I went to the Boot Barn in Gainesville Fl on 03/18/23. The staff was not friendly I was inquiring about my boots that I received as a gift. I noticed that the colors changed. Just wanted to get an idea of what to do. All we got was accuse of me not buying the boots that I walked into the store on my feet. Katie looked at me as if I couldn't afford them. She asked me if I had paid for them. When I walked into the store they were on my feet. My boots were a gift. Do you know how hard it is to get these boots on and off. I am pretty sure they have cameras in the store.

First, I've read many of the online order reviews and see where some customers are dissatisfied. My only remedy to suggest... go to a local Boot Barn (if possible) or either... don't buy online or use Amazon "Try Before You Buy" if the item can be found there). I have had three in-store visits to our local Boot Barn. The first time... folks were generally very polite... but not too "helpful". Second visit... not sure what was occurring at the register... as folks were there and talking... but no help offered... Third visit... on 8/31/22... excellent customer service. I explained an issue that makes it difficult to find a good fit to shoes, etc., and we discussed pros/cons. The rep was knowledgeable and presented a genuine desire to assist. I will say... wasn't too used to the boots/shoes not in the box... but after thinking about it... I appreciate that these are on the "display". The whole process of unwrapping every pair of shoes/boots for fit/sight review is rather blah... The price was excellent... The sales rep did mark inside tag of the boots after completion of purchase with a red marker... describing the reason as basically for some kind of control for returns/warranty... a bit bizarre... but if it works for the system, so be it. Definitely look forward to shopping at Boot Barn in the future.

Tip for consumers:
Understand that some people (buyers) are (although they don't see it) unreasonable respective to warranty. I don't understand why Boot Barn puts itself in the middle for warranty issues. It begets bad publicity.... Other than needed training in the sales departments...customer service, etc., I appreciate this business. Look forward to future purchases....

ITS NOT WORTH GETTING THERE CREDIT CARD, YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PAYMENT IN CASH AT STORE OR ONLINE, AND THERE WEBSITE IS HORRIBLE, ALWAYS DOWN AND YOU KEEP HAVING TO CHANGE PASSWORD TO LOG IN! WORSE SERVICE EVER!

So the very first time I find this place they said they had the jacket I wanted to buy for my son for Christmas. The guy said we have one XL left the only one around, so I drive all the way there just to find out it wasnt even the one I was talking about. I go on line and order the one I wanted. A couple days go by I get an email saying order is processing. Cool right? NOT 3 days later Im told ORDER CANCELED? None left? But I ordered on line and it took a freaking week to tell me this? I got less than a week to find another and have it shipped? WASTED A WEEK FOR NOTHING! NO THANKS YOU GET THE BOOT.

Tip for consumers:
Way over priced but nice stuff. Sizes run China small an XL mind as well be for a teen.

I order alot online and never had any issue. But this time I spent over 300 dollars and it charged me 4 times. I still haven't got it all back. I probably won't be ordering from bootbarn anymore.

"I had the worst experience I have ever had ordering through Boot Barn online. I placed an order December 28th with 2 day shipping and as of January 5th it STILL HAS NOT SHIPPED. I tried to call 8 different times on different days and waited for a representative for 30 minutes every time without any luck. I emailed customer service another 5 times with once again no luck. I am beyond pissed and at this point just want to cancel my order, but I cant get ahold of anyone to even let me do that. This site is crap, customer service is USELESS, and they do NOT have the customers best interest at mind. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BOOT BARN STORE OR ONLINE EVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS BS!"

I notice your company has no size for 46*30 and up and no xxx shirts in fire resistance clothing. Very disappointed. As a customer in your stores selling them

The only reason this review has a one star rating is because I wasn't allowed to put zero stars.

I had purchased a pair of Cody James boots from Boot Barn and didn't have a problem with them for a while but then all of a sudden one day the entire lining of the interior of one of the boots delaminated itself and my foot was stuck in the boot. When I tried to pull my foot out of it the entire lining ripped out from top to toe. I pursued having them replaced because there is supposedly a warranty on them for a year but was given the runaround by several people for several days, several emails and several calls.

They refused to even look at the boot, claiming that the damage was due to wear and tear and not due to a manufacturer's defect. However the other boot is perfectly fine with no similar damage. So obviously one of the boots was not made properly. They would not listen to the logic of that.

One of their ridiculous arguments was to state that because the defect did not reveal itself for several months, then it wasn't an actual manufacturer's defect. Which of course my reply to that was, "if it isn't possible for a manufacturer's defect to reveal itself within a years time then why do they have a year-long warranty for them."

