Born Pretty

I've ordered from Born Pretty once. It took about a little over a month to have my package arrive in Canada. Package came intact, nothing spilled and everything came!
When it comes price it's great and quality not bad! So then why not splurge some more?! I'm currently on my 2nd purchase, I checked out and paid for my items and found out 2 days later I received an email from a customer service rep named Sophia. And here is what she has to say!

NOT VERY IMPRESSED... wouldn't you think that if I had issue with my first purchase they would have some kind of records? Wouldn't you think that a company would use their diligence to go back to my previous purchase and match me info etc.? You think anyone will feel secure to send a picture of their Id and credit card to a country overseas?! LOL I am speechless.

The bottom line is that this company is very inconsistent! The whole structure of their company has to be redone! Don't take their BS about "how the company is growing fast and not able to keep up blah blah" that's BS a good business will know how to know manage that!

I ordered on 11 November and it shipped out 20 November. I received my order on 2 December and all items were of a better quality than I would have expected considering the price. Everything was packed so that there would be no damage to brittle items. However, there were four items missing (out of a total 25 items).

I submitted a ticket online the same day explaining what was missing and asking if I could get these items sent to me or a refund for their value. I received a reply on 3 December apologising for the missing items and explaining that they had actually shipped the items they had in stock on 20 November, waited for the remaining items to be in stock again, and shipped those four items on 25 November. This was confirmed when I received the remaining items on 7 December.

All in all, I'm exceptionally happy with their service. There could be more communication so that there wouldn't be any misunderstandings about 'missing' items, but I'm glad that they are proactive about sending the items they do have in stock to the customer straight away and then sending the remaining items at a later date when they are replenished. In any case, when I did contact them, they contacted me within 24 hours to clear up any misunderstandings.

The shipping is admittedly slower, but considering it is free shipping, the cheap prices on the items AND the massive discounts they have at different times, I find it rather forgivable.

The quality of the items is also quite decent - I bought a selection of stamping plates, stamping polishes and hair bands and all are very workable.

I highly recommend this site, but took a star off due to the miscommunication as I know that may affect some of your decisions.

About 2 years ago I placed my first order with this company & I never had a problem. Two months ago I decided to place another order & this time decided to read the reviews. Well, after so many negative reviews I was very skeptical & confused because I couldn't understand why so many people had such difficulty when everything went smoothly for me with my first order. I really wanted to place an order because they had such nice things & a wide selection but was afraid at the same time. Anyhow, I took the chance & I sent them an email, expressing how much I wanted to place an order but the negative reviews were preventing me. The content of their response wasn't a professional one, but I went ahead & ordered. Thank goodness the balance was only about $10, I said to myself I would rather risk losing ten bucks rather than anything more than that. It took about 2 wks to arrive which I expected based on my first experience, I received all the products which was about 4 to 5 items & they were just as pictured. What I don't like about them is that the only way to contact them is through email, I did previously raised the question of why they don't provide an 800 number. Their response was that they were in the process of opening a store in California, not sure if that's true but just have to wait and see. I do think they should provide a toll free number for customers. I don't usually place orders from sites that doesn't provide one, that right there is a red flag to me. However, I did receive my things in tact, I will probably place another order with them but will again keep the amount I spend at minimum just in case. I wish everyone luck with their disputes & hope everything works in your favor.

Hi everyone... i would like to share a very honest review about the website *******@BornPrettysore... well when i say BPS then the only word that comes in my mind is Quality... ya thats true BPS never compromises on the quality of the products they sell... they deliver as they display on their website... secondly they deliver the products safely and right on time... moreover the cost of each product is quite affordable... and the best part is their Help Desk/ PR managers and inshort their entire team is so so co-operative that they will never ever disappoint you. You can contact them via their email address and they will be right there inorder to assist you. I will recommend every girl and a nailart/makeup lovers to visit their website and make some purchases cauz you will fall in love with their products and YES above all donot miss the deals and discounts BPS display for their Customers cauz the deals BPS gives is simply out of this world.

They said a particular item was out of stock. So I changed it and guess what again? They said they have shipped it already but the shipping company returned the package. Take note that it takes about 24 hours to get a response from them. So on the 27th, I told them not to ship my order and send me a refund instead. On the 30th, the order status changed to shipped and they said that they have already shipped my package a few days ago. LOL! So I guess I won't be getting my order before Christmas and the Christmas items I ordered will collect dust til Christmas 2017. I will be filing a Paypal dispute on this so that Paypal will investigate why so many customers are filing disputes over this company.
