Even after I've saved my preferences, Careerbuilder keeps sending job notices in the North Highlands area which is two hours away from where I live. I've already uploaded my resume, but it keeps telling me to build my resume. I attempt to type in my new e-mail but it keeps saving my old e-mail. This is annoying.

I kept getting fake job offers
I finally called one out as a scam. He threatened me and said he had my address and was coming to my house! Career builder does nothing about it. Remove your resume now!

Look at all the negative reviews for this so called Job site. Add me to the list. I get several emails and texts a day, all very suspicious. It's hard to even delete your resume, as well as deleting your account. They are so shady. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I'm reporting them to the BBB. Their reviews on the BBB speak for themselves. Disgusting breeding ground for foreign scammers. Be warned.

It was good back in its day, but so many changes made to website that did not need to be made. They could not just leave it alone! IT IS UNUSABLE! ABSOLUTELY UNUSABLE! Navigation is limited to a small window in the bottom corner. REALLY? Jobs are mostly junk and spam bs. A million instacart and jobs like that. It is as bad as monster is, which is pretty much the same load of crap.

Just don't use this site. The amount of scam texts, emails and phone calls for fake jobs is insane. Ever since I put my information on this website, it's been several a day. Save yourself the headache.

Me posting my resume on this site was the worst mistake. I get over 10 CALLS every single day. Some jobs I'm not even qualified to work. I swear I believe they sold all my information overseas. I have never heard of not a one of the companies that that called and I have taking contracts for over 20 years. Everyone is from foreign nationalities. No English fluent recruiters.Can barely understand them.DO NOT POOST YOUR RESUME HERE!

You deserve no stars, but couldn't post without at least 1. I was suppose to get free trial never did, I logged in on 10/27/23 and made sure not set on auto renew, then still got billed anyways. Never received 1 single application for a client service representative (easy job to get applications for) and then got billed for 2 months of nothing and I will be disputing with cc company! You are a scammer!

This is the absolute worst website I have ever encountered. One, I didn't realize what exactly posting my resume on here would entail so let me explain. You will get constant phone calls from scammers who lake credibility, as well as constant emails. They caller IDs are from across the US so you never know if someone reputable is calling or not. And if it's career builder, they're not reputable. They sell your information to other businesses which includes your email, phone number, and other personal information. And last but not least, they make it ridiculously hard for you to delete your account. I sent in a request to have my information removed a month ago and still nothing. I called this morning and got hung up on. I called back and they told me they're only doing customer service through email. So to refresh, I'm still getting spam calls and emails out the wazzoo and it is extremely frustrating. Career builder is horrible. I attached a picture of my voicemail which is now FLOODED, so you can see what I am talking about.

Resume search worked great for the first 6 months. I'm not sure what happened but now there's a glitch where you can't get past first 20 results even if there's hundreds there. Customer service is rude and almost non-existent. I've been on screenshares to try and solve the problem to no avail. I've asked at this point dozens of times to speak to someone in contract cancellation as the product isn't working and I'm told by client support you have to email contractrenewal for that and they won't talk to anyone on the phone. I've emailed contract renewal now 7 times with no response. If that isn't frustrating enough on my most recent, I believe 14th or 15th, call I was told about the fine print on auto renewal. You can't just email them and tell them the product doesn't work and you want to cancel. There's a very specific way you have to email them to opt out of auto-renewal. It used to be a reputable company but it's trash now.

I am really not happy with Career Builders. 1) They send you jobs that have nothing to do with your resume or skill sets. 2) When you do click on something of interest, it takes you to another internet employment site that is collecting your information by asking for your email address and then they start sending you ALOT of junk emails. What a waste.

Career Builder is SELLING your information.
In three days I've had 6 scams.
Contacted them, thru email. They take no responsibility, just say, yeah they use our logo.

Seriously, it's hard enough finding a job. Now MY job is to weed out Career Builder scams

One of the worst services ever. Career Builder and Monster.com might be the worst companies ever when it comes to customer support, or to anything, really. Terrible employee conduct, rude and short tempered, never get anything done, and I honestly do not understand how these companies make money. Either way, we moved away from them before they got a chance to scam us. I would advise you to be careful out there.

My experience was really bad and when I asked them to make it right they said two times that they would give me a discount off future products (not going to buy any more services!). I did not get the services I paid for and was stuck in a contract for 3 months.

I had marked "email only" for recruiters to contact, but that didn't matter. I was immediately inundated with spam calls/texts from every fake made up company.

This site is a breeding ground for scammers. You will be bombarded with text, emails, etc from bogus "jobs". I have applied to over a 100 jobs on this site and not 1 legit business or employer has contacted me. Career Builder seems to be doing nothing at all to protect the users of this site. You will frequently receive emails full of grammatical errors, request for pics of your drivers license, etc. It is unfortunate people cant even seek work without being made victims of scams like these. The scammers are dumb to say the least because why target people who 9 out of 10 are looking for work because they have no money.

Do NOT use career builder to apply for work. Most of the people there can PRETEND to be professional. But they ALL are SCAMMERS. If you choose to apply, at your own risk.

This is the worst company I've ever worked for in my 35 yrs. Sales Career. They operate in pure chaos, the right had didn't know what the left hand is doing from one department to another. OMG they don't take care or listen to their customers. They have serious financial problems which lead to a layoff of mid- management in 2022 and then another layoff seven months later. All due to no growth their customers weren't renewing due to their product doesn't work and their service horrible. In some case it would take them months to come up with a solution to a customers problem with the CB platform, they cutoff customers service whom had prepaid for the year, they switch the customers around often, which the customers complained about along with complaining about no one at CB knew anything, they couldn't get their questions answered and no one ever called them back. They keep their sales team tied up in meetings & training all the time. Executive management and the sales managers ran CB in the ground by not knowing what they were doing & continuing to do the same thing over & over. They were throwing any and everything up against the wall to try to get their customers to renew@ a cost of 50% more...Which was ludicrous!
They lost 7M in revenue in the month of December from customers not renewing. No one in Executive management or the management team had the intellect to listen to their customers, fix the communication issues from department to department, stop all the meetings and trainings so the sales team could be in front of their customers selling and trying to fix their issues and you can't have a technical product with the techs reading from documents trying to figure out how to fix the problem. It's said that poor management and lack of intelligence, egos and controlling mangers ruined this company that started off the Talent Acquisition Platform Industry. Last but not least they rip you off big time when it comes to your commission. I give them 1 star but really they don't deserve that.

I've had a career builder profile for years. Recently I went on the site to look for some part time work. With in minutes of updating, I started receiving back to back to back calls from recruiters and they just kept coming in and while I was at work. All morning, one company after the other. I tried to look for an option on the website to opt out of these calls and nothing was available. They call whether you applied for a job or not. They call and want all your information to match you to the available jobs they have, that you didn't apply for or inquire about and it just goes on and on, one company after the other. Don't forget another person from that SAME company is going to call after you told the last one NO. It's annoying and upsetting and I had to block them all. You can't even delete your own profile on the site. They have to put it up for a review and get back to you. Career builders used to be my number one go to, now I just stick to Indeed.com, where you can opt in or out for those calls or go directly on the employers site to apply for a job.

I wish I would have checked these reviews before signing a contract with CareerBuilder. If I could give less than one star, I would.

To start with the agent, I signed up with immediately stopped responding to me. I had to trace down and track down managers who were unresponsive and didn't call me back. I finally came upon someone who tried to help me, but I got very minimal traction from this platform. The service was terrible and it was a complete waste, frustration and loss.

I've been trying to dispute the charges and to no avail. I would stay away from this platform because they do not really care about their customers.
