Satisfied that they were able to fix my ride but the repetitive request for information that had been sent numerous times did nit add up to why my claim was close and I ws stuck paying for rental out of pocket while my suv was still in the shop.
This company called me and wanted me to bundle homeowners insurance with car insurance. I've been getting notices in the mail for quite a while. Finally, I told them that I don't own this home. The Rep said "thank you, I'll make a note of that and we won't call you anymore." Wonderful!

Had a mechanical issue with my 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 occur unexpectedly. When driving out of town, I suddenly experienced a loss of power and my engine light then came on. When it was safe to pull off the interstate I immediately shut off the engine, and contacted American Car Shield and explained to their representative what was going on with my vehicle. The representative was extremely courteous and concerned not only about the mechanical issue I was experiencing, but also about my current safety. They were very helpful in getting a towing company to tow my vehicle to a reputable automotive repair shop back in my home town, and started all the necessary paperwork to get my claim started with them. The next day I received a call from their representative letting me know what the repair shop initially found wrong with my vehicle, and informing me it was a covered repair and he would be authorizing the repair shop to start the repairs. This was an enormous relief to me. On the 2nd day the repair shop contacted me and informed me, that they had found additional mechanical damage, all related to the initial inspection of my vehicle. They informed me, that they had already contacted Car Shield's authoring inspector and he stated, it did not surprise him and authorized the additional repairs to be completed. I am still awaiting for the repair shop to finish with my vehicle, but feel relieved my vehicle will be professionally repaired and returned to me in a timely manner. So far Car Shield has exceeded my expectations. They are respectfully keeping me informed on the status of the repairs on my vehicle, and confident I will receive my vehicle back professionally repaired, and the only expense I will incur through this whole ordeal will be my deductible on my contract with American Car Shield. I would like to commend all the representatives of Car Shield I have dealt with for their professionalism, sincere concern of my safety and their courtesy.

I called to inquire about several things in my policy and my CSR was very knowedgable about the policy components, what would an would not be covered and even pointed out sections in my policy to illustrate that fixing the part would be covered as a part of electrical failure coverage, in the policy. I was so happy that she told me this, and she actually sent me a copy of the policy and referenced the pages where a description of the covered approval could be located to share with this skeptical major automotive Service Manager. Way to go. What an exemplary employee who understands and is trained in the lost art of Customer Service. So Refreshing.

I'm just waiting now when I take the car in for servicing next month and I tell him it's covered so yes you can give me a loaner as this will take longer than 1 1/2 hrs. Lets's see what he has to say to that.

This is not me being a prima donna, this man was the most rude and it obvioulsy required an individual discussion with him about custermer loyalty and why our customer serve feedback percentage madder and what kin do internal cultureal changes required change to enform a more effective work tream

Answer: You have to wait 20 days and 250 miles. And if they think you already know there is a problem they want cover it.
