My car had to be fixed so I went to my local dealership to pay for a gasket that blew.
So I told them I had Carshield The service tech called to get them to pay for all I needed to be done for my car. Well American Shield that's with this company, called me and told me They don't pay for all the labor and diagnostic that they are asking, for so I would have to pay for the rest I was out of $690.00.
I admit they paid and approved $611.00. I was only supposed to pay $100.00 of the deductible and get my car back. That's 2 payments on a car altogether. Mario at my dealership gave me a discount
Thanks To Mario I got my car Fixed. Never again will I mess with this kind of Cheap So Call Car Repair Insurance for cars. I wait 5yrs to get a new one.

Need to know before you get the contact what Car Shield pays for.

The agents were all professional and helpful. I ultimately decided not to keep the service because I felt the price was too high. No problem got my refund. Then I started getting these surveys 3-4 a day. I don't like surveys. Make them stop.

I was a little nervous when I chose CarShield to protect my used Jeep. Two employees tgatcI work with, and we are all in the car business, recommended them. After reviewing my options with the sales agent, I settled on etting the Diamond plan. Boy, am I glad I spent a few dollars more. On my first claim, communications were astonishing. Most of the rental car was covered while my car was in the shop. The updates between the CarShield people and the shop, as well as me was phenomenal. We'll done CarShield, I'll recommend your company to many of my clients that I sold used cars to, whose warranty has expired, to hook up with CarShield. Great company, great coverages, great communications. Thanks again!

Scott covered all areas and I believe he gave me a good deal. Had to make decision on spur of the moment to lock it lowest premium.

I had 2 issues with my car, and Car Shield came through on both of them. They saved me several thousand dollars.

Ask about covering sunroof, not covered cost $600 to fix, if you go to dealer I'm sure it would in the thousands.

Contact Car shield. Representatives review previous contact calls. Put on hold for supervisor review. Same answer--still working it. Will call back. Never do.

No call backs from service received concerning the contract dispute.

When my covered vehicle needs a repair, noone in my area, repair shops or dealerships want to do work on my vehicle because they say CarShield doesn't pay them promptly. Had a $2800.00 repair recently because exhaust problem wasn't covered under CarShield.

Customer is responsible for researching local repair places that accept CarShield. In my area there aren't any.

I had a hard time finding a shop that would accept my repair job using my car shield policy everyone said it was hard and took too long to get their money but once I found one all went well and I only had to pay the deductible

Car went in for routine maintenance.
Mechanic for a leaking water pump and empty reservoir.
Paid my deductible. All better!

One of the best things I ever did right was becoming apart of the Car Shield family. I have been with them now going on 3 years and I have only had 1 claim, knock on wood. They were so honest professional and friendly with me as well as taking care of my car problem. I recommend Car Shield to Everyone you want be sorry.😊😊

Absolutely disgusted at the lack of service and disregard for their customers. They will find any excuse not to cover your problem. Both my private service center and the dealer where I purchased my vehicle laughed at me when I asked if they accepted CarShield. I called CarShield and they referred me to PepBoys who are obviously in bed with them. Besidws my monthly payments to CarShield I also had to pay PepBoys a diagnostic fee. All to find out that they would do nothing to solve my obvious problems. Please do not sign up for this coverage. You will pay and receive nothing in return.

The air conditioner compressor had to be replaced. Car shield charged the deductible and replaced it with an aftermarket piece of crap that makes unsettling, painful noises. They contacted us11 times asking for a review but we usually don't review products or services. But, you car shield is so determined, here it is: one of the most disappointing purchases we ever made, glad we cancelled and we know you won't publish our opinion

I was very happy when you reached out to inform me about the claim for reimbursement for my transportation when my car was in the shop for almost a year. On January 26,2024 I returned the information you requested but I have not received any respond from my request after your initial phone call.

I am still waiting for a response to my claim

The dealership contacted car shield- submitted claim. I spoke to representative who went over charges and my responsibility. Made decision and work was completed without any challenges.

I recently purchased a 2002 Porsche Boxster S. I wanted to purchase coverage for this car because repairs can be pricey. The first time I tried to use the coverage I was unable to find a mechanic in my area that was in the network. After repeated attempts I canceled the coverage.

Customer service tried to assist me and was very sympathetic to my situation.

Se tomaron 50 días para aprobar la compra de una transmisión no les importa si te quedas sin carro o no tu tienes que pagar por tu transportación todo el tiempo...
Nadie se preocupa realmente por lo que necesitas mandaron una transmisión que no servía.
Tube que pedir un préstamo para otro carro. Ahora estoy más endeudado que antes. El ajustador tardo 3 semanas en ver la transmisión. No muy molesto yo tengo pagando 4 años por el servicio y a la hora del problema ustedes abaros no sueltan el dinero para arreglar el problema pronto.

My overall experience working with the representatives has been great. Each time I've had a question or had to contact them, they provided me the help I needed.

I am impressed with the salesman and his enthusiasm. He reportedly saved me $54 per month. I ended up with a contract of $105 per month with a $105 deposit. The coverage is amazing at this price with no contract.
