I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!
Carshield has provided me with exceptional service for my vehicle repairs at a very reasonable rate ($139/mo) to cover my Mercedes-Benz. Since then I have had 2 major repairs that has save me thousands of dollars.

My repair took almost 3 weeks to get an approval and only 1 week was covered by the rental coverage. Or was not the shop, because I thought it was and when I went and we called together we got different information.
The customer service was a nightmare. Multiple different answers to my questions with no sense of understanding after most calls.
I had heard great things about car shield and always wanted to feel protected if something went wrong with my car.

The process fo claims is very confusing and kind of moves slowly. The reason I purchase protection like this is so that when the unexpected happens like it did with me that I'd be ok and not have to worry about repairs. This process has given me and the shop I choose in their network the run around it is sad

Negotiations with service shop is poor. I had serious next to catastrophic bearing failure. I took my truck to the closest shop. After long negotiations between the shop, Car Shield and me I ended up covering several hundred dollars. I check with other preferred shops and they said the same thing, they will not conceded to the low ball offer and are not willing to use CarShields parts. Everyone in the situation was very citrus but I ended up taking the added expense.

I had a sudden critical issue with the transmission and when I took it to a specialist they didn't believe it would be covered. Car Shield agent got in the phone and after several minutes the job was approved and I had my truck back the next day! 😃
Factory warranty was expired and I drive more than normal. Didn’t want to take a chance of not having the coverage. Their package was very competitive and thorough!

The experience of being a car shield customer was rather a different one- when I took my vehicle to the mechanic all was okay until the choosing of parts to use- one part they said use only OEM then the next part use aftermarket? Why? Well it's all about cost I can tell- but then cs didn't want to pay for diagnostics. But the oem and aftermarket parts got me - one thing was an oil cooler the oem one is plastic and known to crack over time and they had an upgraded one which was aluminum and cs did not want to pay for it but then when it came to a wheel hub bearing they want to use aftermarket because it was cheaper than oem- just weird to me…
I chose car shield because they came highly recommended and pitched a good service- I’ll continue to use them and recommend car shield to anyone that should have a warranty after the manufacturer one expires

I put a call in to see if a certain part on my jeep was covered. So when speaking with the representative she explained my coverage and what I needed to do. It was an excellent conversation- even though I didn't need to use the coverage after all, it's great to know that I have help with me. Everyone I talked to was extremely helpful. I was given the names of some repair places which were close to me. Carshield made the initial contact for me. Car shield took care of my main issue. I was a little surprise that they didn't cover my truck release. But all in all satisfied. Willing to continue my services with them

To start a Claim is very easy. The agents are experienced in directing you to towing if you need it. Then to have a choice of repair shops that you can choose from. If you are fortunate enough to have your vehicle evaluated and repaired at that time and it holds, great result. Unfortunately my vehicle thought it was a game. That first thing was repaired. Then it said oh no, how about this then that. It was having a domino effect. And Car Shield was right there to repair and get me up and running. I was so happy that I had this protection. If you have a vehicle that has a mind of it's own, Car Shield should be your Partner.
As I already stated, I was very satisfied with the Representatives.
Based on the age of my Vehicle and the possibilities of things that could go wrong, I thought it to be smart and take out the coverage. Good thing I did.

My Dodge Dart started to make a thumping noise coming from the passenger side of the car. I took the car to a repair shop that I had used before and the mechanic said it could be your brakes so I had them replace the brake pads and rotors. Well that was not the problem, but the mechanic told me that it could be the front wheel bearings and he then told me it would cost me about $1,500 to repair. I didn't have that kind of money to pay out. I was a member of Car Shield so I called and asked the man if I would be covered and he said yes with a co-pay of $100 is all, that saved me $1400.
Car Shield was the first company to offer that kind of protection for your car. When your warranty runs out who else are you going to turn to.

It was very nice we're satisfied with the experience. They take the time to explain everything that we need to know about our car with roadside, or free towing and that was a plus for us we were ready to be all in.
Never know when your car will break down.or if we will ever need help with our car because parts are expensive, and we don't have that kind of money.

Car Shield Notified me when the settlement negotiations was complete. Waiting for repair shop to acquire replacement parts and complete repair order. The replacement parts are on order with anticipated delivery of this week.

My experience was not bad. But it would have been better if Car Shield would have paid 75 percent of the cost instead of 40 percent. This is why people are so frustrated with warranty companies cuz they don't pay enough of the total cost.

Took our car to have air conditioning checked. It was a serious problem, going to be over $1000. I gave my CarShield papers to the young lady who checked us in. She called CarShield and the repairs were done in a few hours with my bill just the deductible of $100. So grateful I had CarShield.

The compressor on my SUV air conditioner stopped working in Arizona 105 degree heat. Took the car to a service center. Car Shield gave same day approval. Paid my deductible and all work was completed.

My monthly payments for coverage apparently were a waste of money. When my check engine and overheating sensors were going off, and taking into one of your approved bodyshops, you come back with we're not paying for it and there's nothing we can do about it. With no attempts to fix your fault.
The last person had no care in his interaction and when I demanded to cancel my services he was just like ok.

The advertisement states that the cost of a major repair is covered. In the fine print of the contract there are other words that state differently. Other problems lead to my transmission that I did not know. So I had to pay out of pocket. This is false advertisement. I thought it would be completely covered through the contract.
The sale representative was not clear. He had to repeat several times. He had and attitude with me.

I am very happy with my experience with Car Shield. The mechanic found something else, other than what I took it in for, that needed attention and Car Shield gave authorization right away. I had taken it in because my air conditioner had stopped working and the mechanic found a problem with my transmission too. I had wondered why my car was jerky when I picked up speed. I am quite satisfied with Car Shield and now I have a good working car. Thank you!
My car is an older car but not a lot of miles for the year. I figured that sooner or later something would go wrong. I had Car Shield for a year before I had to use it but it was well worth buying it. It saved me a lot of money I didn't have.

Called to set up rental and had to speak to rental department. That evening, I spoke with 3 different people and all were totally rude (Benjamin, Shia and cannot remember other person's name). I called the next morning and got Shaniya who was so very nice! She took my complaint, seemed very concerned and helped me finish my task. It was so easy to for her to accommodate me and I appreciate her.

This is the second claim by my dealer. The first one was denied, as I expect this in to be. Right now I am not happy with anyone bcause between your adjuster, and the dealer I have been without my car for three weeks.
The woman I spoke with was knowledgeable and polite.
I expect this to be my last car, it is a 2016 model with less than 16K on the clock. I simply wanted to cover the car in case of expensive repairs being needed.
