I heard an unusual noise from under the hood of my car as my wife was pulling into our driveway. This car is a Hybrid and I had never heard this noise before. It only made the sound when the gas engine was running
I made an appointment at my dealership and informed Car Shield that I had. It turned out that the transmission part that was unserviceable was the culprit. Car Shield was right on it. Between the dealership and Car Shield, the decision was made to replace the transmission and by doing so, I got a 2yr unlimited mileage warranty with the repair. I would highly recommend Car Shield to anyone, they really do take care of their clients. Of I could give 6 or 7 stars I would...

My engine was seized up. Never, ever leaked a drop of oil. I spilled some down the front of the engine while doing my last oil change. Carshield sent out some "mechanic" to the shop where my car was and his "review" was that all the oil had leaked out of the engine due to "oil leaks". Again, the car never leaked a drop in 5 years but they were looking for any reason to deny my claim. They want me to pay thousands for a teardown of the engine...and regardless of what they find, they will simply use the "excuse" of all the oil "leaked out" and it was my fault. Absurd and simply trying to scam the customer. The shop I brought it to is first rate and they warned me on day one that Carshield would try something like this! Beware!

Initially they took interest in my claim, but then after it was very difficult for either me or the repair shop to get ahold of them.

I thought I would get more hen $500 out of a $1300 bill. I guess your ads are not what I though they were.

They are #2, Endure is #1! They only use their parts, never explained! Rental car, you can't get one only for shipping if one day, repair 1 day. So one day rental even if your car is in longer in line for repairs! Even if the repair place needs longer to repair as many are on the repair list for them worthless! They are a 3rd part warranty program, Endure is not! 3rd party is not good! You can't cancel ahead of time, so you have to call back 3 days before your payment is due! I would not recommend them! Call Endure, it might be a bit more but in the end you are coming out way ahead!

It's sad that when you go to a dealership and you're told they don't deal with Carshield and they tell you why when you've been told that all you have to do is take your car to the dealership of your choice and they won't accept your warranty

Unfortunately, i wasn't able to keep the coverage too long. During the time I did have it, i wasn't able to use it as i didn't have the correct coverage for my incidents, which was on me, i guess. The potential is there however for a good response. The only other hold up was the fact that the dealership did not recognize Car Shield. Whether this was because of the dealership practices that Car Shield did not agree with, or the dealership didn't agree with Car Shield practices, I really don't know.

Either way, research, check out what you need and compare. Still a good idea in today's society, high prices, and loss of dependable shade tree mechanics.

Relentless calls, mail, on purchasing their home insurance! I have the car insurance, I don't want or need their home insurance, and I have told them this numerous times! I told the last guy who called me that I will cancel any business with you if you don't stop! They must have a 3rd party call center from the Philippines

It was easy to cancel one of my vehicles, however, the things I need done on my vehicle right now is not covered. Which makes me feel like maybe I don't need it at all if I have to pay $2000+ out of my own pocket to pay for things I need done on my vehicle right now on top of pay my monthly payment to Carshield. So I am seriously consider canceling my policy.

It was a very GOOD EXPERIENCE. I called to find out about what was covered on my policy. The person was very nice and knowledgeable. Good customer service is hard to find these days, so this was a rather refreshing surprise. Thank you so much.

I had a breakdown on my car as I was going on vacation. My daughter, who was driving us to the airport, had a breakdown and had our car towed back to F&F Motors, who is one of the approved stations. She requested an estimate so she could discuss the repairs with us. However, F&F never gave her the estimate and so CarShield declined our claim. Very dissatisfied customer!

I was very disappointed that they wouldn’t honor my claim based on the fact that I was going on vacation and couldn’t contact them after hours.

Approximately two weeks ago I received a call from customer support informing me that it was time to reup my service agreement. I was informed that I was able to change my payment method to either 6 months payment and save $30.00 or 1 year and save $60.00 or stay the same (monthly) and not aquire and additional savings. I opted for the 6 months billing. Upon reviewing my CC statement I saw that I was charged BOTH the regular billing AND the 6 months billing as well. I am not a happy camper. I will be calling Car Shield on Monday.

