My starter gave out on my 2014 F-150. Once again, CarShield made my repair experience smooth and easy. What would have cost me nearly $500 was just my $100 deductible. So far I've saved thousands on repairs through CarShield.
To my jeep in because it was shutting down while driving. The technician said it was oil housing and oil sensor problems also the crankshaft sensor was failing. You guys said prove it. It didn't fail in the shop but it did three times the next day so. Now I got take it back 3days before Christmas. It shut down trying to merge onto the Pennsylvania Highway which is very dangerous. The crankshaft sensor is cover so why just cover it.
Waited three and a half hours for my warranty co. To pay there share of my bill. That they told me after many many phone calls it's on it's way.

Well the claims I had there is always something so nothing ends up being paid mainly. Not sure what we buy this insurance for sometimes and that's why I don't have it anymore too many little loop holes and that is not fair for customers be straight up and not paint a great picture and then you get the run around. Same with the appliance insurance that I got through carshield which was homeshield then changed to homesafe but when you put in a claim it is Armis, what the world all these different names that sounds already fishy and if they don't do my claim this time I will take a attorney and go after them. Tired of paying to these places and then if you get the policy they don't tell you anything about age of appliances and then you don't get the paperwork in the mail after you pay month then something happens and the claim be denied either carshield / homeshield with some excuse ridiculous in my eyes!
Reps find all kinds of excuses, stuff that is suppose to go into the system ends up not entered then you call back have to say the same thing over and over. Need better employees or a better system either way it is annoying most times. The only thing all of them are good at is to change your credit card in the system so the payment loyally keeps coming makes me sick to my stomach.

Called for info only not service. I thought I had to give up Car Shield on my 2006 Lincoln when it was 20 years old! Found out from Customer Service it's the miles not the years! Wow!

My 2001 Silverado's Alison transmission went out. It took over 7 weeks for Car Shield to locate a transmission (located one at a junkyard) took over a week to get it delivered. There was no idea what condition the transmission was in. There was one of the filters that Car Shield would not cover. The adjuster said it was a normal maintenance filter that was the owner's responsibility. I WAS NOT THE OWNER at this time. The automatic transmission selector was also not operational with the "new" transmission. Again, owner responsibility.
Read your contract, read your contract. PERIOD. I didn't even get a rental car to save Car Shield money. Total lack of customer service.
I thought it would do what the commercial said. Fix the vehicle.

When I called car shield and told him what was going on and told him I had to cut car towed to my mechanic then my mechanic told me the motor was no good it blew and car shield was the best because they put up five grand and that helped me out a lot I appreciate it car shield you are the best

I've only had one claim for $250.00 and gave it a good but the real test will come when I need a engine replacement because that will cost around $26,000.00

My transmission happened on my Morano and it took about a week and a 1/2 for them to replace it. Or should I say repair it so far so good?

I Acknowledge That I Didn't Follow The Terms Of My Car Shield Contract, But I Fully Explained The Extenuating Circumstances Behind Why I Didn't Start My Claim Until 1 Hour After The Break Work On My Car Began. I took my car to the dealership bill kay ford they look my car over for thing i took it in for and they told me what they found other wrong thing with my car which was nothing to do with what i took it in for i took it in for hub bearing replacement left and right side they told me i need a water pump vale cover gasket rad hose and they want to charge 4000.00 dollars i told them no just fix the wheel bearing and water pump and flush rad and replace hose i dont have the money car shield on paid about 1164.00 and i paid about 1361.00 the part was 1500.00 and 875.00 for labor i could have took it to a alley mech.a it would been cheaper the dealer is over price it and no renter car for me for 4days so that why i cancel.with car shield. This is a lot of BULL.

I have been told for two months that a refund would be a mailed to me. I received an email two weeks ago stating that it was not delivered and I needed to update my address and I did immediately. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED UT I still get surveys to ask if I am satisfied.
