We needed to start our registry for our first baby. Being new to this we needed help. Troy at the Brooklyn location was so helpful! She walked with us in the store and gave us her honest opinion of what products are best and which ones we should opt away from. Had we not had her help I know for a fact we would have spent many many more hours creating our registry. We were done in about 4 hours which really isn't too long given the infinite number of items to sift through. Thanks Troy!
Horrible customer service was told they will call back in 24 hours and still nothing. I went to pick up my furniture and was told they will not release it to me by myself since it was to heavy 150 175 pounds which I can handle it. There was no help in the store and would have to come back another day even though I purchased and was told it was ready for pick up and drove down from New York
Buy Buy Baby I will say does their best to have excellent customer service. However, I was pretty disappointed when they said they would send me ONE welcome box for twins. I told them I would have sent my ultrasound with a photo ID to them just to confirm I am carrying twins. I asked her "So you guys are welcoming only one of my two babies into the world?". The point of the welcome/sample box is to sample... I just thought it was a little crazy being that I am not going to pass the same pacifier back and forth to my babies to see if they take to it.
I called Target for my welcome/sample box and asked if they sent 2 being that I am carrying twins. They were more than happy to help as long as I showed proof that I was carrying twins. They understand the risk of sampling the same products to both babies is unsanitary. I definitely rate target with a 5 star customer service.
We seem to be in a part of the country bothered by flying/biting bugs every year, and now they're back. So we had to get a friendly product for my little ones to keep them safe from bites. I worked for buybuy baby at the Knoxville location for one full year. I witnessed multiple unethical acts from management. Acts ranging from thief, affairs, bullying and cold heartedly lying to customers about their furniture orders.
The people who work at this store are envious. If they see you buying things in the store too many times the employees start gossiping about you and then out of nowhere will make little remarks. These people have no lives outside of the store apparently so they delve into the lives of others.

Paid for the product in full and was promised free next day delivery. Product never arrived. I spent a total of three hours on the phone and with no one taking responsibility or offering a solution I canceled my order.

Went to make a purchase of several items, and wanted to use 2 coupons, different expiration dates but both for 20% off. The cashier said the register says you can't use both, I asked why and she flipped the screen to show me the message, I asked to speak to a manager and she told me the same thing the cashier said, she also said a lot of people have the same issue, blame it on corporate and walked away! I needed both items for my newborn nephew so I didn't have time to go somewhere else, but I will never go there again! The treatment and response was unacceptable!
I placed an order for a baby swing on 8/27 to be delivered from 8/30-9/9 for a baby shower 9/14.9/9 comes and nothing shows up and I call the company only to find out it had never even been shipped. They reordered it for me to be delivered 9/16 ( two days after the shower). It gets delivered on 9/16 but it is a baby bouncer, not the ordered swing even though the shipping label states it is a swing. Call the company again and they said they'd send me a shipping label for a return and ship the correct swing. Then they call me back to say it is out of stock and that is why they substituted the bouncer for the out of stock swing. SERIOUSLY? Who does that? I am going to return the bouncer with the return label and NEVER order from them again. I just ordered the swing from Amazon eta 1 week. This entire fiasco will end up with getting the swing a month after I originally ordered it.

I set up my baby registry three weeks before my baby shower. Everything I had chosen was in stock, and standard, reasonable prices.
When my guests tried to purchase many of the gifts on the registry, more then half of them said "unavailable."
I received no notice of this, and was never informed that they were out of stock of anything. So disappointed. Had I known my guests were having this issue beforehand, I would have switched my registry to somewhere more reliable.
The closure of Babies r Us left a hole in my life that BuyBuyBabby has filled thankfully. I have 3 kids and can't always get out of the house to do my shopping, but their online shopping experience is wonderful. Beautiful styles. Stores like Marshalls generally have cheaper prices but you really have to have plenty of free time to go out and browse the stores for hours.
I ordered a crib and dresser for my Niece as a baby gift. I paid for the extra white glove $59.00 per item charge for each of the two items. Instead of delivery to the designated room, unpacking, removal of packing material and set up, the delivery persons dumped it in the garage and stated they don't do anything else. UMMM seems like a rip off to me.
Terrible customer service. I would not shop at buy buy baby again. I have 8 items off my registry that I never received. I have been back and forth for the past 3 weeks with customer service. Everyone tells me something different. One agent was able to locate the items and two other agents said they couldn't. I have been bounced around from supervisor to supervisor who tell me they will get back to me but no one has. All I want are the items that were purchased but customer service continues to not give me a straight answer.
I purchased two items from the store from their online site. I received one and never received the other. They would not refund the money because they said it had been delivered. Very unhappy with lack of service.

