I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!

Received a fraudulent letter alluding to a car and a policy I did not own. HORRENDOUS INTERNAL FRAUD BY EMPLOYEES, scamming for personal data. Complaint portals online to customer service, never work, and ask to refresh over and over and over... they do not want to hear your complaints or expose themselves to another CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT BY THE FCC, AND THE FEDS. SENT YOUR COMPLAINTS DIRECTLY TO THE SHADY CEO, LISTED AS A Mark Travis, thousands of BBC complaints against this company across the US and in Missouri! Looks like it will take another class action lawsuit, to get justice for the many defrauded individuals, and identity theft victims due to internal fraud and employee misconduct!

I was having issues with the motorized divers side mirror on my 2015 Kia. Before I contacted a repair shop I called Car Shield to make sure that the issue was covered. I was told by the representative I spoke with that the repair would be covered minus my deductible. I made an appointment with the repair shop. Three days later, I contacted the shop because I hadn't heard anything. They told me that they were waiting for approval of the repair from Car Shield. So I called Car Shield again, only to be told by another representative that it was NOT covered. I asked why I was told two different things and I was cut off very sharply by "is there anything else I can do for you today" and a quick hang up.
I don't know who trains your representatives, but there are a couple of things that need to be covered with them. The first is to know their business and not provide customers with false information. Secondly, a little more respect when dealing with the customers who in the end are responsible for their pay.
No particular reason, but I am rethinking that decision and looking into some other type of protection. On top of that it seems as though there are only two shops in my area that even accept Car Shield. So the advertisement of taking you car to any repair shop is false. Oh, you can take it, but chances are you are going to have to pay for the repair yourself and then be reimbursed for anything covered.

I've spoke with Customer service a couple of times just to get acquitted with my CarShield Contract. And they are very nice and helpful.

I was unable to open up my downloaded contract. I had a few questions to ask and she answered them perfectly.
I had issues with my contract that I downloaded, couldn't see it. The customer service rep helped me out by going through my contract.
My extended warranty ran out and I needed some coverage. I felt that this was very economical.

I would deny service because of the mileage requirement. When I prove to him that I did meet the milage requirements. I was still denied no reason given.
They hung up on me several times. And then pass me on to someone else who could not hear. I have appealed the denial but have not gotten an answer.
Because the commercial with ms.Fox sold me on the company.

Your representative was knowledgeable about a payment plan I wanted to follow. I decided to go with his description of what was being offered and found it easier than what I was paying.
Talking to them was nice and easy lemon squeezy in my opinion. Not once did I get a run around. I asked a question and I got answered quickly. Nothing like that happens much today with some customer services if you ask me..
My vehicle is over 6 years old now and I plan to keep it until it dissolves into a rust pile. It's paid for and out of warranty. That says it all I think.

Car shield sent me to a shop and got a diagnostic test done on my car and told the shop not to fix my because both problems was covered under a factory recall and the dealer fixed it free!
Needed an extended warranty and did my homework and gave them a call, I’m glad I did! Nice friendly rep that explained my coverage and found me a new mechanic shop that’s honest and reliable! Car Doctor!