Needless to say, I will never be shopping with Boot Barn again.

I ordered a shirt color green I re dived a shipping notice they shipped a red and black, so I ordered another one same thing this time I called lady said she cancelled the wrong one and was shipping the correct, again I had the same information red and black. Again I ordered a 3 shirt and again same thing happened. Called customer service representative told me she has seen this and to wait and I would probably get the correct short. Sure enough 3 days in a row I got a shirt and it was the correct color. So I took back 2 to the store to return them. Supposedly I was getting a refund for both the shirts, but my credit card only shows one credit I have called numerous times and still have nothing resolved. The last person names Marcie was rude and gave me the invoice number and told me to call my bank. Supposedly the funds were released to my bank a week ago, it nothing has showed up. While it is easy to do in store return, you have no informal and a customer service staff that lacks customer service. I presently have a pair of boots that I just got and due to the lack of service I am highly thinking of returning them and will never order another item from them online. This is all due to the customer service department. Too bad cute stuff. Please note with dealing on line orders and refunds are all email you get no paperwork ever and if you into your order history it doesn't show all your orders only the store can see them.

I order a pair of boots for my husband for Christmas. He loves the boots but they ran a little small so I sent them back with instructions for an exchange and what size we needed. Instead of exchanging them, they refunded my money. I sent several inquiries about this and all I got was sorry for the miscommunication, did even offer to fix it. I called and asked a customer service representative about reordering the boots and she told me the boots were discontinued and there were none left in stock so I told her I would get on the website later and pick some different boots. I got on the website and those exact boots that I originally ordered were still on there so I called to place an order. When I gave her the item # of the original boots and the size I needed she said ok, next item ‍ I asked her if those boots had been discontinued like I was told earlier in the day and she said no and that she didn't know why I was told that. Needless to say, I placed my order on 2/2/21 it says they were shipped out the next day and guess what, it is now 2/13/21, no boots, the tracking isn't working and when I tried to track them through UPS with the UPS tracking number that Boot Barn gave me, UPS could not locate the shipment and now Boot Barn is telling me that it will take up to 10 days to investigate. Give me a reason to order here again ‍

Bootbarn has crummy pictures and false descriptions. They also don't ship multiple item orders at once, even when coming from the same location. Annoying.

Around the 1st of December I ordered boots for my grandson - right at $600 and paid with PayPal - boots came and he needed a larger size I went in to the order and processed an EXCHANGE. Over the next few days, I kept getting emails about a refund - I just thought it was an error. Then I got worried - replied back to one and they stated that they couldn't exchange an order paid by PayPal - NO Notice to
Me at all. I was expecting the boots any day - only to find that I had to wait on a refund and then reorder -. So - I did that to. Reordered - then I lost the 15% discount that I had received ion the 1st order. Not happy - I emailed and they did refund $88 for the 2nd order a so I was at least satisfied. THEN the package arrived in Atlanta and it has still not been found or delivered. 45 days from the day of the 1st order - NO BOOTS NO REFUND! What a joke! They said they opened an investigation on Dec 16th and it would take 7-10 days to resolve - I have begged them for help

Before I gave them $600. One more thing - same boots were found at a local

Customer service is nonexistent. They take your money quickly but if you need an exchange or refund you are out of luck. Never again

I ORDERED SOME BOOTS ONLINE TO BE DELIVERED TO A STORE IN CYPRESS, TX. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE IN KATY, TX. I WENT THERE TO FIND OUT THAT THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE AT THE CYPRESS STORE. THEY HAD NOT GOT TO THE STORE THEN CALLED THE COPOPRATE NUMBER, WAS TOLD THAT THE MATTER WOULD BE SOLVED. THREE WEEKS LATER I WAS STILL CHARGED. I NEVER GOT THE BOOTS AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM MANAGEMMENT AS PROMISED. I WILL GO BACK TO CAVENDERS THEIR SERVICE IS MUCH BETTER. SO LONG BOOT BARN. BE CARFUL BUYING FROM THIS BUSINESS!

Should have went to Walmart or Amazon!

I've never paid over $50 for Shoes. Thought I'd Splurge and Treat Myself to something Nice so I went to the Boot Barn in Bend, 45 Miles away.

They only had size 13, I wear 14 in some and 15 in others. She said she could Order them. I said Great and handed her $150 American Dollars in Cash. She said she couldn't Accept Cash but she could Sell me a Gift Card to Pay for the Boots.1st Red Flag!

Gave her the Cash she couldn't Accept 2 Minutes Earlier. She Ordered them and I Received them a few days later.

