These people are a scam as far as I'm concerned. I was under the impression that things like a malfunctioning window motor and A/C were covered but I was later told by a different agent that nothing electrical was covered. Only the engine and the underside of the vehicle. Yet when there was problem with a leaky seal they said that the problem was a preexisting condition.
I asked for extension without canceling my account, and the company responded with such compassion and understanding 🙏🏾 thank you 😊

The issue with my car was diagnosed and woukd have been covered by the warranty but the warranty company said another procedure that was quite expensive had to be done first and would not be covered. Because of the demand by the rental company, the dealer could not fix the problem they identified. I took the vehicle to another mechanic and he fixed the item that was identified and I've had no issues with this since. Very disappointed and I'm in the process of looking for another warranty company. I was warned about Carshield and thought it was just competition slander, but now I'm not so sure.

If your car is towed, they only cover $125. Dealerships do not accepted third party parts so the customer has to pay the difference of an OEM part.

I had a coolant leak and took my truck to my local garage. They contacted Carshield with the required information and I was promptly contacted by a Carshield rep who informed me of what Carshield would pay. I was satisfied with the amount and OKed the repair.

I called to see if Car Shield would cover the cost of the repairs my car needed. She was not sure and asked to have the dealership call with the details of the repairs. It turned out that they were not covered.

From start to finish everything went great. I called on Friday with a check engine light, the representative
Found a repair location 5 minutes from my house and they got me in on Monday and it was repaired the same day. All parties were respectful and caring. CarShield paid all the repair cost except for my deductible.

My experience was not bad at all. I m disappointed in the amount of hours approved for my SUV. As a long time customer for the five years or so. For the next customer; do your due diligence and break cover cost with cCar Shield and the repair shop. The disparity in in hours shouldn't be that far apart as my experience with my SUV.

I have had car shield for almost four years and never used it. So now that o have to use it it has just been a run around. They have had my car over a week and have done nothing but give me the run around. I get a call from them on 10/10 saying that authorized the auto body shop to fix the car. I paid for the rental out of pocket the first four days. They gave seven days but never had the work done at the time they had my car that whole week now I will be out of more money plus the cost for the stuff they won't pay for.

It was easy for me, as auto mechanic shop filed the claim. First thing that was covered. Was happy that it was made easy. Just wish there was coverage for other problems I had IE leaking strut, and also oil changes.

Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful. I was given the names of some repair places which were close to me. Carshield made the initial contact for me. Car shield took care of my main issue.
