We needed to start our registry for our first baby. Being new to this we needed help. Troy at the Brooklyn location was so helpful! She walked with us in the store and gave us her honest opinion of what products are best and which ones we should opt away from. Had we not had her help I know for a fact we would have spent many many more hours creating our registry. We were done in about 4 hours which really isn't too long given the infinite number of items to sift through. Thanks Troy!
Horrible customer service was told they will call back in 24 hours and still nothing. I went to pick up my furniture and was told they will not release it to me by myself since it was to heavy 150 175 pounds which I can handle it. There was no help in the store and would have to come back another day even though I purchased and was told it was ready for pick up and drove down from New York

Warning, this is not the same company since the returned after bankruptcy. The new website appears to be a sort of middle man without any idea of what their actual inventory is. I order a nursery set and it took 10 days for them to figure out they didn't have it.
Customer support does not seem like real people or they are in another country. Expect responses like "Please be rest assure I will treat your request on priority and will resolve this at the earliest". There is no option to call them.
Based on my experience with the order and customer support, I would be skeptical of the products they do actually ship. Beware.
I ordered a gift on 1/15. It is now 1/24 and it seems the gift still has not been shipped. They said it had "been picked up, but not packaged " yet. If you have an intended date that you need something by, I would suggest Amazon instead.
I had gotten a 20% coupon by entering my email address.The coupon was sent to my email with a bar code. After entering the barcode numerous times without any success I just picked out several items from the gift registry and during checkout was still not able to apply the coupon despite trying many times. I finally gave up on the coupon and placed the order. Later on in the day I see they shipped out 1 of the 4 gifts I picked out. That means the recipient will get the gifts in multiple packages on different days instead of everything at one time
I am very disappointed with this entire experience.

The car seat I purchased was in stock when I ordered it. A couple days later it went out of stock. I've been waiting over 2 months. They keep sending updates that it is now in stock abd posting that on their website. Do not buy from them. They ate advertising fir items they don't have and don't know when they will have them in stock again. Scam company if ya ask me.

During quarantine it has been difficult to shop! But buybuybaby made shopping for my cousin's baby shower easy! It took me about 10 minutes total. I didn't have to go to a store and wear a mask. I bought the first 9 things on her registry and it was sent to me in less then a week! I was very impressed! Thanks!
My daughter and her husband used this company for her shower registry and then purchased an expensive baby dresser from them. The dresser arrived severely damaged and she has not been able to get a hold of anyone from the company for help. They ended up having to purchase another one from Crate and Barrel. Highly recommend that company as their experience with Crate and Barrel was amazing!
I made a first time purchase as a gift for my daughter. A few days later I get this form letter email that my order is cancelled. No reason, no explanation. What kind of company does this? Now I have to buy it at a store that actually wants my business. Will make sure to tell my daughter and all of her friends to stay away from BuyBuyBaby.
Ordered items from registry. Delivery estimate was a joke. Items arrived in separate orders. Last and most expensive item never showed up. System said shipped but no other info avail. 2 mos later after phone calls and many emails I still have not received refund on item never shipped. So annoyed with this company. NEVER AGAIN!
After waiting on the phone for an average of 45 min several times, trying their chat function just to have a robot tell me that it's looking into my order for 1.5 hours, and just never being able to get actual help from someone, I would recommend to anyone to think twice before buying anything from this store. The customer service is awful and its existence has no other purpose than to pretend that they actually deal with customers. They don't- they just leave you hanging.
Ordered gift from Buy Buy Baby registry. It showed in stock and estimated delivery in 3 days. After a week of waiting, I checked the tracking and it then showed delivery in 3 months. I called to complain and was told the order could not be cancelled/refunded because they don't guarantee delivery. 3 months vs. 3 days! Really! I'll never order from this place again. Go with a reputable company that actually knows the meaning of customer service.
Ordered specific detergent for my son who had a skin reaction, product came 3 days later than originally said on their website, product was damaged. Took over hour to get into contact with someone on chat who wasn't polite, or friendly. They're sending one replacement detergent, though both were leaked on and damaged. Will take an additional 5 days at least to get replacement. Should have purchased off amazon.

