Really pleased with the service fast and easy will recommend Carshield to other people and my friends no hassles at the place I took my truck to to get it serviced, and no paperwork that I had to fill out

Claim took three weeks to approve, and they said I have to pay the taxes. Contract does NOT state that anywhere that the customer is required to pay the taxes.

I got out on the highway after picking the vehicle up, and there was another issue discovered so I returned to the shop. Tech tells me what the problem is, so calls CS back. They open a NEW claim instead of appending old, and now I have to pay yet another deductible and taxes.

When I called in to complain about the 2nd deductible for the same service call issue, the girl on the phone just kept reading her script over and over instead of actually doing something.

I had gotten Car Shield because my warranty with the Dodge dealership was over and they weren't willing to extend it, even though the car has gone through them for everything. So I signed up for Car Shield. It was really easy. I had been with Car Shield for about a year and was informed by my mechanic (not Dodge) that he doesn't work with Car Shield, so I ended Car Shield. For the few times that I did talk to a Car Shield representative, they did act professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I'm just not willing to give up a good mechanic.

As reluctant as they were to lose me as a customer, they were very nice through the whole conversation.

3 weeks after dropping off my car my mechanic says he's still received no parts. No one told me a thing. They're also willing to pay less than half the labor and won't pay for a safety issue.

Car Shield lived up to the hype when I had to have pistons replaced in my engine. I was so thankful that the company did not try to reject the mechanic's diagnosis. They paid for the work with no problem. Thank you so much, Car Shield!

I haven't (lucky me) had to use the Car Shield Service for any car repairs. I am still waiting for my Mileage waiting period to end. The experience of setting up the account was satisfying. I understand the complexities of modern car repair and the high cost associated with these repairs. I feel safer knowing that I am covered for repairs in this time of high inflation.

Simply put, seemed like every avenue their favorite phrase was, oh we don't cover that" or " we only cover an hour, you're responsible for the rest."

First of all, I had to find a dealer that would take CarShield. Every shop I spoke to said, " we don't taken them because they never pay and they are horrible to work with."

I mean, they wouldn't even cover a connector. Now I'm stuck with a $900 bill because they evaded responsibility at every turn.

I'm sure you won't post this anywhere because it's negative but I'm going to do my dead level best to deter people from using you.

It's been 3 weeks since I filed my claim and I'm still without a vehicle to drive. I was told we are waiting on your adjuster to get back in touch with us. What is the problem?

After checking " shieldrepairnetwork.com " to find facilities close to me that accept CarShield, and found that there were no Chevrolet Dealers close to me that accept the plan. I called the dealer that I had planned to have the car (a Corvette) taken for repair, and they said they didn't accept CarShield because they had several bad experiences with getting paid for their work and delays in getting approval to make repairs. The dealer that sold me the car said they would honor the warranty since they sold the car to me, but they haven't had good luck working with CarShield.
After paying $159 a month for several months, I feel that maybe I made a mistake going with CarShield.

They gave me an online site to check repair shops accept CarShield, and there weren’t any Chevrolet dealers near me listed.
Not a very extensive list of shops that work with CarShield. I’m not feeling good about my choice.

Had a couple of issues and they paid for NOTHING at first. When they did, it was 40% percent. I still had to pay more

For the first 25 days, you can not use it, and it's a 30 day cancelation. That way they can get another payment out of you. Commercial is misleading. My dealership does not use them because they will hold your car until they get paid by Carshield. Which can take a long time. The next 4 repair places no longer use them for the same reasons plus if Carshield does approve they send cheap parts. Misrepresentation. Check with shops you like before purchasing. They have a list but they may not be good. Commercial says any of your dealerships etc. Very convincing but not true.

I had to reschedule my payments to accommodate my pay periods. The person helping me was professional and friendly and quickly made the adjustments I needed and reviewed what was done, so that I knew everything was correct.

From my call requesting service to the repair facility contacting me about the settlement, I was kept in the loop. He Car Shield was very customer oriented, courteous and knowledgeable.

Overall the experience ended up satisfactory (C). If the steps to collect on a claim are not followed precisely, and some of the steps are not clear, you may not receive your total claim. Process is very mind boggling especially when dealing with a dealership.

Everything went smoothly once I got in touch with car shield. But actually it was the mechanic facility that was able to connect with them and then car shield contacted me. The connection part isn't really explained well, but everything went through great after the connection was made.

When I was able to connect with them it was very easy. But trying to connect was a problem because they are about 2 hours different than my time.

We have several of our vehicles with Car Shield and every single claim has been handled with the most professional attention and fast responses. Most claims have been accepted and even those which did not qualify was due to our lack of understanding of the contract (not the 'fine-print')...

They tell you that they will pay for you to get your car fixed but they denied me when it broke down they said it had a pre-existing condition that isn't true I only had the car for a year. Very misleading

I heard noise under my dashboard and no air coming in when I turned on the blower. Took it to my dealership and found mice had filled the blower and vents with dog food. It cost me 1000.00 to get it cleaned out. Why am I paying 140.00 a month.

I was satisfied with Car Shield responses to the repairs that were needed on my vehicle except the Running board hinges, motors and hardware left and right. I am a handicapped Vietnam combat veteran and I use the running boards to get out of my vehicle which is why I thought they would be covered because its electrical. I would like to speak with Car Shield about that problem. Other than that I was satisfied.

I feel there show be a person that you could speak with when there is a disagreement.

Last month when I called another company answered your number and said you were being sued but don't worry THEY will give me the right call ntract because you were being sued. I told them I didn't need anyone making decisions for me you a lied. Then call another number and got you. Online has numerous numbers and someone is sterling from you making people scared. Trying to get their payments.

After I got the right number over all others that’s online.
