Horrible customer service, I wish I would of done my research before dealing with this company. They don't offer extensions even though its states that it does especially during this pandemic. Just stay away.
They call you none stop even when have paid your payment, the interest rates double. I'm a payment of $222 every two weeks and only $66 is going towards my car. Drive time and BridgeCrest or very dishonest company. Dionne
I have been trying to handle the vehicle left behind my my deceased father, and have spoken to six different representatives all claiming they needed only a death certificate and POA. After faxing and emailing these items over a period of 2 months, I am now being told I have to go to court to receive an affidavit. NOT one person has said anything about an affidavit until today. I just need to know the monthly payment and/or payoff amount. You would think they would want their money. These people have no idea what they are doing, and refuse to let you speak with a supervisor when asked. I will NEVER go thru this company for a loan, totally unprofessional.
I work for the company that owns bridgecrest, and have recently gotten divorced. I attempted to reach out to them because I am a type 1 diabetic and had to make a choice to pay my car loan or pay for my insulin, I requested a 1 month deferral in order to not miss a payment even though I'd still end up being charged interest. They told me to get lost essentially. They care more about 300$ then they do about all the money I make them working on and getting vehicles ready for sale. Love the main company but there financial department is absolutely heartless. Will no longer be recommending people use our in home financing. Make sure you go through your bank
See a lot of negative reviews... don't understand why. Drive Time and Bridgecrest have proven nothing but efficient, professional and satisfactory to me. Pay on time every two weeks with zero problems. They expeditiously report positively to all 3 credit bureaus monthly. Zero complaints. Basically you do what you agreed to in your contract and Bridgecrest does their part---Highly recommend.
After approximately 4 1/2 years of payment, my truck was repossessed. I paid the money to recover it. The Bridgecrest rep informed me that she scheduled my pick up appointment at the time I made my payment ( 8:30am). After contacting the recovery company, I was told the business closes in 2 minutes and I would have to wait until Thursday to get my vehicle. It angers me because I could have made the appointment myself! This misinformation has me stranded with 2 infants and no car seat! Being professional, I feel that information should have been disclosed upfront. Unprofessional. I will never shop with Bridgecrest again nor will I refer Bridgecrest to anyone at this point.
Disappointed driver
I have been with dry time since 2013 I have bought three cars from them
It works for people who don't have the greatest credit you just have to pay your bill on time and if you get the Gap coverage and insurance and extended warranties they will fix the things that are covered under the warranty which are potentially very costly They want their money just like any other place
If you need a car and you pay your bills it works
I bought a 2014 Chevy Sonic through DriveTime/Bridgecrest a couple of years ago. Financial problems made it so I had to reschedule quite a few payments. I've found that they're always willing to work with me on these, and I really appreciate what they do. Also, when I make alternate arrangements, I always do what I say I'm going to do. I think it depends at least a bit on the attitude I have when I call. I'm always polite, friendly and apologetic about missing payments, and I always thank them for their willingness to work with me, and they respond in kind. Very happy with them! And I love the car.
You can not change your car payment due payment, but only 1 time a year they don't care with the customer is going through, this is terrible. If you are making your payments on time ( like me) and have to change the date, they should help make the customer happy by doing so! I will never do business again with them, PERIOD!
This payment breakdown makes no sense. Just like the two payments I was forced to pay. Not one person I have talked to can show me on paper that I owed this. But it's paid.
If you click on question mark it brings up
Payment break down
Past due $187.28
Late charge $15.00
This equals $202.28
But we had to pay $314.20 which is a difference of $111.92. Been a bookkeeper for 50 plus years and never seen this kind of bookkeeping. Somebody needs to look into this?
They lure hard working people in with low down payments and then charge them two and a half times what the car is worth while fast talking you. These finance rates should be illegal for them to charge. They need to put regulations on these type of finance institutions as they did payday loan programs. There is no difference except for the fact that you are getting ripped off much longer by Bridgecrest. I understand they are taking chances on people with not so great credit or unestablished credit but I think it can be done without beating the everyday working class person into the ground any further. How are you ever supposed to be able to try and better yourself with these odds against you. Very frustrating
There should be a ZERO STARS option. Bridgecrest is an absolute scam! The worst customer service, they sat on my payoff for over two weeks! What the hell kind of garbage operation are they running?!? I've reported them to every possible financial regulation and government entity. Their disclosures are vague, they don't adhere to any of their so called response timelines. I've spoken to some of the most rude, condescending agents I've ever heard. On a call with them now going on 90 minutes because I absolutely refuse to deal with this company one more day. I'm going to make it my mission to bury this fraudulent, predatory lender!
I just got a collection call from them... it was due on a Sunday and it's Monday at 11:00 am. What?!?! They have a horrible interest rate and even worse business practice. Do not finance with this company.
They have horrible service and received a payoff check in amount of over 13,000 dollars and literally repo'ed my car because I owed $100.13. So ridiculous, didn't even give me a heads up that it was happening. And this is the second car I paid off with them.
I bought a $6000. 00 truck. I made 36 of 48 payment of $235.00. That's over $8000. 00. I was informed that my balance was $*******. 00. I told them to come get the truck and now I have a $19,000 balance in collections and it's killing my credit. Not only that. They routinely will charge off the debt and then resubmit it a month later to keep it as a new debt. This kind of business should be illegal and the corporate heads should be jailed for their criminal ways
I would give 0 stars if I could. Anytime there is an issue this company makes everything worse. They do not try to work with the customer, they never have any information, and have 100 departments that open at different times just to make it even more difficult to get anything done. This company is truly a RIP off and I can not wait to be done with them. I've been owing the same 5,000 dollars on my car for a year now which is strange. Customer service is also poor and lack luster. This company needs to be shut down!
Horrible experience. I paid off my loan because I'm selling my car. Now they told me they are keeping the title for 10 business days in case the payment doesn't go through. Understandable for a check, but not when you pay directly from your bank account, they take the money and even send you emails and text confirming. They need to revise the company policy. James, a supervisor, tried to convince me that I could ask the bank to reverse the payment, which I know it's not possible. Never again financing through Bridgecrest or Carvana
I pay them every month and they still took additional months payment. They don't care about your situation. Customer service is horrible. They have jobs because they have customers; so they need to remember that! Hopefully this terrible company will shut down and those same wack $#*! customer service reps will be out of a job asking their debtors for help. They don't even deserve 1 star!
So I have not been a Bridgecrest customer for months now. Bridgecrest is still negatively affecting my life. Listen people if you have any problems what so ever that can affect your finances (like a pandemic) don't use this company. They have become vindictive and they are holding my credit score hostage. I have had to take legal action and hire an attorney. Might want to look elsewhere. If it's to good to be true it is.
Do not trust this company. I used them to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted through Carvana before someone else did, but that was a huge mistake. In my opinion they're greedy. No wonder Carvana is in financial crisis, from what I've read, using this company they're associated with to finance loans. I also read about how many people have had huge issues getting their title from them, which is a huge issue when refinancing to escape they're ridiculously high interest rate.
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
The company's reputation is significantly marred by a plethora of negative feedback, with customers consistently expressing frustration over poor customer service, unresponsive communication, and perceived predatory lending practices. Common complaints include difficulties in modifying payment dates, aggressive collection tactics, and excessive fees that exacerbate financial burdens. While a few customers report satisfactory experiences when loans are kept current, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of support and empathy from the company. This pervasive dissatisfaction suggests a need for substantial improvements in customer relations and service transparency to enhance overall customer experience and trust.
