A couple of months after I signed up, I almost cancelled. Car shield reps worked with me to find the right coverage that better suited my needs that fit with my budget. I questioned my decision from time to time, all the way up until my transmission AND differential both gave out simultaneously. Over $8,000.00 that they covered. I had to pay almost $450.00 for the stuff that wasn't covered like fluids. Saved my A**! As long as you read your contract and know what to expect, Car Shield is a very good service.
I was called twice about my bill not gone through my credit card when I had a email from my bank showing that went through OK. So by the third time I had to tell the operator to recheck because it was paid. So I don't know why I was called when it was paid on time so looks like one department didn't know what the other department was doing
I had car shield for several months but didn't use the service because my car runs great. I stopped the service because I'm going to Florida for the winter and the car will be stored in my locked garage.

This is like the 3rd time I needed something fixed that Carshield did not cover. I looked at my policy silver plan and I called to see if motor mounts are covered and it appeared it was but Tire Works said they didn't approve it so I am out $900 for repairs that I cannot afford. My credit cards hate me right now.
Constant advertising even by celebrities so I trusted them.

I have a 21 year old Acura that just now needs some what I would call major work. I have developed an oil leak and find that the oil pan needs to be replaced as well as whatever it connects to for the flow of oil. I called Car Shield and it was no problem, they immediately gave me a claim number and where the repair center needs to call them the day of repair. I get to choose who I want to do the repair and my co-pay is $100. Easy peasey - so thankful for car shield.
Because I have an older car, i n its 22nd year, 96,300 miles, and don't have a car payment so I thought it worth paying car shield for keeping my car running and in good shape. Also, added note, this is the first major repair I have ever had to have done to this car - ACURA, is definitely the way to go. Car Shield made it very easy. No regrets with having Car Shield.

My account was supposed to be a automatic withdrawal each month. This was done for years, but was dropped without a reason when I called to alert and question why I was not given a reason for this and had to pay over the phone.

My car broke down 9/8/23. Car had to be towed was on telephone with CarShield over an hour still couldn't get us a tow truck. We had to get our own tow! So why am I paying CarShield all this money for not a damn thing

My transmission went out on my vehicle. I took it to the dealership who contacted Car Shield and they were very prompt in sending someone to check on the claim. My vehicle was approved for repair and they were prompt in paying the dealership. Very professional experience.

When I first signed up for CarShield, I was told by the sales person that if repairs were needed they would be covered. I asked what the average person was covered for and what my concerns were. He said other customers were covered 100% for their repairs. When I needed head gaskets repaired I was told they would only cover 30% of the repair. Had I known that car shield was a scam and would not cover the cost of the repairs as advertised and explained by the sales people I never would have signed up.
Terrible, all but one customer service rep listened to my concerns and questions to give a proper response.
I chose car shield in the event that my car needed major repairs.

My alternator was bad on my 2011 Cadillac SRX so the car repair dealer called Car Shield to file a claim for me. The dealer was told that Car Shield was going to furnish the new alternator. The new alternator was delivered 4 days later, but it was supposed to have been overnight express mail to the repair dealer.
I was really stressed out for the delay because we were scheduled to leave for Florida for an important appointment. The repair dealer said the Car Shield Claim representative never gave them a chance to match, or beat, the price of the new replacement alternator. They had a new alternator in stock for our car. For this incident, we are somewhat disappointed in the way the first claim we had was handled. I did talk with Car Shield's representative, but we never discussed what the repair dealer offered for the new alternator.
We have seen much advertising on TV. Also the plan prices are competitive with other providers.

Car shield wanted to send used/cheaper parts for air conditioner to shop. Shop would not guarantee those parts and would not install those parts. Conflict between car shield and shop delayed repair. In the end car shield payed a fraction of the overall repair and I was stuck with $1500 repair bill. Very disappointed that Car shield works harder to get out of paying for things. It truly isn't the wonderful company portrayed. We had a policy on Silverado and Mini Cooper. Both contracts were cancelled.

We, at CarShield, have little to no control over the decision of your claims. That is up to the administrator of the account. We are always happy to explain your coverage details and assist in any customer service needs, however.
I sent my vehicle in for a specific problem and that problem was quickly resolved, however the mechanic discovered another non related issue upon completing his vehicle safety check and contacted CarShield whom quickly approved the repairs and shipped the parts.
I chose CarShield in the event I had any costly or major repairs during the life span of my vehicle.

Paid 129.99 for years never used them until now they canceled coverage because of mileage I'm sure they checked after I bought coverage because they told me that my was at an auction which I didn't know because the car was given to me

My vehicle was in need of repair. Much to my surprise Car Shield provided as advertised the needed repair work! With the exception of some delays with the service shop I went to it or should I say my experience with Car Shield was great!
Their service was recommended to me by a life long friend and member. So based on what I was told I enrolled shortly afterwards.

My repair center told me I needed a new oil pan cover as it had a crack. I called Car Shield and they said it was covered. I took my car to the repair shop and in a couple of day's my car was repaired. Car Shield did what they said it does. Repaired my car and all I paid was the deductible. I would recommend Car Shield to friends and family.
I chose Car Shield because I wanted to buy a high end car, I knew I could afford the payments and service but not unexpected repairs.

The mechanic was unwilling to work with Car Shield. He said he had tried so many times in the past, and it never worked out. Told me they were a scam. They would call him while he was working on cars obviously and then they would put him on for extended periods of time while they hunted down aftermarket parts. He didn't want to put aftermarket parts on my vehicle because he guarantees his work. And then eventually he would hang up because he couldn't hold on any longer. He was Trying to run a business.

I have asked what experience the shop or dealership has had with carshield with payment and each time

And drove to my own shop and turned out to be nothing..
Just a choice after being with endurance which left my wife and I high and dry in coulee damn Washington with a 40 foot 5th wheel.
Dead town, no place to fix my Ranch King except 1 ford dealership which stated that a 2.00 part would cost 398.58 to fix and endurance wouldn’t cover it, said labor costs was to high and denied my claim.
The dealership couldn’t get to me for at least 5 days to a week. So I was towed to a temporary Rv location but had to leave in 3 days cause space was rented out.
Long story short in that nightmare of a place I found some one to towe my RV and one to towe my Truck back to my Vietnam buddy’s house and put it in a shop and all tole damage, 4800.21, took advantage of my outta state tag plus the 5 state fires and fire trucks needing service so it took a month to get my truck back and left as soon as fire would let me get out but before I got outta Washington one air quit and fix engine light came on.
We came into Denver and pulled into dodge dealership and bought an American well made Longhorn Laramie 2500 Ram and wouldn’t trade for another brand truck..

Had a flat tire in Athens,Tx. Talk to a representative and they said it would be a while before they could get someone to come fix it. They said to send in the receipt and they would reimburse. All they said was to put the contract number on email which I did. Now they are saying they need a contract number on receipt which I put in the subject line. I called to see the status and they said they needed the vin number on the receipt which they never told me that. The first person I talked to was rude and ended up hanging up on me. The second person said they would get this done and if there was a problem they would call me and let me know if anything else was needed. I had no call from them so i decided to follow up. I was told it would not be paid. I will be changing warranty companies

My car has been in the shop for over three weeks. No decision on my claim has been decided by the adjuster. I have a rental car that I'm currently paying. As of November 20 first, no decision has been made.
The repair shop has sent photos and estimate two different times the last time being,
