I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!
Car shield would not pay for parts or labor. I was just very unhappy with having to pay for insurance and still have to pay for the parts and repairs myself.

Tom Wood Porsche did not except Car Shield you are considered as a third party and they told me I would need to try and get the money from you, in other words they want the money from the customer they don't want to deal with the 3rd party.

Will not recommend anyone get warranty with CarShield. I have been keeping up with my maintenance on my car for every little thing. And they try to come up with any reason not to get your car fixed yes. And I feel like they are doing this since I am almost at the end of my warranty they were refusing to fix anything on my car and are coming up with every type of excuse to not fixing my car. They will steady transfer you to different people not lit speaks to the manager say that they are the highest person up knowing that there's somebody else higher than them. If I could I would've never got warranty with them and I would've kept my money because NAV wasted more money dealing with them then I would've had pocket. They refuse to take anything from my mom and pop shop they only want big-name companies receipts. They will try to say that your receipt is fake even though it has everything on there even though it is a real receipt that you got from your mechanic. They tried to say their my receipt was fake and I had never got any service done on my car even though I kept up with everything.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t waste your money they will find anyway not to fix your vehicle

I was driving by my dealership (1/25/24) when the check engine light and a knocking noise started so I pulled in to have it checked out (less than 500ft). It was a major engine problem. My service guy submitted the quote that day. Car shield didn't upload it to their system so an inspection could be scheduled until Wednesday of the following week (1/31/24), and only did so after the service advisor called several times over the preceding two days.
The "adjuster" Mark, did not attempt to schedule an inspection until a service escalation specialist contacted him on Friday (2/2/24). He then did not bother to tell anyone that, due to my location, an inspector couldn't be scheduled, so pictures had to be uploaded, until a service escalation specialist contacted him (2/7/24). All the while, I was forced to extend my rental car use beyond the "covered" seven days because of adjuster Mark's incompetence and negligence. The garbage customer service at car shield would not extend the rental car reimbursement beyond the original 7 days, even though the delay was entirely their fault.
On top of that, I was told that they would only partially cover the repairs because my turning into the dealership when the noise started and the engine light turned on (500 ft of distance) was negligent on my part for continuing to drive.
The first level customer service staff is rude, dismissive, talks over you and barely speaks English. The second level "escalation" team is helpful, but there is no way to reach them directly, and even if they tell you to ask for them, the first level people fight you on it and say that they can't connect you to the person you were talking to before.
All around just an awful company to work with! If you can find a legitimate service contract provider, go that route. These people are terrible!

I had to wait two weeks for an appointment with the dealership. Not Car Shields fault. Was approved and repaired in one day. Would have been over $600 dollars but only $100.
My car is a 2012 Cadillac CTS4 with only 66,000. I have not had any major problems. I plan on keeping it. Just hedging my bet.
