From the first conversation with Jeff Astor I felt like he represented Broad Financial professionally and efficiently and was very responsive when I contacted him with questions. Also the support staff was very, very efficient, to the point that I couldn't keep up efficiently with providing what I needed to. This is a rare and admirable quality in business today. Usually the customer has to keep pressing to get answers and to complete transactions and services in a timely manner, and a lot of times it isn't received well and the customer gets a lot of pre-scripted answers and responsed. In my experience with this process, embarrassingly I have been the one holding up the process in most cases. Overall a very positive and seamless experience.

One glitch involved the transfer of funds from my IRA administrator that caused a one week delay. The form for the transfer provided a blank to enter the "approximate" amount of the funds to be transferred, presumably to allow for market fluctuations in the value of the account. My request was rejected by the IRA administrator because of a requirement that the account maintain a minimum balance. The initial response was to required Broad Financial to resend a request at a lower level to leave the minimum balance intact. Since I intended to close the account anyway the administrator made an exception and transferred the funds in the exact amount of my "approximate" estimate. I suggest the form be more clear so that the administrator understands the intent being to close the account or leave an account open with the balance transferred adjusted to maintain the minimum balance.

I am very satisfied with the process to setup my IRA LLC. The process was simple and problem free. I understood how things worked as I had done some research ahead and Jay Goldblatt confirmed my findings and ensured a smooth process.

Great experience and very helpful. Got our documents in the mail, set up our bank account very easily and already got funds transferred from one account and bought our first investment within the Solo 401k.

Hope to have no problems with irs when we have our taxes done. Everything went well with the transfer of our ira $ to our ira checking acct. Have bought a rental home with part of the ira funds and are hoping to add enough $ to add another soon.

I called with a question for Jeff as I was preparing to complete my binder before heading to my bank to open my account but was directed to another guy. Although he answered my question, I felt as though I was inconveniencing him. I know everyone has a bad day but I felt he was not enthusiastic as Jeff had been with me. Other than that Everything has gone as promised. Any questions my bank had for me was answered by my supplied folder. I went to transfer money from my IRA at my broker and was met with still more questions in which the supplied form supplied. He wasn't exactly happy with me but that was his problem. All in all a very painless transition. Looking forward to controlling my own growth thanks to Broad Financial!

I opened my self-directed Ultimate IRA in January of 2018 and I am very pleased that I did. Opening and getting it funded went very smoothly. The Government rules are strict with financial penalties for violations but Mark Weissman and others at Broad Financial have always been available to keep me from violating the rules. Broad also knows banks and investment firms familiar with self-directed IRAs and their recommendations of such firms have proven to be invaluable. Although Broad Financial does the heavy lifting with set-up and operating guidance, Madison Trust Company has been great to deal with as well. I highly recommend Broad and Madison and respect their advice with regard to my Ultimate IRA.

We started with Seth, when we were considering a Self Directed IRA. After further discussion, Seth steered us to Avi, who put us in a Solo IRA.

We were happy with both. They are competent, knowledgeable, and most importantly, patient.

My LLCs creations were swift, simple, and thorough. All I needed to do was come up with some names and go find a bank for my checking accounts. If you want or need to aet up a self directed IRA, Broad Financial is who you want to do it with.

Retirement plans, in general, almost force you to invest in the market. But I have always been confounded by the market. I don't have time to study, and without study - and sometimes even with it - it seems like gambling to me! I am thrilled to have found Broad Financial's Solo401k product. I was able to pull my retirement funds out of the market and put it into a rental property. The ups and downs aren't as thrilling as in the market, but I see a clear and steady path to growth.
