This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
I have had a horrible experience with Bluehost, especially in the past few months. I've even expressed this on quite a few support calls and asked to speak to a Manager. None would return the call. Finally, after 4 or 5 promises of a Manager callback, I called and refused to hang up until I spoke with a Manager. I ended up speaking to Ritz. She helped clear a file backup issue but did not care in the slightest bit about my concerns and complaints regarding your company's horrendous service. I am truly thinking of going back to GoDaddy or some other hosting company.
First off, I did not CHOOSE Bluehost today. If I had it my way, I'd be with a company that cares about customer relationship beyond my purchase and payment.
But for the moment, my hosting is with you so I am following up on a scan to ensure that none of my sites are infected.
I have been trying to transfer my domain to Bluehost for over a week, and although I received an email stating the transfer didn't go through, 3 support agents told me not to worry it would, but it still hasn't been transferred.
I had issues in my email account and on Feb, 2,2024 I sent my claim to '*******@support.bluehost.com'. Never got an answer.
Moreover, that same day I asked you to make a change in my account, and I have received 9 messages asking me to confirm change, eventhough I confirmed it the very first time I received the confirmation message.
I need help in both matters.

The Blue Host representative was terrific. Shs was patient, listened to my concern and help me resolve the issue, which was probably not an issue other than my own ignorance. I was sorry that I was unable to complete the phone survey after the call but something happened to the connection and I was cut off. Probably of my own doing. Love Blue Host customer service!
Efficiency and reputable, friendly customer service.
A lot of your services are listed by acronyms and not explained sufficiently for a newer / less experienced user. Makes it hard to understand which services are essential and which ones are "nice to have add-ons"
Website is built and through the lack of info is very annoying, it is too much effort to switch and too much of a learning curve to start with a new provider
Your system is not user friendly! For example... I have my credit card on file and yet every month I have to login to pay my office space email subscription... That should be automatic... And yet when I login I have to jump through hoops to simply pay a bill.

Absolute garbage customer service. I had ongoing issues with being blacklisted for falsely spamming email with no explanation given and literally days wasted and thousands lost each time I had to try fix it myself.

On Thursday, March 28, I asked you to delete the websites soulcourse.com and talkwithelaine.com. Instead, you deleted my ACTIVE website and my email inbox for elainebayless.com. It is now almost 9:00 PM EDT on April 31st and you have yet to rectify your error. It's worth noting that despite this being your error, I have received no apology.
I'm trapped with you. Years ago I talked with you to detangle my elainebayless domain from soulcourse domain. You said you had done it. Yet I'm still paying. Then you deleted my domain and email. If you want me to choose you again you may want to consider offering me some significant discounts.
Your customer service has been nothing but disappointing, frustrating, and downright demeaning over the last month. I've lost count the number of times that I had to reach out for support and to follow up on numerous occasions because the promises made were not fulfilled. Please do not promise to email in 24-48 hours if you don't actually plan to do so. Bluehost deleted settings with my site without authorization, they lied to me about not being able to reinstate those settings, they put me off for a number of days, lied again, and then miraculously fixed it. I'm not happy about taking my 10+ years of service elsewhere, but you've left me no choice. I have ZERO trust in your services and that you care about your customers.

Everything ok with my account, but websites and emails are down. Customers are informing about both being down. I have been on waiting at Support phone line for 30 minutes. Hope that should outline the experience. Thank you.
Getting started was very easy and smooth. I was interrupted at the beginning of building my site and had to sign out. When I signed back in later, I had a hard time getting to the editing section to continue setting up my website. I'm not as tech savvy as I used to be so that's on me but it might be easier for other not so tech savvy people if there was a link to go back to the beginning of website set up. Other than my lack of knowledge, bluehost is a very good place to host my website. Thank you.
I have some free time so I'm working on refining my website before launching it.
The chat window is blocking the drop down menu on my Mac so I can't log off. Also, the chat icon is blocking this box as I try to type on my phone. Argh!
I was sent an email with a link to give me step by step instructions. But I have to log off first. For now, when I hit the link, I get a page that says How to create and manage a mailbox. But there are no instructions.
My domains are with Bluehost.
The new way to manage domains makes it extremely tedious and time consuming to update the simplest things like the default billing card. Getting help from the chat feature proved to be fruitless as the agent gave incorrect information and couldn't answer a simple question.
Because I've been with them for a few years and just have been too lazy to switch providers.

Something happened to the back-end of my site and as a result, I am having to recreate many sections of my site. What was suppose to have been backed up and restored is more than 2.5 years old instead of being from Feb. 9,2024. I am so angry and it is going to take me months to fix my site and I don't have any confidence that the same issues won't happen again.
Issues with my website.
Logging in has become a real pain. You keep changing things! Now have to use a user id,,,used too be able to login with email. A little while back your password field keys wanting to set a new password rather than use for logging in. All very odd.
Also, is really annoying having the popup trying to sell me some upgrade I don't want - keep having to click 'continue to account manager'

He stayed on the line and helped fix my issue to my satisfaction. Both representatives I talked to were very kind and understanding that this issue was not a small one for me, and was an important concern.

I have had numerous issues with Bluehost. I don't have access to my wordpress. I've called several times. I thought one time my site was recovering, only to discover that I was unable to access or edit my site.
My SSL got turned off, and now seeing an invalid certificate, giving me an error that my page is not private.

Nightmare! I changed nameservers a week ago on Squarespace and the DNS records are still not updated correctly. I have been in touch with Bluehost every day, sometimes many times a day and every rep gives me a different answer. When I ask for a survey (after a bad interaction), my call is disconnected and I do not get a survey option (this has happened twice).

Why can't you guys just allow 2 factor authentication that recognizes the 2 devices I use to access my account. My webmail logon no longer works and your particular 2-step authentication is cumbersome. Improve!
I've been with Bluehost now for almost 20 years. I'm not real fond of all the changes. I liked simple C-Panel and using FTP. Email at one time was easy, now any email coming from the Bluehost servers seems to be sent to spam on other servers, I'm not sure why and there is not a good, one button fix for it.

I'm at the point of renewing and I'm really quite irritated about the lack of transparency about what it will cost (it doesn't say in the dashboard and I've not had an email recently about it (or since I asked for my plan to be changed). I also don't understand why there's such a lack of control (e.g. To change plans etc.) I have through my online portal. It's disgraceful that an online service gives so little control and transparency over these things in 2024.
