I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.

Representative was responsive and skilled in answering my questions in regards to my policy and coverage.

I've only been a customer for about 6 months when the alternator and thermostat went out on my BMW. Car Shield came through as promised.
49 Tires told me that Car Shield (CS) would not pay for my thermostat do I called CS who explained that they requested a reason for the gauge not working (or something like that). 49 Tires must not be in a business of making money- they lied to me and lost my business - forever.
My warranty had expired and I’d kept seeing the commercials. I didn’t want to be without coverage so I gave them a try.

I'm so glad I decided to go with Car Shield for an extended warranty. They have been so helpful with all of the repairs I've needed.
