I recently ordered from them and was really surprised by the quality of the items. I love the purse, it's the best one I have ever bought. Very well made. In the past I have paid four and five times that amount on a purse, that would last only two or three weeks. The handles would rip and fray. None of that has occurred with my Carol Wright Gifts purse. It still looks great after two months of use. I wish the items were shipped a little faster though.
Carol Wright advertises a 'PROMO' number for free or reduced shipping, then after you receive the cheap item that does not fit the description, you are billed $10.98 for shipping. You can't return the item because they then charge you more for shipping and you get pennies on the dollar IF you get any refund. Carol Wrights scam is to give a Promo code that says shipping will be reduced, in this case $3.99. THEN once the item is received, they bill for additional shipping stating 30 days to pay. Horrible scam aimed at seniors. One of several different catelog sellers that rip off customers. Apparently, several catelogs are owned by the same large company and all cheat customers on bogus shipping charges. Why can't we give a NEGATIVE star review? One star is too much for this scam.
I have ordered several items from Carol Wright. I found that their products are of good quality and reasonably priced. I have found items that can't be purchased in any store. It is a great shopping experience.
I have order a great number of products from them. I have never been disappointed with any product. They also offer a credit card which makes shopping easier. I highly recommend this business.
We have been trying to call time after time been placed on hold for thirty minutes no answer only to b hung up on WTF is going on that they make people wait only to b hung up on we will close the account out so we got better things to do besides being on hold and unable to talk someone the company needs to do something about waisting people Time not being able to talk to a customer service don't make customer wait on hold for so long I would imagine that other people trying to call says they have other things to do besides being placed on hold and they're PO no answer there's other companies that value there customer time thank you for not being able to talk to customers service Fank you
I had bought a nice winter robe from Carol Wright Gifts and in June I bought only one top for about $13, I never was told or asked about signing up for any membership for any fee, but my father just called me and told me that I was being charged $14.95 a month for a membership that I never even knew about and never signed up for! On the Better Business Bureau's site there are other complaints from customers of Carol Wright Gifts that said they did the same thing to them, and I will never give them any of my business again and they really should be out of business for scamming and ripping people off like this!
I called and spoke to a Carol Wright customer service agent today who told me that when I bought my top I was automatically enrolled in this $14.95 a month plan, and I kept telling her that I never even knew about it and I didn't enroll in it at all!
She claimed after my father called and asked for this to be canceled and to get a refund, (will see what happens) that they are giving me a refund and canceled my membership fee that I never of course even signed up for or even knew about.

YOU HAVE A HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. SPOKE TO 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE TRYING TO GET THE PROBLEM RESOLVED. I ORDERED 3 ITEMS 1ST ITEM WAS WRONG SIZE THEY TYPED IT IN WRONG SIZE. 2ND ITEM IS POORLY MADE. 3RD ITEM # *******LAV I NEVER RECIEVED. THE 1ST ONE I SPOKE TO SAID I WOULD RECIEVE IN 5 TO 7 DAYS. BUT INSTEAD HE PUT IN AS A RETURN AND MY CREDIT CARD WOULD SHOW REFUND. TALKED TO 2ND PERSON THEY SAID THAT TO CHECK CREDIT CARD IN A FEW DAYS WHICH I DID NO REFUND. 3RD PERSON I TALKED TO THIS MORNING SAID SHE PUT IN TODAY FOR A REFUND AND TO CHECK IN FEW DAYS WITH CREDIT CARD. THIS IS TOTALLY STUPID ON THEIR PART SHOULD NEVER HAVE RUN INTO THESE TYPE OF PROBLEMS. I HAVE ORDERED THROUGH CAROL WRIGHT BEFORE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY OR DR LEONARD...

My order was placed with Carol Wright Catalog on Nov 22. Each time I checked status of order it had not been processed. Approximately Dec 7, I spoke with a supervisor, Doreen who stated that my order was on hold due to questions regarding my charge card. The amt was 268.42. She would investigate. She called back stating all problems were resolved and the hold had been removed. I called again to check status and the representative stated that there was a discrepancy regarding my card and that I needed to call my bank to resolve issues. I told her the supervisor had investigated and all issues were resolved. She stated nothing was documented in the system and if I wanted the order I must contact my bank to resolve the matter. She also stated that they could place my money back on the card if I desired them to do so. I called my bank which verified no problem with the bank at all! I called back and requested my money be returned to my card and simply cancel the order. This communication was done on Dec 13. The next representative said she wish to apologize for the misinformation given to me but that there was no money to be returned to my card because they had not taken the 268.42 from my card. At this point I had to call bank to verify this information. Soo much inconvenience. So much stress with trying to get the order. I am ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED that I did not purchase from them because I have since read their reviews and found them to be adequately true. If the quality of merchandise is the same as the customer service I consider myself blessed that I am FREE from Carol Wright. Never to order again from them. If I could give them a rating less than one star I would have done so. STAY AWAY FROM CAROL WRIGHT!

I had ordered a fall jacket by time the order was processed it was Sept 15. They then said it was back ordered and when that date was up back ordered again for something that they kept on advertising in their catalogs that they had. So, I had hit the cancel because it was saying it was going to be December by time it would come. Well, apparently the cancellation did not go through and the money was taken out of my account. So I called to see if it was really coming since they took money out and I had cancelled. It finally came end of November but the fit wasn't great so I had sent it back for another size. I had to call the post office in New Jersey to see if they received it because I wasn't hearing from them and they told me the company has a high return rate so they get returns in bulk. They said the company did receive it. So, I called customer service and they told me to give them to Friday (it was Monday) for processing. By now this was middle of December. I had to call again because in my bank account they gave me store credit and a ONE CENT refund on postage & handling that I had to pay that they said they'd refund if no slip in package. No email on jacket or a refund. So I ended up filing a complaint with BBB. No email from company on how they were resolving jacket or refund issue, went to call and seen online they shipped another jacket to resolve problem. IT IS NOT THE SAME PRINT /JACKET. I ordered a Black & White plaid print got first time got back a floral print! So, if I sent it back I'm probably out another $11.70 for postage just trying to get the right fit or print of jacket. But that's how they chose to resolve that was by sending a different print instead of a refund if they didn't have the original jacket I had ordered way back at the end of August. So, I'm out out money and stuck with a floral print jacket that I don't care for and I'm not sure if it still fits!. Between Several phone calls, having to file a complaint and out money Carol Wright Gifts is not worth it at all! My first and last experience with them! Buyer Beware! Or Just Don't!

I would give all zeros .They don't seem like they get on order processing or shipping right away , I had to file a complaint to get something done about a refund or jacket and you might not get the same style or product even back and more money you spend trying to get what you wanted or ordered. It's like the Claw game with them. I'm probably going to just have to cut my losses and keep a jacket I didn't want. Don't bother with them and customer service with keep giving run around.
