I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.
Had to reset my auto payment as my credit card on file was compromised. They did a nice job, very easy to do business with.
They have the best program for my vehicle.

A Very pleasant call with your agent Taylor. Purpose of call was to confirm a particular part (tire sensor) was covered in Our CarShield Diamond plan. Taylor confirmed that this sensor and labor was covered and then placed notes in Our plan to assure that when dealer agent called to cover sensor and labor cost. Then CarShield Agent taking call would already have ALL information in Our file to take care of Our repairs at said dealer. Taylor was pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, timely and We believe Taylor wished to take care of Our Needs and Requirements for repairs on Our 2019 Chevorlet Equinox Premier vehicle. JBB and JLB.
When We purchased Our Car Sheild plan, after reviewing a number of plans and With Our dealer at that time was taking The Car Sheild Diamond plan was the deciding factor for choosing Car Shield. "Since that time Our Dealer ceased taking The Car Shield Plan" "For Reasons We Did Not Ask" We now have to use another Chevorlet dealership For Needed Repairs on Our Vehicle". JBB and JLB.

Everything you watch with carshield on TV Is the same exact service provided when your vehicle gets into trouble, it was extremely simple to replace my transmission

They will put language in the contract that will negate fixing your vehicle. Car warranties are not worth the expense and hassle.

I did not contact car shield since the repair shop took care of dealing with car shield.
