This is the second time calling for assistance and it was great/ your tech support also helping my developers solve the problem. It took some time but we got it resolved. I had Bluehost when if fist launched my website, and for reasons I can't figure out why SEO team decided to move my newly develop site. But it did happen!. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and looking for long and lasting relationship.
Our experience was great because of generous in terms of user numbers and unlimited storage, efficient processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The hosting excels at providing timely support and ensuring smooth operations, which made everything seamless. One area for improvement could be increasing proactive updates, so customers stay better informed throughout the process.
My Websites had gone down multiple times in the past 2 weeks. Customer support is terrible. No one seems to care my websites are down. Have to contact customer support multiple times to get an update on the restoration. Very bad security.

I have been having email issues since the get-go with all except the one email address we signed up for "Professional" email. The ones set up only through cPanel do not work except to send. Been on with chat support 3 times and all 3 times they claimed to have fixed it but still no email coming into any other address I have setup.
I have my own business doman through BlueHost that has worked beautifully (I have yet to design an actual website but I do use the domain for email). I am now setting up my husband's domain and email and since I opted to "try" the Professional email I think that has caused problems with the cPanel email accounts I have set up. Nothing but headaches!
A lot of extra fees that are not needed to charge extra. Those features could be included in the price like other hosting to make the purchase process more simpliar and more affordable and vavuble hosting package. I feel bluehost is very deceiving in their advertising.
Because of support told me over the phone that the the 24/7 support is live support and I can call in anytime. But it is not as advised. I have to pay extra for Wordpress live support. I feel I got tricked because that wasn't mentioned to me.
I chose 2 stars because of how difficult the Word Press editor is when attempting, to edit web pages. You can't delete paragraphs of words and instead have to delete or backspace & when you hit the arrow keys the screen jumps around and it's impossible to edit just a few words vs the entire 'block', and that's just what I have in mind...
I have a subscription already.
My website quit working, and was only displaying lines of code. I tried multiple times to fix it and have now wiped the whole thing to start over. If the new website doesn't work I will have wasted a lot of money and be forced to take my website elsewhere.

Please do not do business with Site lock they are the worst hackers Ive known off in the recent 3 yrs. We have enjoyed 18 years of business with blue host but ever since your partnership with site lock, they keep hacking the system at least twice in the year to ensure the website is down. Getting them to restore the site takes more than a week.
Please dont tell me that virus come from Aliens. They dont. So lets not get stupid with your reply to me.
Site lock has deliberate hackers that will try to pretend there is a virus so they can justify the payment of $700 plus per year.
We are not IT people we are a non profit agency and this has been going on for 3 to 4 years consistantly. Look at the reviews on site lock they are making money for blue host. That is quite obvious but they are also destroying business.
I have enjoyed a very good relationship with blue host for so many years. But because site lock was hacking our system, we got a new service provider.

Because there are so many issues with restoring our website secondchanceinc.ca. We opened a ticket E 36640 BUT instead of restoring the site they send us links to back up the site.
What is the point in paying site lock and blue host. Thats why we are paying for your services. To keep virus away and host. Today they said there is no back up version of our site. So I want a full refund of all the years i have hosted with blue host since you claim you make back up copies every day and yet your team cannot find my site to restore it. I have not made any changes to the site for 5 years. Can they not give me the back up from one week ago, one month ago, 6 months ago, 1 year ago, 2 years, 5 yrs ago.
I will never recommend your company to any one. Infact SHAME ON BLUE HOST. Look at the reviews of your company. If you are an indian company i think i have understood why. Its all about greasing your pockets.
Very slow website, and after changing the user interface, the experience is not good. When logging in, I should be taken to the account page where I can start the work I logged in for, instead of giving me a promo page, that takes two clicks to get to my account page.
To update my site.
I have spent a good bit of time trying to update my contact records for all of my domains. No one could help. Tried again today, several browsers, cleared cache and spent time trying to fix it. The update contact screen is rejecting the very password that got me signed into my account saying it's invalid.
Every time I need assistance, it always means 45 minutos of my day.
The representatives seam always to be with 3 ou 4 issues at the same moment.
Last issue (no outgoing emails and website down due to some server issues you're experiencing) I was told 4 to 5 hours to get fixed and its been 4 days with no feedback or solution...and over 2h of my life trying to chat efficiently with you representatives (This issue is still on!)
The new system has endless tech issues that not even tech support can resolve or know the cause of the issue. I'm counting the days until I can change hosts since a refund (asked for due to these ongoing issues) was not offered and I had just renewed for 3 years. For the record, I loved Bluehost prior to the update that took place at the end of October 2023.
Years ago, Bluehost lost my entire website and was never able to recover it. I had to stick around because my plan was paid for three years. Terrible experience.
I have been in contact many times recently to get website backups working. Last time I was assured the problem was fixed. I still cannot see backups or initiated a backup without an error message. Not happy.
Long time customer
The hosting is great and best but the email always has issues. Since it is vital to my organization, I wish the email issues were solved, the emails we send are delivered after a few hours and raised a lot of tickets for this too.
The ease of use for Wordpress is not great. There was no uninstall button which there should have been but rather a remove Wordpress. It doesn't even state that if Wordpress is hosted on the cPanel or not. I looked in the cPanel Public HTML and saw pieces of Wordpress but no main files.
OMG - The support is absolutely the worst I have experienced. I can't add any users to my account and I have been told to wait for 24 hours (completely made up reason) and now the person I am talking to doesn't even respond! This is terrible
Supposedly for support - but I am not getting any. I will try calling I suppose before moving to somewhere else. This is the worst experience I have had with any IT products...

I'm a customer, starting to regret it
I have had an issue with my domain and website that has also affected my business email. I was told it would be resolved in 24-48 hours on thursday 2/22/24 and it has not been corrected, nor have I received an update email. This matter requires immediate attention. Thank you.
Since the recent transitions from last year's portal to the new portal there are many background post changes that directly affected the account. There is no billing history that can be looked up. No proof of transactions that were forced into the account. The new server migration is a shared server that was infected with malicious code that spread through all my sites that I host. Even though I have both site lock and site guard.
I didn't choose it today, I needed to login to make adjustments.
Outside of previews through the site editor, my page does not load. I've tried through more than one browser and at different times. It always says the page is taking too long to respond, even though it is a simple site. Also, I cannot figure out how to make the contact form send me an e-mail and every explanatory article I have found is too confusing to decipher.
Very poor knwoledge of support techs. One of them even tried to add a cname on the wrong domain. As soon as I told him that I did not was comfortable with that situation, did not even sent a support review rating. And still have not been able to add a CNAME because bluehost nameservers are not working propperly. Really terrible customer and tech service

I have tried 3 times today to get support thru chat...if I dont see the chat and miss about 30 seconds...it starts over again. This is really $#*! service. I put my issue in the chat thread.and NO one looked at it.

Your site indicates that i have no protection. I am asked to pay even more to have my site protected through BlueHost. What the heck am i paying for if not the secure website that you advertised when you got me to choose BlueHost as my hosting site.

Trying to get my email fixed. Support worked with me yesterday. Said they would call back or email in 30 minutes. It's been 29 hours. Still not working.
The changes that have been made to the account home page and control panel are not intuitive at all. We have our website built on Weebly and it's almost impossible now to find where to log in to work on the website. Everytime I log in, I spend 10 minutes just clicking around trying to find what I need. Terrible design.
