Ordered 2 boards and 2 sets of 126 cards for a custom HIMYM game I designed. Everything came out exactly as I intended! Very happy with the quality. They emailed me saying one of my cards wasn't coloured fully so that I could edit it. (I then realised some other issues and they let me edit the rest of my cards). Ended up paying $180 (incl delivery to Aus). After the final edit it only took 13 days to arrive. Much quicker than I had anticipated for printing and shipping to Australia.

*2 small issues. 1. Couldn't fully resize text on a horizontal card design. 2. The preview at the 'design front' stage and the final preview were different (cards were shifted to the right). The initial preview is the real one for anyone wondering.

Average shop
April 25, 2020

Just an average store with an average choice of games. Their support works pretty well, and there are no shipping problemm, but as a client I want more things to choose in 2020.

The quality of the product is incredible and support was very polite and quick to answer when I submitted any ticket. There were no problems with the shipment and everything arrived on time and well packaged. A small heads up is to know what you're working/dealing with, the printers print in CMYK and the product will obviously look a bit different from the computer screen. Always check and test before you submit your document and read whatever they need. I didn't had a tool to rely on, but it worked incredible anyways. Simple, if an unexperienced 18 year old can do it (me), then so can you if you read all instructions. I was sceptical at first, but judging by the finished product, I'm very satisfied. I might be biased since it's my first time, but the box kinda looks better than the boxes I see in the store.

Extra:
In general, always check for any extra delivery taxes/customs for your country, or else the bill might scare you if you order large quantities. I personally didn't do my homework, but I did expect a somewhat higher Tax since I'm located in Sweden. The product arrived in Top-notch quality so I strongly recommend this company for custom made Boxes (+ I think they would do just as well as gift-boxes if the design is good)

I like BGM their card and boxes are very good quality but whats lacking is a shop link for customers. Yes i know they can do fulfillment delivery but would like to see other game products for sale.

Great for prototypes!
April 10, 2022

I have ordered many pieces from this company... Including hefty-price bulks of up to 250 board games & pieces... If you are looking for a good prototype place, this is the place to go. I would argue that their products, while a little more expensive, have better quality than TheGameCrafter. They also seem to have faster shipping dates than TheGameCrafter as well, which is great for folks like me who are impatient.

Also, their website is the easiest designer tool to use. No specific size modeling needed, you can just use PNG files (I designed everything on Canva)... And if for some reason you have a piece that they think will look a little off, they will hold the product and send you an email to double check if the design is okay before they produce it.

Great staff, great quality, great turnaround time... ONLY complaint is the price... Especially the shipping (but that is to be expected coming from China). But for a prototype or stand-alone game, totally worth it.

(If you want to save a lot of money on boxes, go design a box at boxgenie.com and use high gloss on a mailer box.)

I was very satisfied with the whole experience. First and most importantly, the completed product (I purchased a board game, a board game box, dice, and a large pack of their cards) is perfect. High quality and it made it to me in perfect condition. Second, the site experience couldn't be easier. The site easily moves users through the process and provides design specs to ensure your product comes out as you expect. Third, it's very affordable. It was hard to find another manufacturer that would only produce one game, but BGM does, and it's much more affordable than expected for the quality and turnaround time. The site allows you to save and replicate projects too, so you can always make more.

Finally, I will share a story about their customer service, especially since I have seen so many reviews criticizing the experience, and was myself a bit concerned getting the process going.

I completed my project at the start of December, hoping to get it in time for Christmas, which their team didn't guarantee, but helped steer me in the right direction to get by the 2nd - 3rd week.

Production took 2 days, and my project was out the door, and I received it 2 weeks before Christmas. However, when I opened the box and found a key component of the project missing, I panicked a bit. While BoardGamesMaker shipped the component, it didn't arrive with the other parts.

I reached out to customer service and they were responsive (typically responded within 12 hours) and vowed to work with me to make it right, even though it was a, issue with their carrier and not their business. They got right to work reprinting my cards and sent them out within 2 business days. Again they managed my expectations, as this all happened on the 18th of December. 3 days later, the cards arrived and the project was complete.

All in all, I can't recommend this enough. A very cool company with a great product and a dedicated customer service team. Couldn't be happier.
