We needed to start our registry for our first baby. Being new to this we needed help. Troy at the Brooklyn location was so helpful! She walked with us in the store and gave us her honest opinion of what products are best and which ones we should opt away from. Had we not had her help I know for a fact we would have spent many many more hours creating our registry. We were done in about 4 hours which really isn't too long given the infinite number of items to sift through. Thanks Troy!
Horrible customer service was told they will call back in 24 hours and still nothing. I went to pick up my furniture and was told they will not release it to me by myself since it was to heavy 150 175 pounds which I can handle it. There was no help in the store and would have to come back another day even though I purchased and was told it was ready for pick up and drove down from New York
Ordered items on March 15,2021. Items are for a virtual baby shower on March 27. Received email conformation of order saying delivery date was March 19. Next day I received another email says revised delivery for March 20. Initiated online chat at Buybuy baby web site. Was told to be rest assured it would be delivered on or before March 26. All tracking info says delivery date will be March 30. I called and spoke with someone today March 22 and was told item delivery date is March 30. There is nothing they can do about it. Now I won't have the items for the baby shower. When I placed the order, there were no warnings of possible delivery delays. Very unprofessional and frustrating. Will never order from the company again

Three of the four products delivered were not only moldy, but also damaged. Their customer service department takes hours to answer phones and then does not follow through with their promises. Avoid this company. They are the worst on line store I have ever encountered.
Ordered two paddleboards. Never arrived. Emails returned undelivered. No one answers the phones. It's a scam. They took our money. We had to have charges disputed. Do not use them. They advertise on Facebook.

We have been having an awful time with our registry. We had only one item bought off our registry and it looked like at least four things were bought in the thank yous. We found out that that no one had bought anything and what we needed was removed because it said it was bought. It was brought to our attention right before giving birth and we never had a shower. Family asked us if we have a registry and to make one and now we didn't have any sort of celebration and we're rushing around trying to get ready for the baby who had nothing and now we're weeks away. The customer service also never corrected the errors. They didn't even speak English and answered with ohhh huh and didn't understand what I said. I called a handful of times and no help. In fact they were impossible to hear like they were on the other side of the planet far. This was a huge mistake!
Ordered a pricey gift off a registry and it didn't get marked "purchased". Sent 3 emails with no response then tried to call. After listening to "how important my call was" to them I finally got tired of waiting and hung up. Thank goodness I found the $900 stroller $200 cheaper on another site with no tax or shipping. Very disappointed with so few stores concentrating on baby products that this company can't seem to get the simple stuff right.
Purchased a carseat online for my daughter since she outgrew it. The only reason we shopped here was because we had a gift card that needed to be used. The shipping was free and she could stay in her current carseat until it arrived. Well, my order is still "being processed" and hasn't shipped long after it was supposed to be DELIVERED! When you check on your order status there's a blurb stating that they are experiencing longer than average processing time with no other explanation. By the way, nowhere on the site did they mention this extended processing time, not until you buy something. No one is able to give me further information on my order. Just because you're experiencing longer processing times isn't a catch-all excuse to not do your job and keep your customers informed. Unprofessional and shady. Once they get your money they don't care about you. Shop anywhere else.
Ordered a few things today on a registry, made out card but forgot to put my name upon completion. Was told it's too late for changed after 30 mins. Ugh! On the card come on, not changing or canceling order. Won't order from them again.
My large order was delivered to NY when I'm in CA. They don't know why but they can't do anything besides blame their vendors and have me wait 14 days to get a replacement! I invested hours on the phone with customer service and live hat for them just to be sassy and repeat the same automatic scripted answer. All k asked was to get my pacakage 7 days after I had placed my order!

What a scam! The “vendor” shipped my package to a different state and they said they will set up a replacement and that I need to wait 10 days for a replacement !!!! Spent hours on the phone just to get an ear full of scripted answers!
This company is a scam. White glove service does not exist. The crib was never delivered and here we are with no refund for a product that they said was damaged and sent back to the manufacturer and I still did not get a refund. Never ordering from them again!
They sent an item that was 60% lesser value than what was originally ordered. After it was returned, they failed to send the original product that was ordered. Supposedly they sent a return merchandise credit, but that was never received. Customer service is terrible - they do not care and are not willing to take responsibility for their mistakes. Stay away!
I ordered a carseat on 7/3/23, the site said it would ship 3-5 days. It is now 8/6/23, over a month later, & I have not received it. Even the tracking number doesn't tell anything. Very disappointed...

