Terrible communication
December 21, 2020

Website did not indicate that the item would take 20 days to ship. I have contacted the company 3 times regarding tracking my order and have gotten a different answer all 3 times. I still don't know where the item is, if or when it was shipped or when it will arrive (if at all), and I was told today that I could not cancel my order and get a refund because it's already been processed. I should have listened to my gut and stuck with known sellers/shippers.

Paid $46 got $26 back

The span of time between the time I ordered to the time I got my refund was right at 2 months. I didn't get a full refund because they charge $10 to ship things back as well as a nonrefundable $8.99 for the original shipping. I spent $46.31 and got $26.55 back. I order the comforter a size smaller to avoid it dragging on my floor like shown in their ad and the full size comforter still touched the ground on my queen size bed, which is why I returned it. So not only was the product disappointing but so was the customer service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Don't order from this company!
They charged my mom for a pre-lit wreath that didn't come. They also charged her $50 for shipping. Just go to Amazon.

False advertising
November 28, 2020

Purchased curtains advertised to be "Blackout" curtains. Took 3 weeks to arrive and when they finally do, I find out that a flashlight can shine right through then. They cant block out the street lamp outside my bedroom. Paid $8.99 postage for them to ship it to me, now they want $9.99 postage for me to ship it back if I want a refund. What a scam, they lie about the characteristics of their product, then force you to pay to return it. Recommend you do not shop at this site.

Everything was misleading
November 21, 2020

From comforter I ordered in a full instead of queen size to not have it draped on the floor like in the picture, to the return process, to it being 17 days after receiving my FIRST email claiming they got my item, mind you I got the email 2 more times the following days so when did they really start working on my return. It's also odd that I didn't get these emails until Nov 4th, when USPS last interaction with it was 6 days after dropping it off n Oct 26, so who handled it between the 26th and the 4th. Just causing too many questions. The first email claims the got the item on the 4th, the second 2 claims were on Nov 5th, well it's Nov 21 and I still don't have the return in my account. I called them on Tuesday and was told that there end needs 3-5 business days and it may be an additional 3-5 business days to get into my account. That would have put me at thursday the 19th, it's now the 21st. I returned the item at a $10 loss due to them taking return shipping out the refund and yet I still am out about ~$36, which might not seem like much to some but that's $6 less than my SMUD bill or cover the taxes on a new phone as mine is giving out, so yea that money spent on a comforter that would have been draped/dragging on my floor could be used elsewhere in my life.

Bathtub storage pole

Brylane Home was a good company 20 years ago with quality products. I have as of late returned items that did not meet my standards, or Wal Marts for that matter. I can truly buy better quality at W. M. but let me say I think they sell a lot of junk also. I shopped by catalog and phone for 40 years and my mother did before me, when the world was a Catalog Cornucopia, but we always got great value. I no longer expect that from B. H. I recently purchased a Bathtub Storage Pole. I understand backorders and have no problem with the 2 month wait, it happens! ( get over yourselves young ones) Unfortunately what i received is a wobbly badly made joke. I'm actually shocked that anyone would think this is an acceptable product! I'm keeping it against my better judgement because my brother had a stroke and now lives with me and i need storage and have more important things to worry about. If it last 6 months I'll be surprised. B. Home can I tell u what u should do with all your crappy Polished Cotten and Microfiber sheets? Stop selling garbage! I feel so bad for this generation they have no idea what quality is, or that sheets and furniture use to last 25 years or longer.

Don't bother
October 16, 2020

I ordered a bedspread and two days later I got an email stating that the product was not in stock. No information about when or if it would ever be in stock. They do not advertise a phone number to call because they don't want to talk. They go out of their way to hide any contact information except an internet form to fill out. It took an hour to find a number but I did and called. Got the run around on the phone. They said it was in processing and payment could not be returned. I don't know how it could be in processing if it is out of stock. I probably lost my money and the product. It is despicable for any company to take advantage of retirees or anyone during this time of Covid 19. We are all struggling but companies like Brylanehome and Fullbeauty brands are the most despicable because they use this time to take advantage of people stuck in their homes.

I ordered a week ago and receive a email today saying my product is on backorder and I will not get it for like two months. I called the customer service and they said theres nothing they can do about it besides cancel when I need the product I ordered. There website is very misleading you will think your getting a product during a certain amount of time and then they'll send a email changing all expectations.