I was told multiple times to scan my tow receipt for reimbursement and I did just that and I have yet to receive my reimbursement. I have been waiting a week to about two weeks and I haven't received any emails explaining why I haven't received it or if I even will.

The authorization process for my transmission replacement was too long, then they would not use the dealer replacement transmission, had to wait until carshield ordered from their source, so I was basically without my vehicle for 10 days, I don't know if the replacement transmission is new, used, refurbished or salvage, do I have a warranty on it

When I call to get my vehicle registered the agent I spoke to was very understanding and professional especially when I told him about my situation concerning the company. Thank you for yall patience.

My wheel bearings were damaged and my water pump was cracked and leaking. My dealership called Car Shield the work was approved the parts were ordered and once the parts came in two days later the repair was complete. All that I needed to do was give verbal authorization to pay my dealership. A couple of hours later I got a e-mail that the payment was made and that I could come and get my vehicle.
It is running like a brand new suv.

I called about getting a rental car and the process was seamless.

Car Shied eventually paid for the covered repairs for that I gave them 5 stars, be advised to make sure you read the contract for all the stipulations to get them to pay for the repairs. I had to authorize an engine teardown, Then Car Shield had to have one of their inspectors inspect the engine and decide if the repairs needed were because of negligence on my part. After that I had to submit 12 months' worth of service records with dates and milage on them. All of this took 8 business days or a total of 10 days to complete before they agreed to pay for the parts that needed to be repaired. They did reimburse me for a week's worth of car rental but it took them 14 days to send a check for that. Also, the dealership and the manufacturer recommended that additional parts should be replaced at the same time to avoid having trouble a few weeks or months down the road which I had to pay an additional $1,600 myself because Car Shield didn't consider it necessary to pay for.

I contacted customer service many times and each time they were friendly and courteous and spoke English well. Sometimes they would be able to help me with my issues and sometimes they could only pass the information on to someone higher.

I have had car shield for years and not 1 time have any problems that I've had been covered by car shield, finding a shop that honor car shield is difficult in Memphis and I haven't find a dealer that honor it

Customer service was ok and tried to help find service shops and when one was found they kept my car for 4 days and never even looked at it

Contacted customer service about service locations. I was able to call the facility before traveling to them. Was able to get all information needed to the repair facility, was able to provide service records to Car Shield to a provided email. Wasn't aware of parts policy and how that worked with the repair facility; was informed that I could choose to use the repair facility parts for an additional cost or I could wait 7-10 days for shipping of Car Shield provided parts. I chose car shield parts! I was able to track progress through Car Shield better than I could through the repair facility.

Was provided information I needed in order for my claim to continue to move through the process.

For the time I was a member I never had the opportunity to use it. I tried several times but my repairs were never covered.
It's a great idea to have some comfort knowing that you're covered but not if it's never honored.

I was a little nervous when I chose CarShield to protect my used Jeep. Two employees tgatcI work with, and we are all in the car business, recommended them. After reviewing my options with the sales agent, I settled on etting the Diamond plan. Boy, am I glad I spent a few dollars more. On my first claim, communications were astonishing. Most of the rental car was covered while my car was in the shop. The updates between the CarShield people and the shop, as well as me was phenomenal. We'll done CarShield, I'll recommend your company to many of my clients that I sold used cars to, whose warranty has expired, to hook up with CarShield. My car was starting Car Shield sent roadside assistance. My car was working but the next day it did ot start. Carshield sent a tow truck to take my car in and I received a battery and a pick up to get my car. My car lights would not go out a guy came out from Aztec Auto and unhooked the battery. They came back out the next day and hooked it up so I could drive it back it. They worked on it and fixed now it working fine.

Due to financial issues, they were able to bring down my payment without sacrificing service. They are even re-imbursing me for my new tires. I didn't even know that was included. Gwen in customer service was terrific. Thanks to Gwen and all the Carshield team
