I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!
When I first used the policy I got the run around for 1 months I was without a car with my kids having to pay for a rental out of pocket and was not reimbursed for it.
They passed me around and around to different departments for a month finally the last representative I spoke to and explained my frustration apologized went above and beyond to help me.
Listening to an ad on the radio which didn’t explain in full how car shield worked it made the process seemed easy and stress free and it wasn’t either in my experience.

I recently broke down and had to have a tow truck take my vehicle to my Chrysler dealership. I called CarShield and spoke to a person on the phone and explained the situation. Because I was at work all week, it was hard for me to be on the phone to handle everything, but CarShield worked hand-in-hand with the dealership. I didn't have to do anything. The dealership sent the pictures and information that was needed and within a few days time I had my vehicle back and CarShield paid over $2000 worth of repairs and left me my small deductible and a little difference in labor for a total of $170. They have really stepped up their game. Their customer service is great and the whole experience gave me complete peace of mind. CarShield is worth having and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a vehicle, especially if it is not a new vehicle and you are concerned about electronics and other parts breaking down. My problem was to do with the powertrain valve body, an 5 hour repair on my Chrysler 300C, and my vehicle only has 42,000 miles on it. CarShield was amazing to work with. Locking hub on my F350 would not lock. I called CarShield and checked it to my local mechanic and they replaced my locking hubs with OEM parts and all I paid was $100 for the service. Thank you.

Come to find out you just sell the warranty then hand it off to some other company which doesn't pay for much. I had exhaust manifold warp which from that broke the bolts for the manifold. Come to find out you don't pay for the extraction of these. Then try and tell the shop that there,bolt prices are to high along with all the other part and put that on the customer. I get that dealership do add a price increase but what site are you ordering parts for. Let the customer see this. Also no where in my diamond package contract does it say we won't pay for the removal of the bolts that broke because of the exhaust manifold. So all the advertisements are false I had people who were going to sign up.for car sheild but were waiting for my first experience having to use my so called top diamond policy. I will be starting a media campaign again your adds especially some of the mager podcasts that everyone listens to Glenn your lieing to your audience by having them as a sponsor. I bought the warranty while I was at the dealership the day I got the truck.

We do advise on the sale call the Administrator of your coverage and send out the contract which lists the information as well. The contract does go over the details of the coverage and explains that all repair parts and costs are verified per nationally recognized labor guides. I talk to a representative every month because my payments were set up to be on the 3rd and the 10th. I tell them not to do the 10th as the money won't be there. We set up a plan.

If your car is towed, they only cover $125. Dealerships do not accepted third party parts so the customer has to pay the difference of an OEM part.
The agent was nice but the outcome was not what I expected. The cost of my tow was $250 but they only paid $125 I still have not received my check. It was submitted on 9/18/24. Process to get things done is not smooth and payment is slow.
CarShield should state all costs upfront when selling these plans.