You see it's in stock when I ordered so who is responsible

I just had the worst experience with this company. I ordered 2 curtain panels from. I received 1 in the mail and was charged for that one. Then I find out the 2nd curtain panel is backordered and then they cancel that order all together. So, I'm left with 1 curtain panel - not what I ordered. I read their return policy and tried to print a return label online, but was unable so I called them. They tell me their system won't bring up the curtain panel they sent AND charged me for so they are unable to issue a return label and I must pay out of my pocket to return an item that in reality was not what I ordered. A manager said this would be cheaper because they would have charged me $9.99 for the return label... this is NOT in their return policy if you go read it online. Absolutely ridiculous & terrible customer service. I will never order from this joke of a company again & neither should you.

Terrible service

Brylane says it will ship product within a reasonable timeframe and then simply doesn't ship it. They blame the product manufacturer (for my order, I believe this is Skylane) and say that they can e-mail Skylane but do not know when Skylane will reply. To that I say: if you can't manage your supply, that is not the customer's problem. Stop advertising that manufacturer's product and misrepresenting that it can be shipped within 2 weeks if that's not true. I spent $860 at this company that said the product would arrive at my house within 7-12 business days. It is now 17 business days past when I submitted my order, and it still has not even shipped, nobody can tell me when it will ship, and it definitely is no where near arrival at my house. Based on the other reviews, I fear the condition it will arrive in, and I dread a return scenario. This place is a logistical mess.

SCAMMERS

I ordered 4 lounge chairs and two matching tables. The tables arrived which I had to pay shipping charges, The tables arrived but the chairs were back ordeerd, I was informed the chairs have been canceled so now I have to return the tables on my own dime, NOT fair since I cannot use the tables without the chairs

Pedaling Chinese junk!

I was excited to order what they called Featherstone flamingos for my yard. They're not real Featherstone flamingos. They are made in China knock-offs. They faded within one week to a blanched white color.
I have two real Don Featherstone flamingos that have withstood direct sunlight for 3 months so far and show no signs of fading.

Horrible customer service

Ordered an outdoor recliner. The frame was bent on one end and the screw holes were misaligned. Impossible to put it together. Called to return it and got the run around. Customer service at this company is customer avoidance. Will never do business with them again..

Bad Business Practices

Firstly, my Brylanne Homes credit card was cancelled because I didn't use in awhile. Secondly, I then purchased an item with my Pay Pal account and now I can't exchane it for another item because it didn't fit. I don't need to do business with company like this., I have been a Brylanne Customer for 20 plus years. Too Bad!

Purchased 2 outdoor chaise lounges, umbrella stand and umbrella. After hours of attempting to put together, the product was not made properly (predrilled screw holes did not line up) I gave up and asked for a refund. They only refunded one lounge as i had not opened the other. They did not want to have it returned either. Umbrella never came as it was on back order. Lost hundreds of dollars - went back and forth with customer service who offered 50% - which i did not take but ultimately that is what i got. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN. Let the buyer beware.

Brylane home tries to trick me with their very SNEAKY FALSE 40% off catalogs! They use this as a cover to RIP me off! It's a big SCAM! Where they got their prices already"PRE-SET" for me to think I'm saving $, but I'm not! People beware of these catalogs with their prices in RED INK! It's a F'N scam! Then today when I tried to order from another catalog with no RED INK on their prices, I tried to use a 40% coupon from their site exp 7. 31. 20, then the rep tells me it's not a valid coupon! Omfg! I hear the BBB calling me! Brylane home you need to stop your BS & stop ripping people off! Your crooks & sharks! Stop it cuz if it wasn't for us customers, you'd be out of business! So I bought a set of sheets elsewhere! For less money too!

This company does not stand behind anything they sell. You have 60 days from shipment for them to RECEIVE a return back. If it fails, doesn't work properly, or in any way requires repair after that, your problem.

You can spend $650 on an office chair, and have start degassing on day 65, oh well, you didn't return it on time. Would you like to order a new chair? Seriously? They don't even offer a discount on a replacement!

Stay away for your own good. Absolute WORST in customer service.

I know, buyer beware, but I thought the chair was a pretty color. Seriously, there are a LOT better websites out there.

Ordered four outdoor wicker chairs on sale. One of the chairs was constructed differently than the others, it's hard to tell from afar but when you are sitting in the chairs you can tell one of them is different. Another chair did not ship with the cushion and pillow as it should have. When I chatted with customer service they were extremely unhelpful and asked me to email them a "picture of the missing items" so they could investigate. As far as I know it is impossible to email a picture of something that is MISSING from the shipment. Had better luck when I called customer service. I was told they they DO NOT ship any "replacement" parts. Explained it was not a replacement -- I never received the item. Then I was told they could still not ship any "smaller" parts and I can't send it back for an exchange because the package is too big. The only option I was offered was a 10% discount on that item, came out to about $15 refund. Had to take it since it was the ONLY option they offered.

Won't order from them again... two errors out of four products = 50% failure rate. Disappointing.
