We needed to start our registry for our first baby. Being new to this we needed help. Troy at the Brooklyn location was so helpful! She walked with us in the store and gave us her honest opinion of what products are best and which ones we should opt away from. Had we not had her help I know for a fact we would have spent many many more hours creating our registry. We were done in about 4 hours which really isn't too long given the infinite number of items to sift through. Thanks Troy!
Horrible customer service was told they will call back in 24 hours and still nothing. I went to pick up my furniture and was told they will not release it to me by myself since it was to heavy 150 175 pounds which I can handle it. There was no help in the store and would have to come back another day even though I purchased and was told it was ready for pick up and drove down from New York
Today I went and spent so much money on my grandsons - when I got to the register I asked her if she could help me with coupons or any Memorial Day deal she turns and says go look in the store for the stuff on sale! Ridiculous their coupons are always a pain they have no Wi-Fi!
The first surface level issue is you're limited to what they carry in stock (meaning, you can't link items from other retailers). Then I tried to delete my account and there was no way to do it on my own (I'm tech savvy, I googled it, could not do it). I wrote to them to delete my account, no answer. I tried to log into the site to at least delete the items on my registry (family/friend were getting confused thinking that was my up to date registry, because it comes up on google under my name) and I could not log in (the system re-directed me to create an account). I chatted with an agent who asked me for my name and email 2 different times to help me and said IT was working on the issue. It's 2022 people! Lol After various attempts the agent was finally able to access my registry and delete the items. I had to google my registry to give him/her my registry ID (because they couldn't pull it with just a name and email lol).
I returned this order to the store for a refund with the original package and the store shipped it to the warehouse without the original package, so they returned it to me because it was shipped to the warehouse from the store without the original package, so I called buybuybaby and a nice lady apologized and asked me to return it again and she put a note on the order.
So I did returned it and the warehouse shipped it again to me.
I have a huge messed up box infront of the door.
Second thing I talked to a supervisor and he started shouting at me because I was saying that I need to return it and it's not my mistake, so I asked for his name and he didn't want to tell me his name and he hanged up on me.

I've ordered a crib for my baby six weeks ago and still not receive it yet. I called customer service and after expending many hours on the phone they said that my crib will be deliver whithin a week and then they called me again saying that it was going to take one week more and that they were going to call me again to confirm my delivery which never happened. I'm still calling them with no answers and still not receiving my crib. Don't order furniture from buy buy baby it sucks. I'm so upset and definitely never going to buy anything from this store again.
The price of the fisher price baby swing was $169.00, the register scanned $180. So watch and be aware of the prices of the itemd you're buying. I think the store is sneaky. I caught them charging me more than the price tag.
Also save your receipts, bc when return something without a receipt they charge 20% and had to be within 90 days. This policies are not posted any where or not disclosed to customers. Also returning an item minus 20% the remaining amount will not be given as cash or credit... the store will give you a store credit which is unfair. Customers have no choice, so be aware. I view this is a sneaky store, taking advantage of Customers.

Back in October I had ordered a gift for a friend off of her registry. The package had been in transit in Atlanta since October 21st. It is now December 10th. The baby shower came and still no package! A few weeks ago I tried calling and was unable to talk to an actual person only a voicemail. Would have preferred to email but no email account was listed.