I'm very disappointed that I saw a specific delivery date, then it shows as not even having shipped by the time it was supposed to be delivered, then having an agent tell me it actually will get here on time, and then another agent saying that it actually won't. What a messed up shopping experience!
If I could give less than one star I would! Buy buy to Buy Buy Baby. Worst customer service. Horrible online market shopping and shipping is inaccurate. Thank goodness for Target to save the day! And my bank to back me up. Thank First Community Credit Union for always having my best interest and safe banking needs. I absolutely would never recommend Buy Buy Baby to any family enless you want your money taken and get nothing from it but a headache. Just horrible people.
Received a gift for my baby shower. Unfortunately had to return the gift. Went on their website and it clearly states - gift purchaser will have no idea that you returned the gift. I drove to fedex shipped it off and 9 days later haven't heard anything. I tracked the package which was delivered - I emailed support twice in 4 days never heard back. Call wait time was over an hour so I called at 6am PST this morning got someone right away to tell me that they shipped a visa gift card to the purchaser. Nothing they could do. I asked why and the gentleman I spoke to did not have an answer other than well if she bought it she gets the return. I'm like that's NOT how gift returns work ANYWHERE else. He's like it's too late. HORRIBLE company. Lies on their website. And now I can't get something I actually need and the gift giver knows I returned it.
A friend purchased a gift off our registry over 2 months ago and the item has still not been delivered (it is in-stock). I have called customer service multiple times and they have been unable to help me in that the item is still just sitting in the warehouse waiting for pickup for delivery by the carrier. I even asked if they could just swap it out for one that is in the local store and I would go pick it up but apparently that is not do-able. This is not the first issue we have had with our registry at BBB, and I certainly do NOT recommend anyone use them for their baby registry in the future. A lot of wasted time trying to track down an item, with no help from the company, while they get to keep the inventory and my friend's money. Sounds like theft to me.
Horrible customer service! Don't waste your time and don't do a registry here. You will get duplicate gifts because they do not take the gift you purchase off the registry. If they don't and you try to get it fixed there is not one person in the Scarsdale store that can fix it. They try, but not one person is trained on how to remove gifts purchased off the registry. I have spent eight hours today on the phone trying to get it fixed. Don't bother calling the 800 customer service number as they can only fix online orders. This was the worst shopping experience I ever had in a store. I will continue to write reviews on this store until they fix it. I would rate it no stars but they do not offer that option.
I can't believe Buy Buy Baby's customer service. I tried ordering a book from them and have received the exact same incorrect book 4 times! After spending the entire day each instance trying to contact them, they still have yet to rectify the situation! The customer service at this company is appalling and I do NOT reccomend shopping here!
Cindy at the Indianapolis store was amazing & went above & beyond to look for a piece I was missing that was purchased over two years ago! I really really appreciate what she did & haven't experienced that type of service in a long time anywhere!
We purchased a brand new crib in April 2020. It arrived a few weeks later, three of the pieces were damaged. We worked with support and they told us over email in writing that new pieces would be shipped immediately (3-10 business days). 3 weeks later we still hadn't received anything so we emailed to check up and we got a response that said they are sorry and they can't send us the pieces without us shipping the old ones back. I did not have the material to package them, I went to a nearby store and the manager was nice enough to help me pack them and ship it. A week later we received another email that the item is not in stock and they don't know when they will get it. This has been the worst experience imaginable for us and my 33 week pregnant wife. Considering all the shipping delays going on in the world we may never have a crib in time for our baby. Deeply saddened by this experience for my wife and her experience along the journey.
I ordered a night light and socks that were supposed to be gift wrapped which were not and no wrapping paper enclosed. I paid 4.49 for socks that were plainly marked 1.99. I'm going to get my niece to try the night light right away to see if the thing even works. Who runs this place!
I cant tell you how many items I have put on my registry. All for them to be out of stock or discontinued with no notification of this! I would add something then go on and check and it would be discontinued or unavailable... OR as I'm browsing through stuff online to add to my registry I would click on many items all for them to be unavailable... then why have them even posted to the website? Also shipping takes FOREVER like a week, and sometimes a week and a half. If I bought like 4 small things sometimes they would come all shipped separately on separate days. Just kinda sucks
After expending 4 days creating a baby registry I found out that the link is not available for buyers outside Canada or US. Call center service was terrible, they said they cant do nothing and was not their fault that I was frustrated. It doesnt make sense that people from abroad can not purchase a gift to someone in Canada. And if this is the way it is, it should be advised to moms before letting them expend their valuable time creating a registry that will not work.
I placed an order online and received a confirmation date of delivery for 10 days after. However after that I kept receiving emails of the order being delayed about 2 more times. When I finally called they gave me the run around and said it would ship out soon. Almost a month later and still no delivery, they put a status of shipped but they haven't even shipped it and this I know because I contacted fedex. I called again and spoke to a "supervisor" after waiting and being transferred from person to person for over 3 hours. "Supervisor" had no knowledge whatsoever. Instead of helping me he transferred me to the store and the store told me they couldn't do anything about it because that item was an online item. So I had to call the customer service line again and be on hold for another 1 1/2 and after that still no solution. No answer as to where my order is, why it hasn't shipped, or when it will even ship.
I'm very disturbed and feel like my privacy has been violated. I started receiving emails from Buy Buy Baby before I even knew what it was. Not only did I start receiving emails, they were coming in on my security-protected work email that I never give out. This means the company must have used some manner of fraud to identify and obtain my email. Probably through some means of buying info and data pertaining to my internet searches because I am pregnant and have been googling a lot of things about babies. Either way, I am not impressed. I did not give them permission to use my email. Annoyed.
Lies after lies, had to call these people at least 4 times in 3 week, each time I would get a different story. First it was cancelled even thou I was getting confirmation emails of the package, second it was supposedly shipped express at no extra charge to me on a Wednesday and was supposed to be there Saturday, another lie, I was charged extra for shipping and again no package, called again and they said it was not fully processed yet and wouldn't be until the following Monday, called again 2 hours after to cancel, and they said it would be hard to cancel because order was already at the shipping company, how do I get two different stories on the same day. They are full of lies, wasted a lot of time on the phone with them and still had to fly in and go straight to a store to get my item before the baby shower. It was very stressful to deal with this company, stay away, order somewhere else.