I am writing to say that this company is so ridiculous. I put on my registry a furniture collection that I fell in love with. The crib came damaged. NOW 3 weeks have gone by with no solution. I can either fix the piece myself or ship it back and pick a new collection because the pieces are out of stock now. What kind of customer service is this? What kind of company is this? I was told my damaged crib can be replaced, now all of sudden it's out of stock. There has to be a better resolution!
Ordered a bureau and it came in dented and broken pieces. We have contacted the manufacturer, no reply, contacted BBB no reply. Extremely disappointment in BBB, thought they were a stand up company. Will be removing all items from the registry. Definitely can find the same products at other stores. Hopefully we can get a replacement bureau from BBB, time will tell.
Buybuybaby website did not advise that the $700 reclining chair was OUT OF STOCK when I put the item in my cart. The website even had me pick a delivery date. After the item failed to be delivered, I checked my email. They sent an email stating that they are sorry but the item is still processing. That was a lie because after waiting ten days after purchase I found out the chair would not be back in stock until 49 days after purchase. Not in stock isn't still processing. So I didn't have the chair for the baby shower and had to cancel order since it wouldn't be available until after the baby was born. I hate buybuybaby. They suck.

So I bought a Eddie Bauer diaper backpack from my granddaughters baby registry she put it on their site around Aug baby due in Dec. Ok so I bought her this item. Ok baby is born end of Dec ok she starts using it the middle of Jan the straps are already tearing and I paid over $80 for this item I contact the company and they tell me the warranty starts as soon as you buy it I told them she couldn't use it until after baby is born so the warranty should start then they told me no. That is the stupidest policy I have ever heard of. They simply don't care. So I'm out $80
Yesterday I bought some product from buybuyBaby. I am fully satisfied with the quality of the product. Unbelievable. It is a value for money. I suggest all the customer to buy product from buybuyBaby. Really a great experience. Every product You will get at the cheapest rate. So Hurry up Buddy.
I ordered a car seat for my Grandson, accidentally had it shipped to my address instead of my daughter's address 2,000 miles away. The box was returned to them unopened the next day. A few weeks later the car seat was back at my address and the return was refused. The reason given was that the tags had been removed. The box was returned unopened and in new condition and the return and refund was refused.

Overall a GREAT experience. They had everything we wanted and we're not registering anywhere else. I am definitely a fan of Buy Buy Baby. They have great selection and great prices. The staff is hit or miss. Some of them are wonderful and others are not so great. I always travel to Buy Buy Baby for all my baby needs. Their baby proofing section is huge and you will seriously find anything you need there.
Did an online purchase 11/28 estimated time of arrival was 12/7 which is when I received it but I was surprised it was going to take a week and a half to get here. Opened the box and all the stuff was there but nothing was gift wrapped as I paid for it. Quality of stuff is good but the baby shower is tomorrow and I now have to get out to find wrapping. The "message" they offer is on the packing and return document. Barely found it. I wonder how many people pay for gift wrapping and send it to the individual rather than themselves and it never gets wrapped! My advice Amazon.com gets it to you quicker and you will have plenty of time to wrap it yourself.
Of my order I received 2 items that were either damaged or expired. After calling and requesting they be replaced, I received no follow up. After calling again, I learned that the items would not arrive in time for the baby shower and they refused to expedite shipping.
Worst company ever. I placed an order 10/1 they charged me 10/3. Its now 10/17 and the order is nowhere to be found. I spoke to a supervisor to have the order ready at a local store and they were out of all 4 items. They said they would reorder the items. Why would I want to. I will never shop there again.
I understand COVID has effected everything but it's been a week since I put in a complaint that I never received a product I paid for. I tried calling but the optimistic hold voice said I would reach a representative in 45 minutes or less. I just didn't have that time to sit on hold. Then I received another order (much more expensive piece) and it's box was heavily damaged during shipment. When I opened it, part of it was broke. I've started that exchange process but still haven't heard back from them for 3 days. I tried emailing only to get an automated response saying that the email wasn't been monitored. What am I supposed to do? I've got broken high chair and missing a toy. I will not be buying anything on their online store again with such poor customer service.
Treated like crap even after being patronized by pointless instruction, presumed that only people driving trucks and rental cars shop there especially for collapsible cribs and mattresses, and given absolute laxed use of 6 meter space and only reminded as I'm at checkout that yes it is enforced. WTF?!? You want a better review from me, $#*! off, dont assume cars cant haul commercial goods, stop treating customers like kids and do your $#*!ing job! Runny, I'm looking at you, you prick!
