Purchased an expensive item, delivered damaged. Waited on hold for 44 minutes before anyone could help me... then she just said sorry and what would I like for her to do... omg... really

Boscovs does not return phone calls or properly answer any emails and address any situation instead you get computer generated emails and responses and then when you get your item it's broken and you get a packing slip telling you that you have to pay to return any items nowhere does it say anything about damaged items that WONT CLOSE AS THEY WERE POORLY PACKAGED and they damaged and sent me a Barbie case for my granddaughter that will not close she cannot carry it the dolls in the clothes will fall out this looks like dollar store garbage and I paid 1599+ $10 shipping for this crap!
What I bought was complete garbage and I'm sorry I dealt with this company I never will again if you're smart you'll stay away from them!
I LOVE this website! I have bought everything from perfume, to shoes, to clothes to jewlery on boscovs! I LOVE IT! Prices are unbeatable, style is awesome and they have mens, womens and kids clothes (brand name) for deep deep discounts!
I got shoes from Boscov. 2 pairs of great flat shoes with arch support. One had a problem. I returned it, and got the correct shoe back. Within a week!
No hassle. My feet are comfy.
We do not often go to the Eastwood mall in Niles, OH 17 miles away except for Sam's gas; but we are now going to go more often. Reason? Boscov's. The store is huge, the merchandise is of very good to excellent quality well stocked, and the prices are fair or much better than fair, even better than most other competitors.
However, those are not the only reasons. We went in just to look around, and we found a relatively expensive item for our new home for which we had been looking for months; so we were going to purchase it on the spot. However, the sales rep suggested that we apply for a Boscov's credit card. Well, there was a glitch in the process. My wife had a Boscov's account, which she had forgotten, in San Antonio, TX; and it took almost TWO HOURS to straighten it all out to change the information.
Cassandra was a gem. She stood with us all the way to get us through, probably even missing or delaying her lunch break. Michelle also pitched in, and so did the manager and so did the staff in customer service. Without them, we probably would have walked.
You will be seeing us.
P.S. While our time at customer service, there were customers who returned merchandise. Their treatment was courteous and efficient. There were no complaints from any of them.

I bought 1 dress and it arrived in a few days. They charged something extra, but a reasonable amount.
Except for some difficulty with their website... they are a friendly and helpful company to deal with..
I ordered 7 fragile items online. It took WEEKS for the items to get to me. When they did, the outside shipping box was damaged. I noticed that the company cut down the sides of the box, which weakens the integrity.
2 of the items were damaged. I called in to the 800#. My first hold, approximately 5 min, was met with a customer service agent, who asked me all about me, the order, the problem, etc. Only to transfer me, which took 20 min for them to answer. When they did answer, I had to go through EVERYTHING again, as nothing transfers from the first agent.
I told them the problem and they informed me that there policy is that I will have to await for THEM to receive reimbursement of the damaged items before they will ship me a replacement order. Unless I want to PAY for a new order PLUS shipping?!?!?!? The box will not be claim settled by Fedex, as they cut down the sides of the box. The Supervisor of the agent came on and basically called me a liar, saying they would never do that and they need proof! I emailed the pictures, but at this point am not only out the Valentines gift, but am out the money! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I bought a Marshmallow Warmie, and it's fur is much rougher and tougher than the one I got later on Amazon.
They don't reveal when you order that your item will ship first through UPS then your package will be handed off from UPS to the USPS which delays your shipment.
