now I have to come back to trouble shoot again and the issue is still not resolved.
Customer service goes above and beyond to answer all my questions. I never feel like I am sent to an FAQ page to figure it out for myself. Absolutely feel confident my websites are in good hands.
We are in process of migrating all websites / business away from BlueHost.com due to COUNTLESS service interruptions since September 2023, with February resulting in a MASSIVE infestation of Malware after a major outage of over 72 hours, which we had to pay thousands to fix (nobody at BlueHost.com would help us).
Unfortunately, doing business with BlueHost.com has done nothing but cause our business to crash over and over again.
We've lost clients. We've lost revenue.
In fact, the only thing we've gained is debt, as it took WAY MORE to fix this recent Malware issue than we actually had in our bank account!
We regret using BlueHost.com and will vehemently advise against using them to all who will listen.

I am not able to access the Websites section in my control panel, even as a paying customer. So now what do I do? I'm just paying for a service that I can't access. Support hasn't fixed the issue an no one has offered me a credit for all of the lost time due to inability to access my websites section of the panel/dashboard (bluehost)

I have been asking for help to set up my email hosting on blue host. It has now been a couple weeks and my email still doesn't work. I expected that a service that encourages people to use their hosting would be capable of assisting me but so far NOBODY HAS HELPED ME and my business is suffering as a result.
The new interface makes it nearly impossible to find things such as the cPanel and other important parts of my account. My account payments history is basically missing and My hosting accounts are now actually listed under sub-accounts. I've been with Bluehost for over 10 years. This is the most difficulty I've had with accessing my accounts and working on my websites.
I am in my accounts daily working on things like email management, FTP accounts, and other site maintenance
A learning curve for me... had some difficulty finding things and getting the transfer of web domain etc. But the help people were fantastic and knowledgeable.

I am using bluehost for a year and this is by far the worse service provider, they have bots on name of support who will give you a scripted answer with interval of 3 minute in each message and will try to end the chat and call with same statement that your issue is resolved and will be impacted from 24 to 48 hours and so it will take more than a month without any solution
Then they will also charge your card and delete your accounts and block you
Tip for consumers:
I would like people to know the real face of bluehost and their bot service which wont help you and your card amount will be emptied and then they will block your account

I have a recurring problem with emails being rejected. It happens every 2-4 weeks and has been going on for months. Everytime I contact support they tell me it's fixed this time... many hours wasted on this.
Two days ago, I requested technical support. I did not receive a response. I kept waiting for a long time did not receive a response. Unfortunately, this is my last year here. I will look for a other company have better technical support
