Best customer service. I had purchased 3 boxes of the hot chocolate bombs. They arrived quickly but half of two of the three boxes had broken or crushed balls. Cocoa powder everywhere. Likely a careless shipper but I quickly emailed them about my disappointment. Within 48 hours I received an apology (again wasn't blaming them) and a refund for the broken ones. Very pleased with their efficiency and professionalism. Will be ordering again from them.
I had an absolutely horrendous experience at Showcase. I bought an air cooler for $300, assured by the employee that I would receive a full refund if it didn't work. The cooler turned out to be a complete disaster—it didn't blow cool air at all. When I went back to return it just two days later, the manager not only refused to accept the return but also treated me with the utmost disrespect. She was a complete maniac, rolling her eyes, sighing loudly, and speaking to me in a condescending tone. She interrupted me multiple times, didn't listen to my concerns, and acted as if I was a nuisance. Her attitude was so hostile that it felt like she was looking for an argument rather than trying to help. To make matters worse, there's no number to contact Showcase and report this appalling behavior. This was by far the most unprofessional and unpleasant encounter I've ever had. I will never set foot in that store again, and I urge others to stay away as well. Total waste of time and money!
My elderly mom purchased a fan for over $100 and received a box of crackers. We have put in for a return but have heard nothing. What an effing rip off... STAY AWAY! THIS IS A RIP OFF COMPANY WHICH SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE INTERNET!
Do not buy from here. Ive waited over a year for my item. Now i cant get my money back. Not to mention they cancelled the order but wont give me my money.

Order for $275 worth of hand sanitizer and Face Masks on May 13/2020 NOT fed-ex shipping, Canada post shipping and almost three weeks later the package still says Picked up in Mississauga. No movement. Nine emails later to get a refund I HAVE TO CONTACT CANADA POST to return the package. How will I do that when it is lost somewhere!
I ordered face masks for the entire family and ordered them from Showcase because they said they delivered by FedEx from Toronto. They were price gouging but we needed them immediately so I thought, hey, this is going to be so much quicker than Amazon delivering from China. Wrong! When they didn't show up a month later, I contacted Showcase who refused to cancel my order and do a refund but they did give me a tracking number which indicated that my order was coming from China by regular post! They shipped it to Brampton(where they could have cancelled my order as requested but refused) then FedEx it from there six weeks after I ordered. The masks were miniature, cheaply made and not suitable adult use so a waste of money. On top of that, they make refunds impossible when you complain. When I purchased the items they said they give returns for online orders, then halfway they switched it to store credit good for 30 days when stores aren't even open here, I'm not sure how you change your return policy like that. But you only have 30 days to return product to Brampton for a credit and you have to have a return number to do so, they take weeks to give this to you. Of course returns are at your own expense, if you manage to get it there before the 30 days is up. This should all be illegal. Stay away from this store! By the way, in the meantime I got good quality masks from Costco delivered in five days for half the price.
I bought a back massager at the Whiteoaks location in London Ontario and paid an extra fee to be able to return it and they refused to allow me to. Not happy at all as I am out almost $300.
Tip for consumers:
Don't pay the extra fee. The girls were ignorant and again wouldn't allow me to return it or exchange for something I could use.
This store is absolute garbage and it's products are garbage. They're terrible quality and they do NOT accept returns after it has been opened—how are you even supposed to check the product if you can't open the box?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
The attitude of the employee was NO PROBLEM A terrible approach and attitude
Showcase has 2 prices One listed on the shelf. The otherbatbthe cash register You MUST give your phone number and e mail to get the ticket price Othreise it is at least double
STAY AWAY
It will be my last time order it online from Showcase, things doesn't work out, so I took it back to the store and was told can't return it as it's online order, and it cost almost the same price to pay for the shipping back, NOT WORTH IT
Advertising on each product on their flyer that it is BUY 3 GET 1 FREE next to the product and then no where on their flyer does it say - buy a fifth item of lesser value and that is the FREE item...cool if that's the deal BUT advertise it that way! Your advertising is FALSE and misleading and has really given me a sour taste in my mouth for shopping at Showcase in the future. Emailed head office for a straight computer type response saying that the fine print is BUY 3 GET 1 FREE (entire store) and the 4th item is the lesser value item. Basically it is what it is and that's it. No customer service whatsoever.
