I'm not sure why this site has so many bad reviews. As a person who used to own a survey site, it's probably from people not following directions, or trying to use the card after they sold it. It worked perfectly for me, I sold two cards, a Macy's card that I got from swagbucks and a Victoria Secret card that I gave to a Tinder chick and took it back from her after I found out she got some more side dudes without asking me first. Got my check in about 5 biz days.
I bought gift cards for one merchant and they were electronic but took too long to get to me through e-mail (which should be almost instant)... the item I was trying to purchase went out of stock and then back off sale back to its original price which was double the amount. $300 instead of on sale for $150 when I bought the gift cards. I've been e-mailing for a month now and NO responses, not a single one! Then I purchased a gift card last week and still have not received it. Other sites I've used I get the gift card within 15 mins... this one I'm lucky if I get it at all and definitely no refunds whatsoever... don't waste your money even if they price for a bigger discount it's not worth losing a couple of hundred dollars or more. The screenshot shows their one automated response saying they will get back to me... but when? In a few years?
I sent in a gift card worth $111.49 and got a check for $94.77. I didn't look at reviews until AFTER I sent in my gift card so it was pretty nerve wrecking when I saw all of these negative reviews. I had sent in my gift card on May 16th and hadn't heard anything back from them until May 25th when I e-mailed them. At first they sent me an e-mail responding that they haven't gotten my gift card but within that hour I got another e-mail saying that my gift card was received and that they'd sent me a check. I received the check yesterday on June 2nd and deposited it without any problem!
Took way too long to confirm my purchase, called me to verify but missed me, terrible wait time to call back, and unilaterally cancelled my order after verification. Hope they get better
Stole about $75 of gift cards. Since I wasn't planning on using the cards I think I was a little too careless selling them... should have checked some reviews. Don't use them.
Where is my MONEY? Is this a criminal enterprise? I sent in $2,500 coach gift cards for $$2,125 and that was 3 weeks ago. I have emaied customer service 3 times...
Their website says, "While it will typically only take ten minutes for you to receive your eGift card, it can take up to 1 business day if further verification is needed." It's now been two months. Unfortunately I sold them 5 gift cards at the same time. (I use the word sold hesitantly, as really they STOLE them). They don't respond to any contact, not even when I went ahead and filed a BBB complaint a couple weeks ago. I have no idea WTF is going on. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

ATTENTION: CARDPOOL IS A PO BOX FRONT FOR BLACKHAWK AND SAFEWAY. THATS WHO OWNS CARDPOOL SO COMPLAIN TO THEM. ITS A MADEUP SERVICE LIKE PAYPAL IS TO EBAY. BLACKHAWK MADE THE CARDS THAT SAFEWAY SHOVES IN YOUR FACE ETC. THEIR THE WORST BUSINESS IVE EVER DEALT WITH.
I sold 7 egift cards to Cardpool(over a period of 4-5 days) and chose to get paid by check. First thing I received was an email confirmation then a day later a phone call which was to verify my info for fraud issues. A couple days later I got an email saying that they mailed me a check and it should arrive within 3-7 business days. That was my first time using them and was for 2 of my cards. A couple days later I sold them a few more egift cards and within 24 hours i received an email saying they sent a check. A few days later I received 3 checks in the mail and deposited them with no issues. According to USPS Informed Delivery I have another check coming today. So far the process was easy, professional and nerve racking (only because I started reading crazy amounts of terrible reviews after I submitted the cards and because an anxious mess. I'm not sure why I've had such a smooth experience with Cardpool so far and an unbelievable amount of people have had the opposite. If anything changes I will be back to edit this review. I don't know if it's possible on sitejabber but if u have questions comment or send message.
I had a $25 Ticketmaster gift card that I was trying to sell to friends for $20. I sold it online to Cardpool and got my check for $20.75 three days after the confirmation email.
Who runs a viable business this way? Tried to BUY cards 3 times, yes 3 times and 3 times orders cancelled with no explanation. I have impeccable credit so no issues with payment. Just gave a half-a$$3ed sentence or two saying their "team" can just arbitrarily not accept orders and no one but their "team" can say way - AND THEY AREN'T SAYING! Don't waste your time. Now to report to Better Business Bureau!
I sent in a 250 dollar giftcard and received NO check after 2 months of waiting. These people WILL take your money and never reply to your emails or phone calls

I was a little hesitant to try Cardpool but have to say that I sold 3 electronic gift cards recently with NO problems. My Amazon cards were in my inbox the next day. Will use in the future.
It has been 18 days since I placed my order, but have not received the gift cards. Contact the customer service via chat line, but could not get the problem solved.
I purchased three Fandango movie gift cards for my grandboys for Christmas. I expected to get physical cards in the mail. After paying $60+ dollars for the three $25 cards, I was advised they would be ecards. After many back and forths with Cardpool, I had directions on how to use them. Gave the ecards to the kids along with the instructions. They don't work in our area! So I'm out $60+ and the kids don't have any movie gift cards. Never again. Their writeup said they would work at our local theaters.
I initially ordered a $300 gift card for Target from Card Pool from $279, but after hearing that they sometimes require verification (which can be a bit invasive), I decided to cancel my order. I e-mailed them and received a prompt reply that my order was cancelled and my card would not be charged.
So, imagine my surprise, when my card was then charged for the $279 a week later and I received an e-mail saying my card had shipped! I e-mailed them again (would have called, except they don't appear to have a phone number) and received an e-mail 2 days later that they would "refund the money" but that it could take "up to 10 days."
I would DEFINITELY STAY AWAY from this company - they charged my card without permission, have no telephone number, and STILL have not refunded my money.

Listed my gift card to sell on their website, they never approved the listing and now my gift card shows as used when I never shared it with anyone else. Pure and simply theft.
I waited six weeks for them to basically tell me they didnt think they could make money on my card. What a crock for a website designed to buy your unwanted cards. Don't bother with these liars.
Also I tried to go to stores listed ON THE WEBSITE TO THIS DAY and they looked at me like I was bonkers and basically told me "We've never been partnered".
You can't contact them by phone, they don't email e-gift cards in the promised time, or reply to customer service support emails within the promised time (or at all sometimes).
