I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.
From start to finish, everything was exoedited to the max. The estimate, the authorization, the repair work and the rental car.

You have some bad reviews from CarShield customers for denying their claims
to many questions. I was good.
I believed in the CarShield commercials and what you were telling the American people.
I have a 2015 Rogue & 2007 Frontier Truck. I am living on a fix income. My experience was the timing chain on the truck broke and took out a sensor which connects to the engine. CareShiels paid for timing chain claim. I had to pay I think $1,300 to $1,500 out of my pocket.

This company is a scam they do not pay all the labor rate they want u 2 pay the handling fee of their part to be ship to the shop they say the shop part is to high on cost I drop them they are not fair to customers

Someone is not saying the truth. Car dealer said That Carshield lies and Carshiel said Dealer lies. The problem is that costumer is in between and paying for service on both sides. I pay monthly to Carshield and I pay for job on my car. In other words...I paid double. Customer service on both sides are terrible and never contact me to end this nightmare. Carshield never return calls or never answer the phone. Last two times they put me on hold form more than 45 minutes and just cut the call with no reason.
Tip for consumers:
NOT RECOMMENDED, PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. I feel like extortion in progress. No customer service, no answers, excuses, lies, monthly payment is the only call that Carshield insist if you do not answer at one.
