A couple of months after I signed up, I almost cancelled. Car shield reps worked with me to find the right coverage that better suited my needs that fit with my budget. I questioned my decision from time to time, all the way up until my transmission AND differential both gave out simultaneously. Over $8,000.00 that they covered. I had to pay almost $450.00 for the stuff that wasn't covered like fluids. Saved my A**! As long as you read your contract and know what to expect, Car Shield is a very good service.
I was called twice about my bill not gone through my credit card when I had a email from my bank showing that went through OK. So by the third time I had to tell the operator to recheck because it was paid. So I don't know why I was called when it was paid on time so looks like one department didn't know what the other department was doing
It took over a week to get approval for the work to be done. They had the wrong VIN number so that messed up everything.
One CSR would tell me one thing and another one would tell me something else about why it was taking so long to process the request for repairs.

I found out That Car Shield sell the contract to other vehicle insurers. My contract was sold but this company did honor the contract and repaired my truck saving me $1100
I did not contacted them the dealership did everything for me

I was amazed how quickly; car shield acted on my claim at Dobbs! And then how quickly they paid for the claim! Had knee replacement; and needed therapy! Only two days!

My mechanic never called to get your authorization even tho he kept saying he would. I can't give an honest report since I never got to use you. But I thank you. I still owe his amount of over $400.

My 2019 Toyota Camry has 23 000 miles and I was going to get the gold plan but after careful consideration and finding out all that is excluded it is not worth it to me. Two people I know have Camrys older than mine with over 250,000 miles and have not had any thing go wrong with their Camrys. So when I called to cancel I ended up angry because the young man on the other end actually started arguing with me about not getting the coverage he was quite rude! My son is a mechanic and he can fix any problems I might have. END OF STORY I DO NOT WANT IT.
The first rate was 129.00 a month when I called to cancel the young woman dropped it to 79.00 a month and 100 deductible but even that is too much if you are excluding the computer, steering ,radio, navigation etc, etc. So I called back to cancel that's when the young man argued with me! Not good ! Big red flag for me!
Because it was month to month / no contract. The extended warranty I purchased when I bought my Camry it had 30 K miles I extended it to 125 K, and spent 1700.00 that I didn't get to use even once!

I'm in good hands with CarShield! I have been a customer for years and have a peace of mind that when something happens to my vehicle CarShield will be there.
I chose CarShield because of a horrible experience I had in the past with my vehicle and had to pay for the repairs and service out of my own pockets. It was very expensive I must say and I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t allow this to happen again.

My service agent initially told me that she had some difficulties getting approval for the service of the car. Next thing I know is that a schedule is in place and I was happy!
I choose Car Shield over its competitors because of trust issues. Car Shield told me upfront when I could claim for any benefit while the competition was simply just to make up numbers

We can go anywhere to get our car fixed and only pay for $100 deductible. If the car has to go into the shop, we can have a rental car till its fixed.

I've been paying carshield for 6 yrs. And went in to get my A/C fixed and they refused to pay for it. This was the first time I used there service. Don't waste your money, this a HORRIBLE COMPANY! DON'T DO IT!

came through with a rental car fixed my car and I'm happy ever took a little while to get it done but they still paid for it they're a good deal to have
