Get CarShield if you have a car with no warranty it is definitely worth it they do take care of it for you and they have plenty of facilities to take their protection plan. Don't wait.
I have been a courtial customer for 5 years and I never missed a monthly payment. But it seems whenever I need something covered there's always an excuse why it's not covered. For example, recently my compressor in my AC was not working and finding out that the discharge hose had a leak. Because the discharge leak caused the problem and that's not covered in the contract they wouldn't even cover my new compressor. Of course you has a way of twisting their words around so that they never have to pay for a claim. This is the third time it's happened to me. The TV commercials made it sound like oh it's fantastic you have to have it. BS for sure. I'm so disgusted with this company and if anybody is thinking of getting it do not! Shame on your car Shield for leading people the wrong way. As far as I'm concerned all my money has been wasted. Do the math car Shield $111.30 for 5 years and all I've gotten was excuses why they wouldn't pay for a claim of mine. And whenever I told a business I took my car to that I had car Shield they never had a positive thing to say about your company. Would give them the runaround and took so long to finally pay for a claim. I feel like I'm caught in a double-edged sword. My car is a 2008 Nissan Altima and probably next to have problems is the engine. According to the contract the engine is covered but I'm sure they'll find a way not to cover something. Besides myself and so disgusted.
When I called to cancel my policy because I couldn't afford it, the customer service person worked to find a way for me to be able to keep my coverage.
Never had to use my coverage, but when I had to cancel due to total loss, Carshield was fair about the refund on payments I was making. Will definitely be back if I need coverage on another car!

A Day after I paid-in-full the Balance of the Plan, I find out MY Service Dealer won't honor the CarShield Plan, due to slow/No payments for their efforts. Needless to say, I am In-Process of Cancelling the CarShield Plan (At a $75.00 Fee.)
Contacted & contracted within hours of initial call. Expecting Long Life from (leased then purchased) vehicle since it's low mileage on a leased ride that the spouse really likes.
I have yet to have to submit a claim on my1998 Dodge RAM Pickup. Given its age, I was pleasantly surprised when they agreed to cover it.under the Gold Plan.
Tom Wood Porsche did not except Car Shield you are considered as a third party and they told me I would need to try and get the money from you, in other words they want the money from the customer they don't want to deal with the 3rd party.
They paid for my first motor then when that one did the samething as the other with the same code they said they wouldn't pay for another motor even tho the code was the same no difference
I canceled my credit card for automatic payment, due to fraud. I'm was inundated with calls about my payment. After I returned their call, gave them a new credit card, I still got calls!
Well when I first got Car Shield I heard negative reviews about them but when it came down to having to use them I was pleased. I hope it stays that way.
Having Car Shield has brought my car back to life, Iwas covered for a tranmission which cost $6300.00 the only cost for me was $100.00. Your service was excellent.

I called to make my December payment and to set up for my January automatic withdrawals, I was then charged again for the January payment, it was reversed back to my account and taken out again now I have another payment that is due for January the 29th to come out for January and I've been double charged, I would like to have that payment returned to my checking account I do not want to pay a double payment for the month of January thank you
