Good morning I want to talk about the semi OK deal that transpired with car shield. I had a problem with my car sensors and I took it to the dealership who called car shield and Kasia stated they would cover the repairs. What I did not know was that car, wanted to send parts to the dealership that the dealership would not accept, so there was a price discrepancy between what car shield would pay and what BMW was offering for the part in the end I had to pay the difference. The overall repair came to roughly over $3000, which car she paid 2200, I had to pay the rest which is roughly $800. This was still a very good deal and I did not have to come up with the whole 3000 but my service contract stated that I should only be paying 100 so this was $700 more than I was prepared to pay, but I paid it, so enclosing this is not a great deal but it was a OK semi deal and I can accept that at this time. Thank you.
I signed up 2 years ago. Process was easy. Customer service is good. However for the last 3 months, the mobile App has been down. When I log in to make a payment, it says I don't have an active policy. WhenbI call CS, they assure me that I do and the payment can be made by phone. Besides that I can't see anything as not my policy. I had 3 major repairs come up and they didn't cover these repairs $$$$. Im not sure it's worth paying for a warranty, if it doesn't cover...major repairs.

When I first used the policy I got the run around for 1 months I was without a car with my kids having to pay for a rental out of pocket and was not reimbursed for it.

Carshield process is easy and transparent. Almost all my claims were approved without hassle. The coverage saved me, at least, $******* in repairs including Mercedes-Benz timing chain. Most of my challenges were with the mechanics I selected, not Carshield.

To start a Claim is very easy. The agents are experienced in directing you to towing if you need it. Then to have a choice of repair shops that you can choose from. If you are fortunate enough to have your vehicle evaluated and repaired at that time and it holds, great result. Unfortunately my vehicle thought it was a game. That first thing was repaired. Then it said oh no, how about this then that. It was having a domino effect. And Car Shield was right there to repair and get me up and running. I was so happy that I had this protection. If you have a vehicle that has a mind of it's own, Car Shield should be your Partner.

Not very good. It is like I am paying for "Excludables". Every time something goes wrong with my car It was not covered. In other words it was excluded.

I am very happy with my experience with Car Shield. The mechanic found something else, other than what I took it in for, that needed attention and Car Shield gave authorization right away. I had taken it in because my air conditioner had stopped working and the mechanic found a problem with my transmission too. I had wondered why my car was jerky when I picked up speed. I am quite satisfied with Car Shield and now I have a good working car. Thank you!

Had some issues at place were we took are vehicle they said they called called car shield they never did. But car shield called them.
I realize the timing was very close from when I canceled to when the next payment was due. However, I canceled the service prior to the payment being auto charged to my account. Most companies would have refunded the payment for a service not used. I will leave it alone as the service representative that helped me doesn't make that decision, but I do hope you change your philosophy soon.