Tip for consumers:
Service in the store was friendly just misleading with their sale signs and the way they verbally advertise the sale to you once you are shopping in store as well. Very scam like. Customer service from head office email directly was NIL. Might as well not have sent a response.
Why don't you support the straight community I'm very disappointed please put on the bottom corner of the tv screen says we support the straight communities
U have aways price gouged and now taking advantage of this epidemic is just wrong u people make me sick
Label made and Fed Ex number means wait for delivery from China. Not, going to be here for Christmas
Pokemon cards which cost 4.99 anywhere else are $11.99 here. Lego sets are at 10-30$ markup. Rip off
The site says free shipping over $39 by FedEx
Now discovered, my purchase was sent by regular mail
I ordered many times before and were shipped by FedEx which was received with 2days of dispatch
They don't have customer service and their return policy is horrible and they don't take care of clients
Go elsewhere and save yourself the trouble
So frustrated. Received 2 gifts from hubby this Christmas from Showcase store at Mall. When I opened the gifts - weighted heating pad did not work AT ALL - no power light, no heat. And hands-free light was a trial to turn on, but when on it would turn off with slightest movement.
Needed receipt to return item (no returns without receipt - regardless of reason for return!) so needed hubby to hunt for it, as well extreme weather conditions kept us home from "non-essential" travel in early part of January.
Attempted to return items on the 13th of January to be told that receipt was from Dec 7th and 30 days had expired. Sales clerk was unhelpful - just parroted return policy. Clerk offered the option of contacting 'corporate' to see if they could help. Sales clerk gave me wrong email address!
Finally got through to ca.showcase.com and they parroted the Christmas return policy (which strangely the clerk DID NOT KNOW). If online - items purchased immediately before Christmas started the return dates from Dec 25 for 30 days, BUT in store items started from Dec 25 for 14 days ONLY.
Great so I have 2 shoddy items that will ultimately end up on the landfill and my hubby is out $80+ spent on my Christmas gift. And there is no manufacturer to appeal to - Showcase is the only contact for these products in Canada. RIP OFF!
Thankfully - hubby swears he will never shop there again -they just lost a good customer as he frequently shopped there.
As for customer service - the clerk just pointed at the return policy - no empathy, no apology and the email reponses couldn't care less.
Its not like I didn't like the items - they DON'T WORK!
This store is a scam. I bought a stress ball for fun and within the 2 minutes that I took it out of the box, it burst and white substance came out from the filling plug, which wasn't even closed properly. I guess this isn't completely (I guess?) Showcase's fault, but they should still be responsible for the quality of products they're carrying. Since it was defective, I obviously tried to return it, but it just so happens that they have a hidden return policy which they don't even tell you about and you only know if you like search it up or get it from the reciept AFTER you make your purchase. And even on the reciept, there is "30-day return policy" in big letters and in tiny letter in a very hidden spot there is something along the lines of "If opened then final sale". So when I brought it back to the store to get a refund, the store emplyee was very rude and said that all she could do was exchange it for another one. But it LITERALLY burst within 2 minutes, and I hadn't even opened the box before that. So I just went and picked another one, and opened the box to check for defects. That was when the store employee told me "If you opened it that's the one you're buying, just letting you know!" So I had no choice but to bring it to the front counter to get it rung up. That was when another employee told us that we could also get the amount of the purchase in store credit. WELL, if the first employee had told me about exchanging for store credit, I probably would've done that because I didn't even want the stress ball anymore. She obviously didn't want to tell me about about store credit in the first place, so thank god for that other employee. I will never be shopping at that Showcase location ever again. Very dissapointed in the quality and terrrible attitude of the employee.
Tip for consumers:
When you shop at Showcase (in person) please check the quality of your purchase. There is often scam/knockoff items with terrible quality that you don't even get a refund on just because you "oPeNeD iT". Also be prepared for bad employee attitude. In general not a very good experience at Showcase.