Received a defective Snuza. In order to receive a new one, they must receive the old one before they will send out a new one. Also, if they don't carry the item in store, you can either go to a store that carries it or return online. Because new mom's have nothing better to do than drive around.
Thank goodness for Amazon. Remember... Amazon will send out a replacement for a defective item immediately. Easy exchanges.
I recently went to the Totowa New Jersey store of buybuy baby to purchase a gift from the registry. I waited 20 minutes for someone To help me. When they finally came, it took them another 20 minutes to figure out what it was I needed. They were not happy that I wasn't walking out of the store with the item but sending it to an out-of-state friend. Then, I stood online to purchase some small items. There were at least 10 people ahead of me and only 1 person working the register. It's no wonder stores are closing and people are doing more shopping online. I am in sales myself. If I treated my customers like this, I'd be out of business as well. It's very, very frustrating!
I purchased and returned contours universal infant carseat adapter and stroller child tray. I am owed 95.37 dollars refund through the return of this purchase made online at buybuybaby.com. I've called customer service no less than half a dozen times, gotten the service rep to acknowledge they received this return, and PROMISE to refund me the money every time, and week after week fall short on that same promise. At this point I've spend no less than 12 hours of my personal time on this matter.
The customer service reps lied to me half a dozen times, and have refused to let me speak to management.
DONT DO IT! Dealing with this company is nearly impossible because 1. They outsource their costumer service to India and you won't be able to understand A word.
2. If you dare to cancel and order because the vendor doesn't have the item and won't be getting it by "estimated delivery time" you will still get charged 20% for "home delivery services" that NEVER even happened. Save yourself the STRESS of dealing with these poorly managed company specially if you are pregnant.
We bought an Uppababy Mesa Infant car seat(which are not cheap by the way. $350.00). I had opened the box to get to know how to use the car seat before installing it. When we went to install the car seat we noticed that the adjustment foot of the base would malfunction when adjusting. I filled out an exchange form online through their website and made it clear I no longer had the box.
3 weeks later I get a giant box on my door step with the Original broken car seat inside, with a note that stated

—Tell me how I'm suppose to know if the item is broken without opening the box?
They said they have to abide by their policy and cannot exchange the item.
** Mind you throughout this process I have had to call and wait on hold for over 2 hours, 3 times.
I am so beyond disappointed with Buybuy baby and their customer service. I will never shop from there again.
I have had the worst experience ever with this store in Summerlin, Nevada. I ordered a changing table and they forgot to order it. Then they forgot to add the changing table part to the dresser so I had to go back and order that separately. That arrived damage twice. Luckily they waived the shipping on that part. A few months later I went back reluctantly to buy the matching crib. They messed up the order at the store. Then the day before it was supposed to be delivered, they cancelled and said it would have to come in two days. And would not guarantee a time despite cancelling on my at the last minute. Do not give this store your business!
I ordered a baby hamper that was only available online and when I received it there was a red stain on the front. I went to return it in the store hoping I could return it and reorder a new one like a simple exchange. The in store customer service lady said she wasn't able to do that but she could give me merchandise credit so I could order the product again. That sounded easy enough so I returned it, got the merchandise credit and went home to order it again online. However, the credit didn't cover shipping so I called their customer service number and explained what happened just asking for free shipping. Why would I have to pay shipping twice when they sent me a bad product? Well the supervisor said the best they could do was give me a discount on the shipping?! That is ridiculous! For something that was their mistake, the least they could do is pay for the shipping! I definitely will not be shopping there anymore!
Missing more than half my packages (alot of them) and we were told they were delivered but they hadn't. Even other replacement items because the sent the wrong items that had been "lost". I doubt we will get replacements at this rate. They failed to do on and said it can't be found or was never put in. This has been the worst registry experience including items marked at bought that wern't and items other bought not marked off so we offended people returning items that we didn't need two of.
Received a damaged crib at the end of May. Took them until July 8th to pick up the damaged crib. When finally picked up, we called to get our refund. After waiting on hold for 1.5 hours, we were told they will call back after two business days because they had to get in touch with the company that picks up the damaged crib. Never received a call back so we called again a week later. Again, waited on hold for over an hour just to be told the same thing about waiting for them to get in touch with the company that picks up the crib. Never got a call back again. We have now called for a fourth time waiting on hold over an hour each time. Today we finally got through to someone and he tried to tell us to wait a day or two again. We refused and asked for management just to be put back on hold for 5 minutes and then heard the call hang up. STILL no refund and it is July 28th! Two months later! This is the worst service I have ever had to deal with.
My son registered and I ordered them a baby stroller. They sent it to his old address in Nevada instead of Texas even though the correct address was on the registry! I contacted them via email and they replied asking for the correct address so they could send a replacement stroller. I gave it to them and asked what to do about the stroller in Nevada. No reply. I emailed a second time and no reply although the website guarantees a response within 72 hours. Also, my son never got the replacement stroller. Then I called and they knew nothing about the replacement stroller! After talking to a rep for almost 30 minutes, they said they would ship the replacement stroller in 5-7 business days and get back to me about what to do about the one in Nevada. No stroller and no reply! Additionally, I spent extra money to get the one in Nevada shipped to my son. I've sent a third email with a canned response. Do not buy from them.
TERRIBLE SERVICE - After three attempts to contact this company chasing an order I finally received a response. "experiencing high volumes" deal with it. Surely this isn't the first year you have experienced Christmas rush, simply not good enough.