I had to call 5 times about an order only to be told five different things before finally being told my order was lost. No one knew what they were doing and the supervisor was rude. Worst place ever! Don't buy from them!
I bought a crib & dresser set for my expecting daughter. SIX pieces came damaged. I sent pictures over to the customer service department, they started a claim. For TWO weeks they kept saying that the replacement parts needed to come from the vendor and they were still waiting for a response. After I threatened to dispute the charges on my credit card, they reluctantly agreed to ship a new crib. A month after the order was placed, we have a new crib but still a broken unusable dresser. Every time you call, the escalation "specialist" assigned to the case is not in and no one can provide updated information. I will NEVER make a purchase with them again. I had horrible experience with Bed Bath & Beyond and stopped shopping there as well.
I have a baby registry here and have purchased thousands of dollars in merchandise. When I needed customer service on the phone or email (I tried both unsuccessfully), they did not answer my emails, kept me on hold for extended lengths of time, never answering, had a non-working number some days. At a time when I cannot physically go to the store (because they are all closed due to shelter in place) this company should provide customer service on phone and email. This is ridiculous. I am going to order the remainder of my baby needs from Amazon because there I would be able to return something and get in touch with someone regarding damaged goods.
Worst experience with this brand. We are expecting a baby and wanted to shop bunch of items worth $800. We researched and decided to also apply for reward points as we were getting a great deal because of it on thanksgiving. After placing order, they cancelled it but they did charged us for the reward points. We contacted the customer care 2 - 3 times and all were useless. We tried through different account as well and had same experience.
Also when I registered for baby shower, they welcome bag contained only a manual, bottle, pacifier and on sample of lotion.
Completely disappointed with the service.
Will never waste time again at this brand.

The Long Branch store had taken over 2 thousand dollars as payment in full for my daughters nursery over 2 months ago and when we called to find out the delivery status we were told they never put the order in, although we are holding the printed order in our hands they do not have furniture for us, the store employees show no empathy for the error and do not return calls. You cannot make this up. 8 weeks away from baby's due date we are now to search for furniture and hope for a refund timely. Shame on you BuyBuyBaby... The worst experience you could possibly have! Beware consumers!
Do not have them deliver any order. Have it delivered to the store or purchase at the store. We ordered furniture, and it was an absolute nightmare. 2 months later still waiting for a crib and literally no one can assist us. They send your request to another department, and the new department never gets back to you. They are hard to understand, and no one every has answers. As a very pregnant woman who is about to be a first time mother- this is a stress I did not need. Horrible.

I placed order beginning of June. Still have not received. I've called customer service 3 times, waiting on hold about 50 minute each time being told original order lost and new order placed and still nothing. Also wrote them an email and received instant response back that emails r not monitored regularly at this time. So if u have an issue u will have to wait almost an hour to speak with anyone and be prepared to do it more than once.
My crib was shipped to a different state even though the delivery was based on the baby registry address. After I contacted customer service, they were very difficult to understand. Not to mention the fact that they said multiple times that they could not guarantee that my crib would get there in a reasonable amount of time after they resubmitted the order three weeks after I ordered it. No way to identify the customer service rep even though I asked for an identifying associate number. When I asked for email confirmation it was extremely vague saying in order has been submitted, no guarantee on that though.

My cousin ordered an Strollers from this particular company but she said that it is not very quality one and it is damaged very faster. I don't know why this happened. If they are provided quality one then money wont be waste. If they try to provide good items for their customers then it is really appreciated.
. During pregnancy, I started to be interested in the company, so I ordered many items needed for my baby. Now, when my baby ;) is two years old, I still buy their clothes and accessories, and I'm satisfied.
So apparently guys are invited to baby showers now a days. This website made it easy for me to find my friend's registry and buy exactly what they wanted and have it delivered to their door. And it marks it as purchased so there will be no duplicates.