Not a good fit so I tried to Exchange them for 14's. They don't make them in 14, just 13 & 15.

90 Mile Round Trip. And Guess what? They can't Return my Money but they're willing to give me another Gift Card. What a Scam! What the hell am I supposed to do with a Gift Card from a Store I don't Shop at, Never have and Never will again?

Gift Card Scam! Can't Accept Cash to Buy the Boots but they can Accept Cash to Buy a Gift Card to Buy the Boots!?

I was SCAMMED by the Boot Barn for $130 Dollars!

We spend so much money here only to have our "rewards" expire so quickly that we can't ever use them. We buy everything from cowboy boots and cowboy hats to regular hats and wrangler jeans, belts and buckles, button up shirts and T shirts, wooden block to remove boots and hooks to put boots on etc etc. We recently bought our son a nice leather wallet with USA FLAG on it only to get home and find that it had a big hole in it from where they attached the security tag! I didn't return because Boot Barn is not close to home and with the price of gas it is not feasible not to mention the hassle! I work long hours this is the last thing I want to do on my ONE DAY OFF!
Back to rewards program: we haven't been able to use NOT ONE reward since joining years ago BECAUSE THEY EXPIRE WITHIN A MONTH OR TWO! This is exactly what they want! And It's the worst way to treat your loyal customers. 90% of all other retail stores we shop at DONT do this! They give A YEAR BEFORE REWARDS EXPIRE!

We'll be taking business elsewhere until this is changed. REWARDS SHOULD NOT EXPIRE! We EARNED THEM! Terrible way to treat customers, especially considering how overly priced/expensive everything is in your stores! It's the LEAST YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS! SMH nobody takes care of customers anymore.
The staff inside the store are friendly but the customer rewards program means their customer service is terrible.

I WENT SHOPPING FOR BOOTS AND THE STYLE OF BOOTS DID NOT HAVE IN THE STORE AT SOUTH PARK MEADOWS AUSTIN TEXAS. THE STORE OWNER ADVISED I CAN GO ONLINE ORDER THE STYLE OF BOOT I WAS LOOK FOR, SO I ORDER A PAIR BOOTS AND THEY SENT THE WRONG SIZE AND COLOR, SO I GO BACK TO BOOT BARN AS PRIOR ADVISED TO GET A REFUND AND HAD TO LEAVE MY BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY OPEN AT NOON DUE TO COVID 19, GOT MY REFUND ASK THE MANAGER FOR HER TO ORDER ME THE CORRECT BOOT AGAIN SHE WAS NOT SURE WHY THAT HAPPENED BECAUSE MY RECIPE SHOWED MY ORDER WAS RIGHT BUT THE BOOT. REPAID FOR THE BOOT AND I HAD NOT OBTAIN THE 1ST REFUND. RECHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT I LEAVE STORE THINKING WHAT A INCONVENIENCE, FEW HOURS LATE FELT SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT DECIDED TO LOOK AT MY RECIPE FOUND OUT THE MANGER DID NOT HAVE THE CORRECT SPELLING OF MY ADDRESS SO I HAD TO LEAVE MY BUSINESS AGAIN GO BACK HAVE HER CORRECTED IT, I ADVISED MY LOSS OF MONEY FOR CLOSING MY BUSINESS TO HER, SHE OFFERED ME A 15% DISCOUNT ON ANYTHING IN THE STORE TO LOOK\UP TO SEE EVERYTHING WAS 15%; OFF, THIS WAS TRULY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND THE OFFICE IN CALIFORNIA WHERE THEY HAD TO CALL TO CORRECT THE ADDRESS WAS WORSE, I BELIEVE I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! So I decided to venture to Uniontown Boot Barn for the first time to buy my fiance a pair of boots for Christmas. He never buys himself anything and needed them badly due to ankle pain from work everyday. So being suoer excited for him to open on christmas and wear was short lived the boots were leaking he was coming home with his feet WET. So off we went to Boot Barn in hopes of either a new pair/refund something. Well He decided to just go with something totally different while still being a work boot but a cowboy boot. Just had to spend a little more money. So we leave happy thinking he found something that will be comfortable and easy for him to work in and support his ankles and help with his pain... WRONG THE ONE BOOT SHRUNK>>>>HE CANT EVEN GET IT ON HIS FOOT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! COME ON
WE ARE BRINGING THEM BACK TO YOU BOOT BARN AND I DO NOT WANT NO OTHER PAIR OF BOOTS OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM YOUR STORE. Thamks to your SHODDY items my fiance has had to work in this weather in old shoes until we can afford to get boots again. PATHETIC
