A couple of months after I signed up, I almost cancelled. Car shield reps worked with me to find the right coverage that better suited my needs that fit with my budget. I questioned my decision from time to time, all the way up until my transmission AND differential both gave out simultaneously. Over $8,000.00 that they covered. I had to pay almost $450.00 for the stuff that wasn't covered like fluids. Saved my A**! As long as you read your contract and know what to expect, Car Shield is a very good service.
I was called twice about my bill not gone through my credit card when I had a email from my bank showing that went through OK. So by the third time I had to tell the operator to recheck because it was paid. So I don't know why I was called when it was paid on time so looks like one department didn't know what the other department was doing
I have paid for car shield quite awhile now and when I needed a new thermostat, it was the only item not covered. Big O contacted them before working on my car.

I've only had one claim for $250.00 and gave it a good but the real test will come when I need a engine replacement because that will cost around $26,000.00

I heard from friends they're a cut above the rest of them so I said why not one of the best decisions I have made. However I'm not sure if the rental company is part of them if they are that division REALLY NEEDS A STRONG LOOK AT NOT GOOD!

Well I took this out back in December of 2020 and so far I haven't had to use it as of yet. Thank God for that. So knock on wood. Every time I call my payment in they are always nice and very helpful in doing so. Taking my payment that is. So I would most certainly have to give CAR SHEILD 5 STAR RATING FOR SURE. Car refused to start at home, so I called car shield and they sent out a Roll Back right away, and took me and my car to the Dodge dealership in Marianna, FL Where it was fixed right away, and all I paid for was the $100 deductible. Thanks so much, you are a great team.

I haven't required any major repairs requiring insurance coverage. But so far the staff Has helped me feel assured that in the case that I do need them, they will be there.
My car is over 20 years old and I like it and want to keep it. I’ve been meticulous about oil changes and the quality of oil that I use but I wanted every assurance I could get to keep this car going and car shield provided an extra measure.

I payed about 3-4 months and my car was making noises and Carshield didn't want to fix anything wrong because they gave me an excuse that inspection had 6 months already on top of that when I called they took a month just let me me know they couldn't do anything. So waited and and gave us an excuse not to do it. I payed 140 for maybe 3-4 months and did nothing. The person that scammed us to get it said it was fine that we did oil change and things like that and when it was time to repair my car they said there was no proof I did any work. A bunch of scammers don't get it and it takes more than a month to ever get it fixed because they ask for pictures and proof and more proof. Literally the shop we took it to said it was too much for them to do and had to hire someone to check the car. Ridiculous you have to call them 50 times to see what they want next… your better off paying full price for getting your car fixed.

The price and "Platinum" plan I was initially quoted suddenly got switched to a more expensive but less expansive "Gold" plan when I was actually trying to pay for this warranty and no one seemed to know why. I know why... this is a classic bait-and-switch deal. And you will wait at least two weeks before/if they pay your mechanic for any car repairs. Just a real shady way to do business. Avoid at all costs.

Keep everything with this company, they drag there feet and don't pay for a rental car even though it's their fault what your car isn't getting fixed. Then they look for any reason so don't have to fix your vehicle knowing you pay them month.

I contacted Car Shield a few year's back to cover my 2009 Subaru Forester. At that time, I was informed they would still cover my vehicle even though I had close to 200,000 miles, and they continue to cover the vehicle until it hit 400,000 miles. In November I was involved in my one and only accident after driving for 60 year's, and I was rear ended, and my wonderful Forester was totaled. When I purchased my newer Forester I contacted Car Shield, and they transferred the coverage to my newer model, with even more benefits! Car Shield is the best!
