Best Turduckens ever, repeat customer. Have had both traditional stuffing & pork stuffing. Pork stuffing seemed to have cooked faster, and didn't slice as smoothly as traditional. Made for some great tasting leftovers. Looking forward to trying stuufed boneless chickens. I recommend Cajun Grocer to all.
This is my first order from the Cajun Grocery, and I am deeply disappointed with the service I have received. I ordered 2 Quarts of Crawfish Bisque, but only one arrived. When I called the customer service number to complain, I was met with a disappointing response. The customer service person took my complaint and sent it to management. Management stated that the weight of the package was appropriate for 2 quarts of bisque. They refused to send me any of my missing orders or refund me. I felt like the customer service rep was accusing me of lying. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and I will never do business here again! Shop here at your own risk!

Beware when ordering from this company! I received my two orders of French fry seasoning and noticed they were already close to their expiration date. One of which is next month. After contacting them I was told they are allowed to sell an item as long as the expiration date is 30 days before. Who the F does that! Never in my life have I seen some bull$#*! like this. When you buy a spice or something like that from a grocery story the exp. Date is at least a year out or longer. There's no way in hell I could even use this seasoning up in time. Who the hell eats French fries everyday! I will never order anything from this establishment again. Not to mention the girl was very snippy. Very poor quality customer service yet when you get an order it comes with this little bull$#*! card that tells you to email them if there's anything they can do to keep you happy about any issues.also very expensive shipping fees. Never again.

An item I received in my order was open in the shipping box. I informed them of this, they told me they would not replace it or refund it, because it was still safe to consume. What kind of company recommends consuming an already open meat product? That's the most bizarre thing I have ever heard. I have ordered from them several times in the past, but now I'm going to find a different distributor. This experience was awful, it's like they want to go under.
Two of my mayonnaise jars were opened, out of six shipped. I opened two tickets with photos showing the opened jars, but was denied a replacement. Wouldn't recommend thsi vendor. I wish I had done more research on them before I ordered from them.
Ordered New England Coffee's Pistachio Ice Cream, received Pistachio Creme. Different name and packaging. Company refuses to admit their fault and tried to tell me it the same. It's not. I've had both before. I want exactly what they advertised and I ordered off their website which is the Pistachio Ice Cream. They say they will refund product cost minus shipping but I have to send mail back at my cost. Not acceptable for their error! Kylie from customer service, and supposedly a manager, was rude and just kept telling me it was the same. HIGHLY recommend buying elsewhere if you want to get exactly what you order.
Call b/c my crawfish I got from them didn't smell right & was mushy
I'm a long time customer that lives out of state. Unfortunately the supervisor said there's was nothing they could do, lesson learned I will not be buying from them again.

Purchased over $100 of items from these people. My Blue Plate sandwich spread was totally liquefied when I received. I called to inform them only to be interrogated by, did you take a picture of it, do you still have the item. My answer was no because I didn't think that I would have to. I threw it away because it was. Never a word of apology. Was told upper management would have to decide on outcome. I only wanted a credit in case I ordered again. I was not trying to get a refund. I told the women that they lack customer service skills and I would never buy from them again. What a crappy business. They don't even answer their phones.
Wish I had seen this site before ordering. Bought ten pounds of shrimp which arrived in two 5 pounds blocks of ice. Impossible to use because you would have to thaw all to use any! Told by owner, no refunds, not our problem etc. Never even the slightest apology or offer to find an amenable solution. Had to do a credit card charge back, as I would advise any dissatisfied customer to do. NEVER AGAIN!

Stay away!!!

I purchased a king cake from Cajun grocer. I received it covered in mold. The Customer Service Rep was rude, dismissive and patronizing. I will never buy from this company again. They do not stand behind the products they sell. Disgraceful!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE

I purchased a $40 gift certificate for my father and he never received it. He told me: "I went online to Cajun Grocer and filled out a contact form about getting the voucher number for your fathers day gift. I never heard back. Today I found a number for them *******972. The women I spoke with told me they got the form but it goes to the owner who has to ok it before he can give a new voucher number. That was 2 weeks ago? She would not let me speak to anybody else and she would not give me her name."
Since he never heard back, I contested the charge with my credit card company. I LOVE New Orleans and Cajun Food, but will not give Cajun Grocer another dime of my business. It is too bad.
Ordered something for a party my daughter was having. Did not receive all of my items so I called them and spoke to a manager named Kylie. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I asked for a refund for this missing items and was told a decision was made not to issue me a refund for the 18.00 I was owed. Something went terribly wrong with this Company. I will never use them again.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away. Again the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The manager was very defensive and had a negative attitude. She could care less about my situation and showed it in our brief discussions.
One of the large jars of Blue Plate mayonnaise arrived with an expiration date which was about three weeks away and I couldn't use 30 oz before that time (the other two jars expired in at least 6 months, which was fine). Customer service did call me back but the Agent was dismissive and stated that as long as items expired in 30 days or more (it didn't, at least from the date I received it) it was fine by them. No refund or replacement would be forthcoming, and that was that. I asked to speak with a Manager and got a dismissive sound and "I AM the Manager". Wow.
Over the years we've also received poorly-packed items from Cajun Grocer that got smashed/opened in transit (2nd and 3rd pictures are from 2021, in that instance they did give me a refund) so I asked in this order that it be packaged carefully -- it was, but they gave me an almost-expired perishable item!
I ordered boiled crawfish as a birthday gift to be delivered on a specific day. It was delivered almost 2 weeks early.
I will consider this to be wasted money and a learning experience.
I noticed that customers can not write a review on their website.
I will not purchase from here again!

