After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!

A small issue with the car shield app. Reps indicated the issue would be fixed within a few days, they were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

I use my truck daily, and as of this writing it has been tied up at the shop, in the authorizing procedure, for over two weeks. I was only authorized a rental vehicle for 7 days, leaving me with no truck. I think this firm 7 day rental policy needs to be addressed, for potentially larger, longer repairs. My payments are made on time, I feel I should not have to suffer this inconvenience, based on Car Shield's procedures.
I was quoted policy, nothing more.
For all the reasons stated in your advertising!

After further review, it appears the claims department has requested certain documentation from the Repair Facility to move forward in the process. Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.

Customer service is good, but your approach to fix a repair is degrading.
Seven years ago it seemed like the right thing to do because when I purchased my car it was out of warranty and I needed the coverage offered by your plan.

This is the first experience I've had with this type of insurance. The Representatives could not have been nicer, taking the time to lay out what needed to be done, details to submit, then going over the mechanic bill item by item to be sure it was understandable before approving the payout. My mechanics also remarked about what a pleasure it was to work with good reps who know what's what and are responsive and easy to understand. No hidden agendas, all right up front. A pleasure.
Honestly? Because my Brother had just purchased it and had a great experience.

Needed to replace my credit card as someone got the numbers. Called Car Shield and explained what happened and gave her the new numbers, it was over in a matter of seconds! I was pleasantly surprised that there were no long waits and elevator music to endure!

Two recent repairs were not covered; the engine cooling fan and the thermostat housing. People buy this product to protect against financial calamity, but if the wrong thing breaks the coverage is worthless.

We put in a claim after our van had trouble with transmission slipping when climbing hills. We had taken out Car Shield 5 months before this happened. It has been two weeks, the garage we took it to has been very good and kept us updated on repairs. However, the process seems long and complicated. Car Shield requiring photos and much information and demands for more information.
We were confused by an email sent to us requesting a lengthy list of things we needed to send in to the company before our van could be repaired. Then the garage also got emails of the same sort. We were assured that everything was fine by Car Shield. We have concerns that we will have to pay for the transmission to be torn apart, causing us a hardship to pay for labor costs, above the $500. deductible.
We buy used vans and know that they can break down at any time and repairs are expensive. We are retired and on a tight budget. We had heard of Car Shield and received an advertisement in the mail.

I gave several customer service reps my phone number, confirmed my car rental and got there and was told they tried to reach me at the number given to them by Car Shield reps hence no rental. Had to reschedule for the next. There has to be some empathy for the customer who is apparently caught up on a catch 22 with claims. Never thought it would be this horrible
I was made to feel helpless because of the different misleading information and am still waiting to hear from a claims rep
I felt the commercials were pretty convincing and I could get that same services advertised

Called car shield to find out how to file a claim. I have had CS for 2 years on my daughter's 2013 KIA. Never used it. Now that I needed it CS came through. Call to tell me what service the dealership was going to perform and if I was getting the best price.

My jeep didn't pass inspection because of two motor mounts that were broken. Also, it needed an oil pan, radiator, and a condenser for the air conditioner. There was other shop fees and things that they didn't cover everything but my portion was only $798 of a bill that was $3,900. They also covered at 7 Days of my rental car. So glad I got car Shield.
They were more than helpful to tell me that things that I forgot that were not covered were covered. They've explained to me about the rental car.
Saw the commercial knew that my car was old and in things were going to go bad on it so I called car shield and got a reasonable quotes for insurance.

This company called me and wanted me to bundle homeowners insurance with car insurance. I've been getting notices in the mail for quite a while. Finally, I told them that I don't own this home. The Rep said "thank you, I'll make a note of that and we won't call you anymore." Wonderful!

AC died in my 2015 Mercedes and Car Shield not only fix the AC, they provided a rental car.

I've used Car Shield for about 18 months. Last month I encountered a car repair bill that was over $2,200. Car Shield covered $1,700 of the repair costs. I figure I had an annualized return of approximately 17.5% on my "investment" in CS. Not bad in today's economy.

I inadvertently missed giving my new financial info for payment and they showed a warm spirit in not canceling me. Due to loss of my spouse I was a little forgetful. So I'm happy about their patience, especially since unforeseen things happen. Thank you!
They came as soon as possible and then another occasion they got my car repaired right away. I certainly would recommend them, though I don't always have issues, I'm glad for the help when I need it.

Was told the trucks repair would not be covered. Was not happy about this decision. Filled out an appeal form and within 2 days I was contacted saying after a review they were going to pay. Glad about that but shouldn't have to go through all this when something breaks on your vehicle.

I've been a member of Carshield's Warranty Program for quite a few years. During this time, I've had to do maintenance on several vehicle parts. When claims were called in for approval I must say the dealership handling all repairs have been received positively wit prompt and immediate responses for claim verification. I have been blessed to not have my price portions to be above what I felt was reasonable. All claims are received, quoted a price with repairer, and paid upon completion of work.

Carshield process is easy and transparent. Almost all my claims were approved without hassle. The coverage saved me, at least, $******* in repairs including Mercedes-Benz timing chain. Most of my challenges were with the mechanics I selected, not Carshield.

Car Shield had very good customer service when I signed up. The person I talked to was very knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. I got much better coverage at a better price than with Endurance. The best thing is my price will never go up!
I was with Endurance for about a month and a few weeks and got a notice that their company was doing a price increase. So I called Car Shield and talked with a very nice gentleman that explained their coverage plans and answered all my questions. I got much better coverage and at a better price. I feel real comfortable with the plan I have now with Car Shield
