My starter gave out on my 2014 F-150. Once again, CarShield made my repair experience smooth and easy. What would have cost me nearly $500 was just my $100 deductible. So far I've saved thousands on repairs through CarShield.
To my jeep in because it was shutting down while driving. The technician said it was oil housing and oil sensor problems also the crankshaft sensor was failing. You guys said prove it. It didn't fail in the shop but it did three times the next day so. Now I got take it back 3days before Christmas. It shut down trying to merge onto the Pennsylvania Highway which is very dangerous. The crankshaft sensor is cover so why just cover it.

A couple of months after I signed up, I almost cancelled. Car shield reps worked with me to find the right coverage that better suited my needs that fit with my budget. I questioned my decision from time to time, all the way up until my transmission AND differential both gave out simultaneously. Over $8,000.00 that they covered. I had to pay almost $450.00 for the stuff that wasn't covered like fluids. Saved my A**! As long as you read your contract and know what to expect, Car Shield is a very good service.
Not too many hoops to jump through, just tell them what's going on with the vehicle, they let you know if it's covered, take it to the shop, pay the deductible, pretty easy process.

They are trying to find a way not to pay for covered. The service department tried on 4 different occasions to contact customer service and didn't get a response. The service department worked with me to cover some of the cost that you all denied.

Because of their motto of covering repair costs and the customer only paying the deductible.

I've been a member of Carshield's Warranty Program for quite a few years. During this time, I've had to do maintenance on several vehicle parts. When claims were called in for approval I must say the dealership handling all repairs have been received positively wit prompt and immediate responses for claim verification. I have been blessed to not have my price portions to be above what I felt was reasonable. All claims are received, quoted a price with repairer, and paid upon completion of work.

The other provide, I cannot recall the name, said that my plan with Car Shield was canceled. They also said that CS had a $10 million lawsuit settled this summer and many more law suits pending. They also said CS is a third party company.
I did not give them any information of mine and I declined their auto warranty plan.
I wanted you to know.
I chose CS for their coverage.

My windshield wiper fluid wasn't working. The motor went out. It was covered under this warranty with $100 deductible...still cheaper than paying out of pocket for it. Fast claim time and payment to the company who fixed this for me!

I took my car to the local Ford dealer when I was having trouble with it. The dealer filed the claim car shield got back to me right away. Let me know what was happening. Everything went very smoothly and they paid the entire claim.

The CarShield customer service agent/representative was very helpful with assisting me in securing a rental car on very short notice. She contacted the rental car company directly to arrange a rental, at CarShield's expense, while my vehicle was in a repair facility. My only requirement was to go to the rental car facility to pick up the vehicle! With each encounter I've had with CarShield they never disappoint, always providing excellent support! I highly recommend this company to anyone needing extended warranty coverage on their vehicle(s)!

First repair using Car Sheild after a year with them. Service manager at dealership didn't have much nice to say about Car Sheild and had me worried a bit. Absolutely nothing to worry about here. I informed the associate that I had received a notice in the mail stating my contract was cancelled. The agent was quick to check my account and report to me that I was up-to-date with all my payments and thus I was in good standing She was courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful. She directed me to disregard the notice. I do not remember the exact date of my recent experience, so I just indicated the date below at random.
Prior to my enrollment in Car Shield, I read some of the reviews. I wanted to know how other companies compared with Car Shield in terms of the coverage terms, pricing and more. Car Shield was better than the other companies. Since then the agents/associates there have been respectful, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I appreciate those qualities.

Car Shield is quick to call when a payment is done and/or rejected. But when it's time to pay for repair Car Shield will do whatever it takes not to pay for the repairs. I could have just taken the money that I paid Car Shield and used it for my repairs. Until Car Shield can ante up for the repairs I am requesting that the DO NOT call me for any payments. I will be seeking legal advice to see where to go from here. I work to hard for my money to have a company take it and not do what it used for.

Anthony, after looking through your claim, it was determined the Repair Facility couldn't provide a cause of failure regarding your vehicle. The Administrator requires a cause of failure, as we can only cover the parts listed for coverage per your contract. Recently, our escape encountered a transmission issue. Our auto repair facility collaborated with Carsheil to replace the transmission. The Carsheil representative ensured that we were kept in the loop.
I reached out to customer service a few times to rent a car and extend it. Whenever I needed help, the customer service representatives were always friendly and helpful. They made sure to find me the resources I needed. Excellent customer service. It was a wonderful experience and I am happy with the services I received.

During the past summer my F150 Pickup developed a transmission problem. I took it to a shop that accepted Car Shield. I paid my $200 deductible. It was fixed within twenty four hours. It was something to do with a part in the transmission that wasn't properly picking up all the signals from the computer system. The total cost was over $900. So I easily saved better than $700 by having Car Shield. The date of the experience is approximated. I don't currently have the receipt with me. Great Job, Thanks Car Shield!
When I reported my transmission problem with my truck I was explained the proper procedures that I needed to do to make sure my truck was repaired.
I knew my Warrenty on my 2 vehicles would be running out soon. I had been told of good experiences by others that have Car Shield. It is also very reasonable and cost efficient.

I was contacted by a representative, showing concern about how my vehicle was being taken to the same shop 3×'s for what appeared to be the same problem, she then went on to help me find another shop that accepted carshield she was patient and kind, I think we were on the phone for about a hour or so but she wouldn't give up, we googled and researched, she gave me big sister vibes she was awesome.

I've had my car in the shop for 2 weeks and still no car car shooting has been slow and also they couldn't find the parts available right away so what is cost you doing giving us mediocre Parts while they're charging us full price

This is the second claim by my dealer. The first one was denied, as I expect this in to be. Right now I am not happy with anyone bcause between your adjuster, and the dealer I have been without my car for three weeks.
The woman I spoke with was knowledgeable and polite.
I expect this to be my last car, it is a 2016 model with less than 16K on the clock. I simply wanted to cover the car in case of expensive repairs being needed.

My car began to show steam in the exhaust. Took it in and Car Shield denied the claim stating it was not a co vered item according to the contract which they never sent until after I paid for the policy. My engine failed. $9000 to replace it. We are going to court. Don't waste your money on this company.

Had coverage for 3 years after initial warranty ended at 60k miles. Drove 33,000 miles. Had number of small repairs. None were covered by Car Shield. Repairs cost 6k. Rat or mouse nest found in engine compartment. Repairs were 1,800. Car shield does not cover rodent damage.

We got Carshield to have a piece of mind. It works. Although sometimes it may take a while to get approval and stuff. I noticed that car dealer shops are not very excited and fond, when you tell them you have a Carshield. Anyway - I still had to pay deductible, and for parts that are not covered. But it was worth the money. Without the Carshield I would have to pay way more