Cajun Grocer online ordering system charges you multiple times for one purchase. Management failed to addressed the problem and was unprofessional when asked repeatedly to refund the extra charges. Do not use the online ordering system. Based on my experience, you will be doubled charged and the error will not be completely addressed.
Born and raised in LA, and decided to try cajun grocers. NEVER AGAIN! Received 60lbs of completely dead crawfish. Upon calling the company they refused to refund us. Would highly advise to never order from this company.
I called the shop and spent a few minutes talking to the saleslady on the other end of the phone. I specifically asked if crawfish were in season and could I get some fresh (never frozen) crawfish tail meat.
She assured me they could ship fresh, but what I got was frozen. And, by the time you factor in shipping I paid 2.4 times what I could buy the same frozen tails for locally. Customer service told me to check their website where it says all of those products are shipped frozen. Well, if I only talked to their salesperson and that person assured me the crawfish were fresh, why would I check the website. Very dishonorable. Avoid them unless its a product you really need & can't find anywhere else.
The Cajun Grocer solicits feedback on their services with the enticement of a reward. The reward are magazine subscriptions through BizRate. Problem is that BizRate's site does not allow you to select any magazines. Also, BizRate does not provide any way to contact them to discuss the situation. Avoid the offer of a survey. If Cajun Grocer wants feedback, they should be working with a reputable survey group.

Tried to place complaint with girl. Tone was rude and she didn't really care. Wanted me to take pictures and send. She insisted 3 days was normal, not so for frozen goods. No dry ice left in container. About 1/3 was thawed. Shipped on 6/14th, arrived afternoon of the 17th, was supposed to be here on the 16th. Only cold food keeping it cool. $175 worth of goods I ordered. Have to give some away tomorrow. Told her to stuff their business. They not gonna pull that on Guidry NO. Your delivery sucks, that is bottom line, not to mention customer care. Order#w*******L. There is your proof of purchase.
Absolutely horrible, fraudulent service! They don't protect their products for shipping and then refuse to make it right when your items arrive damaged and not usable. You can be guaranteed to lose money if something goes wrong with your shipment!
We have a Cajun food truck in NC and hoped to use them as a source for a lot of our LA-sourced items. We've ordered over $800 in 3 recent orders.
This week's delivery included 4 jars of the Boscoli olive salad, $120 worth of product. Two jars came open during shipping and spilled since these 4 heavy jars were shipped in the original box, no bubble wrap or other protective material. The entire outside of the box was covered in an oily mess.
After sending detailed photos, multiple e-mails, and a phone call (plus an offer to video call them to show the damage), they are unwilling to do anything other than issue a $29.99 refund to cover 1 jar. They apologize for the "inconvenience" in making me eat the other $29.99 + the $35+ in shipping costs.
They truly do not care about their customers or business practices - you have been warned! I just wish I had read all the horrible reviews out there before I made the mistake of giving them my business.
As a life long pickle connoisseur & indulger, I have always be on a quest for the BEST tasting Dill Pickle. I have now found it-the WHOLE DILL PICKLES sold by the Cajun Grocer! My order was sent almost right away, I had no issues with customer service, the website, nor needless to say my product. I plan to continue ordering online for these fine items/products not found easily in any grocery store, Walmart, Sams, ect. That is because they are unique! Truly the PERFECT DILL PICKLE!
Tip for consumers:
Truly the PERFECT PICKLE! I have indulged in many a pickle brand, BUT, these are exceptionally good & the BEST TASTING. You cannot find this brand ANYWHERE! Not sure why as once people knew how great they taste, they would SELL OUT, in my opinion!

The product, crab fingers, ordered 10/10/20 arrived in a mislabeled container. It was frozen, but but the product had freezer burn. Tasteless. Inedible. No help from customer service. Wasted money.
I would give them zero stars if I could. Ordered 5#shrimp, 5#alligator tenderloin, Crawfish/shrimp boil seasoning in package. No dry ice in Styrofoam box. Shrimp and alligator was thawing out when I received product and the seasoning package was damaged/opened and the contents of the seasoning was all over other products and the inside of the container when I opened it up. What a mess, seasoning caked all over. I had to wash everything, and then I had to cook up the whole order days early because after washing and being partially thawed when delivered I had no choice. Plus had to go to store and purchase more shrimp boil seasoning. I contacted the company and questioned their packaging procedures, because even I can see there was no thought involved in the consequences of the large frozen items rolling around and damaging the fragile item. Come on people... this is packaging 101. Their response " I apologize for the inconvenience unfortunately this does happen in transit. We do our best to make sure this does not happen". Sure you do, a two year old could have done a better job! And what about NO DRY ICE! To keep product frozen in transit? I should of checked the reviews on them, many. Many. BAD! Reviews. Well here`s another one to add to the growing list.
Awesome friendly customer service. Took my order of what I precisely wanted. Advice on shipping was great and on time.
I would give this place a negative star if I could. Greg Ricks provides really bad customer service with an abusive take-it or leave-it attitude.
