I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.
Everyone I spoke to was very professional, they were very well versed on the workings of their jobs. Mostly I felt that my needs were important.

The standard regarding having quality replacement parts I was pleased. They did not wait for parts for China to be sent.
My first call I was not pleased due to the info I received the business no longer serviced Car Shield customers. When I call again, I was given more accurate info and the business was closer to my location. The only problem was the customer service person needed a better location finder.

I called to inquire about several things in my policy and my CSR was very knowedgable about the policy components, what would an would not be covered and even pointed out sections in my policy to illustrate that fixing the part would be covered as a part of electrical failure coverage, in the policy. I was so happy that she told me this, and she actually sent me a copy of the policy and referenced the pages where a description of the covered approval could be located to share with this skeptical major automotive Service Manager. Way to go. What an exemplary employee who understands and is trained in the lost art of Customer Service. So Refreshing.

I'm just waiting now when I take the car in for servicing next month and I tell him it's covered so yes you can give me a loaner as this will take longer than 1 1/2 hrs. Lets's see what he has to say to that.

This is not me being a prima donna, this man was the most rude and it obvioulsy required an individual discussion with him about custermer loyalty and why our customer serve feedback percentage madder and what kin do internal cultureal changes required change to enform a more effective work tream
As stated above my CSR provided exemplary service and I was highly impressed with her professionalism and problem solving skills.
A friend said she had been using Car Shield for years on an older vehicle that had at the time about twice the amount of mileage on the odemeter. She had very positive things to say and allayed any fears that the company would not perform professionally bc of the age of the car.

Every time I have a problem with my car, it is never covered by Car Shield. I paid for coverage on my car but it seems to be wasted money spent.

Took longer than allotted time for rental car coverage. I checked to see if the 7 days was max. I had waited three days before getting rental and had to return 4 days before truck was fixed. They could not extend.

You guys are a rip off. Why do I pay 140 bucks a month with a 100 deductible. You guys don't cover all the cost of the repairs being made.