I order for buybuybaby and after the date they gave for delivery had not received the item. I called and the agent ssaid they had cancelled the order so I went through them and submitted the order again. It did not show up by the promised date so I called again. They said the order had been cancelled and I was not notified I was sent to a second level agent and they said that their automatic system indicated I had used too many coupons and must be a reseller. They could not override the cancel so they told me they would send a note to the regional manger. Never heard a thing. Ordered from someone else - paid more and will never deal with them again.
Purchased items off my cousins baby registry for her shower... 1 out of the 5 items shipped. The rest never shipped. Purchased everything january 26th. Everytime i contact them they said the orders are on backorder and cannot be cancelled or refunded. I paid with afterpay and had to file a dispute against them. They refuse to refund me and wont make any effort to cancel the items. Her shower passed already and i have no use for these items. Terrible customer service. I will never use them again.
I am blasting Buy Buy Baby. I ordered baby furniture. Within 3 minutes of placing order I called company to correct the shipping address. Did you know that once you place an order no changes can e made? Well, this furniture was going to a military family. After talking to several reps and managers I was told and sent an e mail that address would be corrected. Guess what, they lied! They sent me the furniture. Now I have to pay 100+ dollars to send it to NC from Fla. What horrible customer service. Chantrice from customer service, you all are horrible!
Tried to purchase items for a registry. Good luck finding anything at the Baybrook location. I could not find one thing on the registry. No one willing to help locate items. The print out of the registry is nothing but numbers. NO PICTURES! Will never shop here again! I wouldn't have even given the experience a one but was forced to
Over promise, under deliver. No one on the customer service line. I waited for over an hour with no response. After no assistance with customer service, I attempted to cancel the order online and finally found out, you must cancel within 30 minutes of placing the order or they WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CANCEL. I have never heard of such a cancellation policy. How would you know that? The website contains no cancellation policy.
I tried to use a gift card that was given to me, but the company is not accepting it. How do you take someone's money and not honor the gift card? Unbelievable! I will never shop here again.

With the excitement of having a baby for the first time I really thought buy buy baby would be a good choice for my registry. But unfortunately that wasn't the case. I was so excited and created my registry, my father-in-law was the first person to purchase some thing but he had trouble with the website and had to go to the store to purchase the crib. They also had trouble with the website in store. Eventually the crib gets delivered but of course it's the WRONG crib. I've been going back-and-forth with BuyBuyBaby and the company that delivered the crib but haven't had any answers. I still have the wrong crib. I will now be switching my registry from BuyBuyBaby to target since you can't even purchase anything off of the registry itself. Save yourself the headache!
I ordered a baby car seat for 499. When i received package it's a dinner plate it's so ridiculous. Then i have driven 1 and half hour to exchange and it was raining. I ordered red car seat but they only have black car seat. I have no choice because the due date is tomorrow
What really pisses me off is i spent $20 for gas wasted 3hours and car seat color is not what i want.
